Friendly affordable and great with my pets

My cat broke his leg somehow and the vet and techs were absolutely awesome. My cat who is super sketchy anyway doesn't have a problem with this place. I for sure recommend them. They are decently priced too which makes a big difference. And they take care credit. 5 stars for me!

Some of the nicest people I've ever met, my cat Bosco at the age of 17 started declining very fast. They were able to get me in same day. However he started passing while I was waiting in the room, and the nurse rush to get the doctor so they could do whatever they could to make his passing easy. They didn't even charge me since all they could do is just to a little bit of a sedative. Really shows that they actually care about the animals and not just money. If I decide to get another furry family member, I will definitely be using them from now on!

I am updating this review...The entire veterinary and vet tech staff here is amazing, professional, and caring. They are sensitive, understanding, and compassionate when it is time to put down a pet. The staff is loving and understanding with my older dog who had awful anxiety any time she walks through the door. Ask for Shawnee when initially calling in.

They are really good with Mocha, she is my 7 pound baby. Has a UTI.

The only issue I had was the personel didnt introduce themselves, so I thought I was talking to the Vet, but it was a vet tech. The tech did follow up on my puppy which I hadn't had with other vets clinics

AMAZING!!! Got us in same day twice without being an established patient! Dr. Merrett was very open and honest about everything, gave us all our options without pressure of feeling we had to choose one over the other and did very well to explain everything! Also I could not believe how reasonable their prices were compared to other vets up here! I'm switching all of my pets to them and I highly recommend them to everyone!

Receptionist and doctor were great but the technician with her ( better than you) attitude, didn't work for me. I didn't like her at all.

Unfortunately in the decision to grow, the focus on individual pet care, customers, and even the treatment of staff has changed from being amazing to being just another overbooked vet focused on numbers. If you need the basics I'm sure this practice will work well for you, but if you have any special need pets or pets developing health issues I would recommend going elsewhere.

We took our dog for an ear infection. The staff was nice and the veterinarian was very thorough.

My dog had surgery here. The initial appointment was a consultation. By the time I left I was very confident that Dr J could do the job. My dog and I are very happy ????

Recently took my dog there on an emergency basis. After specifically requesting Dr. Vergason to see my dog, I was told to get in by 3:45 and Vergason would make a point to see her. I arrived at 3:35. When I arrived and, after waiting over 35 minutes, I was informed that Vergason had already left because he did not have the time to see my dog!?!?!. I had to wait another 40 minutes for another vet to see her! Why the hell was I told to rush on over by 3:45 in the first place??? Do not go there, they are extremely unreliable.

We had to put down my husbands 18 year old cat. They were very professional and sensitive about the matter. We needed a same day appointment and they were able to accommodate us.

Friendly staff that genuinely seemed to care for my furbaby. We were visiting from out of town and they were able to get is in same day.

I have a fur baby that was scratching his ears really badly and I thought he had some foxtails in there - but when I took him in there were no foxtails but lots of fleas! They were quick on it and after bringing him home, I brought my other fur baby in to be looked at and sure enough, she had them too. They were so nice to my babies and Tricia was amazing. She was compassionate and she has a great sense of humor as well. She made me feel very confident in my choice for a new vet office. I will highly recommend them!

Great experience. My dog had an episode while traveling. They were able to fit us in the schedule. Did blood work while we waited. Dr. Bertch was knowledgeable and offered a systematic approach. Urgent care visit fee was $99 plus labs.

Wonderful vet clinic. Recommend to everyone.

Dr. V and his team are amazing. There was a very tragic incident that ended with my beloved kitty passing. I got the sweetest condolences in the mail signed by the whole team and it was very touching. There was a beautiful poem included that really helped me through my grief. I have never had a vet clinic that has cared so much!!!

We have ben taking our puppies ( a Shih tzu and a standard poodle ) to Premier Pet Hospital since we got them. The Doctors and staff are outstanding! From wellness visits to emergencies everyone is courteous and caring. They are awesome!

Having to say goodbye to our amazing dog Kylee was so extremely hard on myself and my family. We hurt deeply. I am beyond grateful to have had everyone here at Premier bye our side through this sad situation. Your compassion and understanding was felt so deeply. We drove from Canada down to Prescott Valley, and our dog developed a bad infection. We noticed it right away, so we looked up some local vets. This vet came up with good reviews. We called them and with short notice they were able to get us in. We were seen right away. They gave our dog an ultrasound, urinalysis, antibiotics and pain medication. We expect to pay a lot because it was an “emergency”, but it was very affordable. They even called after hours to let us k is the results of the urinalysis. If I lived in this area this would be my number one vet. I felt the care my dog was given was too notch, affordable and friendly front desk staff. Thanks for the great care.

The only place in town that would take my daughters puppy immediately. They are absolutely amazing here! I give them a 10/10!

When I my fur baby was on the edge of his life, the caring doctor and his staff were so gentle and caring and gave us all the time we needed for our goodbyes. I will keep returning to Premier Pet hospital. The doctor genuinely cares and listens.

I'm sad to give them such a low rating. My first appointment was fabulous. The next three were awful and I'm not going back. The doctor is knowledgeable and kind. However, the front office staff is not professional and there is a huge issue with communication amongst staff. I have been informed that the lax on care is due to emergencies. I wonder what quality of care my pets are getting if they get consistently pushed aside for emergencies. At my second appointment I was informed that there were six people ahead of me, and I felt like I had to defend why my cat needed to be seen as staff was crass. I waited. I was there from 315 to 430 on Saturday. The needle aspiration didn't work so I had to come back in. I was there from 830 to 950 on Tuesday, it was supposed to be a drop off appointment but for some reason they had me stay. Then on surgery day I was told my cat would be taken care of that morning. I didn't get a call until 4 and was informed her surgery wasn't done until 3. This means she had been fasting since 9pm the night before with no food and no water. My cat is 15 years old so this whole process was super stressful for her, and concurrently me as I love her very much. The final straw? She was scheduled to get a bandage removal on Monday, they called on Saturday to say that I could go ahead and remove her bandage on Saturday. I promptly cancelled both upcoming appointment. I can't trust something so prescious to people who don't pay attention to details! A minor annoyance was: my cat is a girl and they kept calling her a boy. Got her pathology results in a timely manner. The veterinarian called me and thoroughly explained her results.
