I would like to give them 0 stars, but Google only lets me give 1 at a minimum. Dr. Jill Patterson told me “not to worry about” my chihuahua’s high platelets. “All the dogs have high platelets due to the blood smears.” Well, it turns out she was wrong. My Chihuahua, who was my emotional support animal ended up having 5 strokes and seizures caused by one large stroke and ended up dying. I have the MRI and blood work to prove all this. The vet specialist put my Chihuahua on a blood thinner for high platelets and the vet neurologist put her on anti seizure medicine, but it was too late. Do not take your animals here.

Even though Dr. Beth retired who is the founder I still think that they’re very professional, on time and three full staff that’s that are very qualified.

So glad to finally find a new vet for my dogs. Place has gone downhill. Goodbye Horizon

Very rude reception and vet 3 occasions Dr Penn scolded me when I complained about Cassandra Dr Penn misdiagnosed my standard poodle, very critical condition thank goodness we took her to another vet practice as he blew off our concerns! When I told him I would be taking my 4 dogs elsewhere he told me it was ok because they were fully booked 3 weeks outs, just a number not a fur baby to horizon animal hospital ???? Convenient location very inconvenient and inconsistent care Do not recommend One star too high Scottsdale dog lovers beware!!!!!

Staff is pleasant and the waiting room is comfortable.

I am grateful for the team at Horizon ❤️. I highly recommend this practice- I drove 40+ minutes for 15 years to see Dr Hareski or Dr Patterson because they loved and cared for my sweet Lucy as their own. Thank you for keeping her in great health into her old age, the always kind advice and the follow up phone calls. ????

I hate giving a 2 star BUT we were so happy with everyone, especially. boarding but I get no follow up/response from anyone at boarding…until I call 10hrs later & they say NO. We’ve taken all our babies here for over 10yrs and yet, nothing. Now I have to find new help as I enter hospital and for Vet Services for my pups. Very disappointing after being long customer.

Horizon Hospital's doctors and staff have been so helpful in identifying the cause of Marco's illness. We have been back and forth for the last month making sure that Marco is comfortable and in the hands of the best medical team. It has been heartbreaking to see Marco so sick but Dr. Glover and Dr. Beth have truly been amazing and we feel part of a great big family that is always looking out for Marco. Update May of 2021. Still the best staff in Scottsdale - i wouldn't take my pups anywhere but Horizon!

Could not ask for finer or more compassionate staff and dr. We had to put our 14 year old friend down. This is a fine hospital and warm place to go even if your going for a tragic event. The best. Thank you

I was nervous about my dogs teeth cleaning & Had used Horizon before but asked around for recommendations from people in the industry and still always got Horizon! Have been really pleased with the standard of doctor Penn's care and the friendly staff!! A lot of other that offices have gone corporate or sold to groups and this is still independent with a very good staff. Feel my 3 are in good hands.

We have been clients at Horizon for many years for our multi generations of fur babies. Hands down, Dr Wendy has been outstanding in all categories of Veterinary medicine. We so appreciate the Evidence Based Practice wrapped in the package of kindness and compassion. We are always treated with fairness and our pets are treated with dignity and respect. Our Vet Tech, JJ, is friendly, kind and gentle with our furry loved ones and the front office staff are always so very helpful. Thank you, ladies, for your continued excellence in caring.

We’ve been visiting Dr. Patterson for over a year now. My dog trusts and loves her and all the employees. We are met by the car since the quarantine, and she goes willingly. This is very unusual for her. So I feel very relaxed taking my dog to Dr. Patterson. Before the quarantine, when meeting with Dr. Patterson she gave me as much time as I needed to talk and is a very kind woman.

Amazing staff with my dog and her surgery and post op appointments even during covid times they kept us well informed and very detailed when spoken to in person and even on the phone. Glad to have this as my new vets office and so is Mopsey!!

It is time to allow humans INSIDE the office with our pets! I feel totally disconnected from the vet as she calls me in my car to discuss my pet. There is absolutely no bedside manner possible as the vet quickly briefs me over the phone while I sit in my car. It takes another phone call to pay, and another wait before my pet is returned to me. Let us inside!

I don't feel confident in their services or feel they really listened to me as a dog owner. I am changing vets
