I brought my beloved cat SAM to be cremated, he died at home, his ashes arrived in less than a week, in a wooden box placed in a nice velour bag with a nice note. Staff was very friendly everything went fast.

My dog received the kindest most loving care and was taken in immediately to be seen. I felt so much relief and I felt she was in good hands the entire time she was there thank you so much for caring for Miley.

I have been to this vet many times over the past 15 years. I have had nothing negative to say until today. The lady at the desk was was rude to me. She couldn’t understand what I was saying thru my mask. The way she spoke to me took me by surprise. Then the vet tech who came out to talk to me was also super rude. When I was trying to tell her what meds my dog takes she interrupted, didn’t let me finish and said, “ I can’t!” Picked up my dog and left. I’m not sure what that was about. Then I saw the vet and she was incredibly rude and condescending. I honestly don’t know what I did to deserve the treatment I got. I was so upset I was going to leave without my dogs medication but they just happened to bring it out as I leaving. I was in tears. The woman who gave me the medication was kind and apologetic. Dr Patel, the supposed professional here, is so cold hearted. I would have never expected her to talk to me the way she did. I’m seriously upset not only for the way I was treated, but I don’t think my dog was properly diagnosed and the visit was a huge waste of time and money.

Worst experience ever! After 4 hours of waiting with no communication of what is going on. They finally put us in a room where we spent another 30 minutes staring at the walls, then we’re told that they need to do X-rays which was the first thing we said when we walked in. Paid over $700 and left to possibly have X-rays done in the next several hours. We we charged for extra pain medication because by the time they examined the dog, first dose wore off. Horrible experience ever! Definitely not coming back.

The doctor and staff were incredible. They gave me so much information about what was going on with my sweet pup and were so incredibly kind throughout the daunting process of putting my beloved pet down. I highly recommend this emergency vet to anyone who needs their services.

I appreciate the care our 17 year old cat Hud received here. He was diagnosed with pretty severe renal failure and they hospitalized him for a few days to stabilize him. We got our sweet, happy boy back and he was feeling much better. Unfortunately a month later his back legs suddenly stopped working and we had to rush him back. The hospital was at full capacity, but they were kind enough to quickly triage and still see him. This really meant a lot to me because the next emergency vet was far away, and we were already familiar with their facility and staff from the prior hospitalization. While we were waiting, he quickly decompensated, suddenly becoming short of breath and drooling. The staff quickly rushed him back as soon as we notified them. Sadly it was his time to go, and they compassionately euthanized him. Thank you Dr. Sullivan. They were busy, but still allowed us time to be with him afterwards. The company they used for his cremation was also great. I expected his cremated remains to come in a disposable box, but he was placed in a nice wooden box, and even gave us a small clipping of his fur. We also ordered some paw prints which were just so special. Thank you again.

I know these people are super busy but the vet that helped me was very rude, no bedside manner. VERY expensive.

My 14 y/o dog had a seizure/stroke at 3:15 am 11/29. Drove to our former Vet Emergency place as we had used them 3 times before with pretty good service. Called ahead and automatically placed on hold with the recorded message they were helping other customers and therefore assumed they were open. I was on hold for 25 minutes driving there. They turned out not to be open and all the lights were out. No indication on the door or signage indicating they were closed. The sign outside indicated they were "full" and if your animal was inside to call their number. Called again with the same result with nothing on the answering machine indicating they were closed (i.e. "We are closed so please take your animal to...). No outdoor bell, as indicated on the window. Pounded on the windows and rang the employee entrance doorbell with the possibility that someone was in the back. After 15 minutes of this spent another 25 minutes to get to 1st PetVet North Valley. All of this time my dog was writhing vigorously to his right. Called ahead and immediately spoke to the receptionist who said they would be prepared when we arrived and they were. Wally was immediately taken back to be examined. Treated professionally, promptly and with compassion. The Vet, Carine Otto, appeared in a very short time and provided us with options. We ended up putting Wally down. It will always haunt me wondering if there could have been a different outcome if he had been seen sooner at the other facility. This is our new Vet Emergency place.

I had to put my cat down Saturday morning. A heartbreaking experience made bearable due to the professionalism, kindness, and patience of the vet (who was new there) and the tech. Due to the Dr’s good advice, we were able to confirm this was truly the right thing to do for my girl. Thank you.

Jen, Kat, and Christine are the best. Highly recommend and would return (especially to them!) if needed. The staff is professional and kind and walked us through everything that they were doing. They also didn’t mind that I called a million times to check in! Helped us take care of our pup who hurt his front leg after escaping the backyard. We came in after hours, and then again for a follow up and they treated both my pup and myself so well. Thank you guys!

Do not take your pet to this place!!!! Took my dog twice for an emergency just so they can tell me they are not taking any er emergency (twice different days). I even called 15 minutes prior my arrival just to confirm and they said to bring him in. The stuff wasn’t professional at all. They even said my dogs wound did not look like an emergency

These are the most kind, considerate people in Phoenix. I recommend them to every one of my pet owner friends, for any situation.

I had to put my dog down on a holiday and it was cheaper here than my regular clinic on a non-holiday!

Very caring, helpful. They tried to help cut costs down but it was still Extremely Expensive. Did a good job cleaning wounds, putting in drains, & stitching him up.

Kind....efficient....and do not try to squeeze every penny you have to take care of our much loved pets. They were wonderful and so unlike that horrible 1st Pet Clinic I had been to before.

My poor baby was 7 and I brought her to be seen by emergency. I am not an idiot by any means but Dr. Bowman was extremely unprofessional and talked to me like I was a child or slow. Speaking louder and slower when I asked her a simple question for the second time to clarify. She was wishy washy and couldn't explain to me what the blood results really meant. she then presented a very expensive estimate to hospitalize her to get an ultrasound on Monday. I didn't get why we needed to hospitalize her to get an ultrasound done. I decided since the doctor was so rude I would go somewhere else for a second opinion. I brought the lab results to the new place on the same day. I did X-rays and more bloodwork to confirm what original bloodwork showed and got COMPLETELY different results. My kitty is fine after having surgery to remove the hairball stuck in her intestines. The bloodwork was so different the new place suggested the wrong blood results were entered maybe?

My friend brought her cat, Silver in because he had labored breathing and was being a bit lethargic, she was worried because he was exposed to aromatherapy oils. The vet (Dr. Gray) wanted to get some xrays and bloodwork but thought Silver would be okay waiting until the morning. He told her that if Silvers condition worsened to bring him in again. A couple hours later Silver started panting and yowling. She called them again to try and check in and was told that they were to busy and would not see him. She explained that the vet said to bring him in if his symptoms worsened. The receptionist rudely explained that they has several more "things" come in and had no availability. Now being down $113office visit she'll have to pay to visit another clinic to start over. I think its ridiculous, it would have taken 15 minutes to have a tech do a quick xray and take some blood. I am writing this review on behalf of my friend because she isn't very computer savvy, and I was on the phone the majority of the night while she was trying to figure out where to get help for her Silver cat.

Took my dog here because he was acting weird and turns out he ate an edible and was too high . They were very upfront with costs of everything and took good care of him.

This group of nurses and doctors are amazing!! I help rescue dogs who get dumped at my work, and I brought a sweet pittie here who had a broken back leg from being hit by a car. This team took amazing care of this little girl, eased my mind on her care, and they are just so nice. I hope I dont need to come here that often but I can rest easy knowing my fur friends are in their care.

I absolutely hate this place. I've been here 4 times the last two years. And all I've ever received was pain, heartbreak, sorrow, and depression. Although, they also took care of my dogs when I found out they were dying, and had to release them.

My dog went in to Phoenix Veterinary in critical condition. The staff, the techs, nurses and vet were wonderful. They began working with him immediately. Everything was handled with efficiency and they were extremely courteous. They explained everything, and went over all options. I would use them again if the need arises,
