Rob is an incredible Dr. Trainer. We took our seven month old golden doodle to him who went in as a somewhat misbehaved dog and came back in just 2 1/2 weeks as an incredibly smart and obedient dog. I recommend Rob to anyone

This training is absolutely top of the line. If you want to have a dog that listens and you can enjoy taking in public and having people compliment how well behaved your dog is, this is it. Worth every penny. Get what you pay for with dog trainers.

I did a 2 week board and train with my dog and it has drastically changed both of our lives for the better. He is a 120lb dog who had some bad anxiety/stubborness, where i couldn’t bring him out places with me, couldn’t count on him to listen, etc. After getting him back, we have gone on vacation together and he comes with me almost everywhere. He knows his commands so well, and all the problems I had with him before he went into training are gone now. I cannot thank Rob and his team enough! I have been working at Rob’s dogs for half a year now and I’m in love with this job. Getting to work with dogs everyday and seeing them change is truly rewarding. With the knowledge I have learned through his training I have been able to teach my own German Shepherd at home. She fully listens to her commands when told and I can even have her off leash when I go on hikes, knowing with the press of a button she will coming running back to me. This is the best place to go for dog training!

Are Rottweiler needed to be trained as a service dog. We needed to comfortably be able to go out to public spaces and not have to worry about how our dog was going to react or how the public was going to engage. Rob handled both. We highly recommend Rob and truly appreciate his skill set when it comes to dealing with canines. After eight weeks we can confidently take our service, Rottweiler just about anywhere!

Such a bizarre experience! I paid $80 in advance for an evaluation of my dog for training purposes and was asked to bring his favorite treats with me. There was several things that were just strange and basically received nothing for my $80. Completely amazed at the 5 star reviews. First, Rob came out (here I will say he seemed like a nice fellow) and was within a couple of feet of my dog and his first question was, "Is he aggressive?" Although he is a a bigger dog (60 lbs) It was pretty obvious to anyone, even those not familiar with dogs, that his lack of interest in Rob, his demeanor with his tail wagging and his close proximity to the dog would indicate he was not aggressive. I am not sure why a professional dog trainer would have to ask that question. Second, I am also not sure what the point of bringing the dog was as he had no interaction with my dog except taking the bag of treats and trying to give him one. We adjourned from outside his house quickly and went inside to watch a film from the website that he had given me instructions to watch before coming!!?? He then gave a spiel (while watching the same film) on the website about the training and the cost plus that I would need to buy an electric shock collar and a prong collar for the training!! Geez! I doubt if you would have to be much of a professional trainer using a shock collar and a collar that dug painfully into the dogs neck to get the behavior you want. He just didn't seem all that comfortable around my dog (who is the biggest lover dog you will ever run into!!!) and I begin to wonder if this was some sort of scam I had wandered into and understood why he wanted the evaluation money paid up front!! Just a weird 25 minutes with no return on investment!!

Rob helped me and my rescue pit bull. When I got Tug he had been living on the streets. Tug was approximately 16 to 18 months old and had no Maners. Walking on a leash was painful. I.E. his name. The consultation and first session were a challenge, a bit difficult to watch. Rob was firm and patient and consistent. By session 3 I could have changed Tugs name. Tug no longer fights the leash. Tug will sit or lie down and stay that way even around major distractions. I now have a dog I can be proud of. I no longer have to excuse or apologize for his behavior. Thanks Rob

A complete transformation with our two male Amstaff puppies. We found out after adopting them that two males was a recipe for disaster so we knew that serious training would be needed. Our pups spent two weeks at 'boarding school' and we are shocked by their transformation. When we dropped them off they were a handful. They would chew on their leash, not follow direction and appeared to be anxious most of the time. They would chew on my flip flops while I was wearing them! They are cute but clearly this behavior had to stop. Just picked them up this past Friday and spent most of the weekend with our mouths hanging open. They follow our commands, are a pleasure to take on a walk, and no longer feel the need to do more than sniff a flip flop or shoe. They are calmer, happier and eager to make us happy. We spent an hour reviewing the commands and how to proceed with training once we got home. Rob was beyond professional with every aspect of setting up training and thorough with instructions. My French Bulldog Kobe did the 2 week boarding/on leash training with Rob. I couldnt believe what was accomplished in such a short time. Kobe is now so obedient and calm around other people/dogs. I often get compliments about how well behaved he is on our walks. Just remember its on you, the owner, to reinforce what your dog has been taught by Rob. Consistency is key.

Before going with Rob’s Dogs, I couldn’t walk my 2-year old pitbull mix at all. She was reactive and would lunge at people and dogs, and she was so anxious about every noise around her that she wouldn’t even relieve herself on walks. After the first session with Rob, she was walking without pulling. We completed our five-session training, and she now walks without reacting to everything she sees. We also trained my little 6-year old corgi/pitbull mix who used to react to other dogs and who had knocked me down countless times to chase cats. Now he ignores other dogs and cats while we’re walking. I’m just disappointed that I hadn’t taken them for training sooner.

Our little guy Moby stayed with Rob and his family for a 2 week board & train. Moby came home with all of the commands we had discussed, was eager to continue to learn with us at home and was completely taken care of like he was their own. My Wheaten terrier is a great dog - but really needed help with focus for her high energy and leash manners. I found Rob and his training was life changing - my pup is the same sweet dog, but now she is so much more focused and well-behaved. I did the two week board and train with 5 one-on-one sessions. A lot of the corrections were teaching me how to reinforce good behaviors. I highly recommend Robs Dogs LLC that needs some help to control their pup.

My girlfriend and I reached out to rob less than a month after adopting our dog Goose. We wanted to train him to be off leash as well as work on him being under control around other animals. We just completed our training and it’s gotten to where our dog can run around off his leash in parks and he’s called when told to. It’s great feeling being able to let your dog off his leash and not stress about him taking off towards other animals or traffic. As well as knowing your dog isn’t going to take off out the front door every time it’s opened. We highly recommend going to Rob if you’re wanting to get your dog trained! He is great about explaining why you’re doing what you’re doing in every session and helps you get a better understanding of your dog! Definitely check him out!

Rob's Dogs Training is life changing! We contacted Rob because our 3 year old pit bull was having behavior issues while on leash such as being reactive towards other dogs (barking and lunging), having anxiety about loud noises, and he was basically walking us. These issues made our walks very stressful and had a significant affect on his quality of life. We did private training lessons with Rob and saw major improvements during our very first session! After completing the private training lessons, our dog has made tremendous improvements and we learned a lot too! We are so thankful for Rob's Dog Training and wish we did it sooner!

I brought my German Shepherd Carly in to do off leash training. When I first brought her she was pulling on the leash, running all over, and acting aggressive towards other dogs. Rob was super friendly and professional when it came to training! He helped out with any questions I had, and was always on time to sessions. Carly can now walk by any dog without getting distracted or reactive. She takes to commands easily and doesn’t even need her leash to walk around with me. It’s like night and day. Rob was fantastic to work with and really helped us work on being better dog-parents to our high-energy pup! We had private lessons with him and each week, he’d give us exercises to work on while emphasizing the importance of consistency, whether it’s at home or in high-distraction situations. I had a great experience working with Rob to train my dog. Before all the training, my dog was a high energy spaz who was not a pleasure to walk or have around other people / animals. Now that we are finished with our sessions he is great off leash, listens to commands, and goes everywhere with me. No way I could have gotten my dog to this point without Rob’s sage like training.

After finding a great golden retriever puppy, we were adamant that we take the time to train her successfully. After interviewing several trainers we came upon Rob and have never looked back. He was patient with us and with her but she responded to him immediately. We started at almost four months old and now she is seven months and a joy to be around. We brought our rescue dog Charlie to Rob to help with several behavior modifications; mainly to not pull on the leash on walks, not jump on us when we came home, and to sit and lay down on command so she wouldn’t beg at the table or be right in our faces whenever we sat down. Did I mention she’s a Great Dane? We started to see benefits from his training methods after our first session with him! His directions to us were very clear and he demonstrated exactly what he meant. Our 14 yr old was even able to practice the training methods with Charlie. I very much appreciated that his training recommendations to us evolved a bit over time as he got to know us and Charlie better. He clearly meets each individual dog where they’re at already, both on the basis of personality and past experiences with training. Not really knowing anything about dogs, from a training perspective, I learned a lot about how a dog best learns (Consistency is key!) and how we could effectively and humanely use the tools he provided us to assist with training. If you are looking for a very knowledgeable trainer who is easy to work with, I can recommend Rob!

Rob is AMAZING! I highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a fantastic bonding experience with your 4-legged children. My husband & I took 8 private lessons for each of our Australian Shepherds (5years old & 1.5 years old) -who were overall well-behaved, & knew commands when treats were involved...but would bark at other dogs & sometimes leash-pull; we really wanted them to be obedient off-leash at dog parks among all those distractions. Great results! You definitely need patience & a LOT of practice- but worth the results!

Rob has been great with my dog. Before training I was really stressed out with my dog and having issues with my dog listening to commands. All the issues I had before with my dog have been worked on and I still have lessons remaining to work on new skills. Would highly recommend

Rob is amazing. What I liked the best is he was patient with ME and my dog. I needed help with assertive behavior from my dog. She charged and barked at other animals and people on and off the leash at home. Rob helped me understand her behavior and put a plan together. Within a month my dog is an entirely different pet. I can walk her now without her getting anxious with other animals or people. We can now tell her to go to her crate when people come to the door and she will not charge them. Rob is amazing. We bought a German Shepherd puppy - never owned a big dog before! Had 10 classes with Rob. Taught her everything she knows! I learned that most of the training was about how I responded. It is a TON of work to train a dog! But worth it!!! She is a great dog! Totally worth the investment!
