This animal hospital has wonderful customer service. I was nervous about the visit due to it being curbside and my Apollo going in alone (he doesn't like people and will actively avoid them), but Apollo was a trooper. The staff at this hospital made Apollo feel comfortable and made me comfortable. The doctor made sure I knew where Apollo's injection sites were, and any side effects he might have from them. They treated Apollo not like an animal, but as his own being and I can't tell you how much I appreciate that. Your pet IS your family and North Central Animal Hospital understands that. Come to this animal hospital for your fur family needs; they know how to do it right.

Recommend this place ALL THE TIME! Great, kind, gentle, lovely people who obviously care about their work, the animals, the people. Just the kind you want to be taking care of your fur babies...or feather baby, or shelled baby, etc.

I wish I could give them zero stars. They gave my 3 month old puppy a vaccine on the same day that they diagnosed her with a bacterial infection in her throat. It nearly killed her. Not only were they a nightmare to deal with once I let them know what they did, they also misdiagnosed my dog and sent me home with a bunch of medications that didn’t even do anything for her. No wonder they offer a free exam if you give a good review on google. If you want to keep your pet safe and in good hands, I HIGHLY recommend going elsewhere. These people do not care about animals.

Highly recommend this place. They always do a follow call after every visit. The staff is kind and very knowledgeable on my puppy’s medication. I would give them 10 + stars

Good friendly service. Having most of the conversations in the parking lot (or small grass area) was different, but not really all that much different from standing in a cramped room.... Seemed to put the dog more at ease.

We took our small Timneh African Grey to Dr Frank because she was mutilating herself under her wings. Dr Frank said she'd put a collar on her. No one explained what it would look like on her or how it might affect Charlie, and wouldn't let me attend while the collar was being put on. A vet tech brought Charlie out to the parking lot and told me that Charlie tolerated the collar ok. The collar was bigger than Charlie and she would have been unable to feed herself. I believe that the collar would have killed her if left around her neck. It was like a person wearing a 20 lb weight around their neck. When I got Charlie into her cage at home she freaked out. We worked with a bird trainer and were able to resolve the mutilation by putting her on a good diet and ensuring she gets enough sleep.

Shots were reasonable. Exam and treatments very expensive. Showed up for my appointment on time, had to wait in my car for over 2 hours.

Kind and compassionate staff when dealing with my senior dog, especially with all these covid restrictions.. Professional diagnosis and options to alleviate the dogs pain and make what time we have left together manageable for me ... I would recommend Dr. Frank and the staff for your animal's long term care..

Today was our new puppy Joey trip to his doctor. We were so happy to see the doctor. Joey received great care by the nurses. They were quick and efficient. I wrote down everything that concerned me and they addressed every concern. Joey is in the best of care. We will see u in three weeks. Thank you for the great care. Joey thanks you as well . My cat Luna was not doing to good about two days ago. Gave North Central a call and they were able to help me same day! Now my cat is on a speedy recovery back to good health. They were amazing and very helpful with information for my cat. The employees working there were also very welcoming. Plus they seemed to care a lot for the animals coming through there doors! I give North Central Animal Hospital a 10/10 and will definitely be coming back.

Had to edit this, was a 5 star review. This is not the same place it was a few years ago, not only are the lower prices gone but many items are far more than other vets. They also demand a $71 doctors exam for any vaccines. Heartworm test alone is over $65. Its in a bad neighborhood and a run down building which is excused when they had affordable prices but now you might as well go to something closer that is much nicer, the prices are the same anyway. They told me the reason everything has doubled or tripled in price is Covid so they are making some serious bank right now and blaming Covid. Time for a new vet.

My experience with North Central Animal Hospital has been sensational. The staff is compassionate and very patient in answering questions. Their concern for my chickens is heartfelt. I will always be grateful for Alex, Charlene (sp.?) and Dr. Frank!!

One of the best exotic vets I’ve found in phoenix. They really do care about their job and the people, and patients. I felt my animal was well cared for and I felt safe leaving her there. I would highly recommend!

The only thing that could have made my experience better, is if there was no COVID. The whole waiting in the car "thing" (and wearing masks) is weird to me. Other than that, which is not your fault, you were very thorough, full of information, and treated Greta as if she was your own! Greta and I both appreciate you!

When I adopted my 13 year old rescue, I had to find a doctor for him, and the County Shelter recommended a number of places that would give me a free first visit. North Central Animal Hospital was the only place that would honor the free visit so we went there. And boy am I glad that we did!!! The receptionist who set up the appointment was awesome, thorough, funny and competent. I was very impressed with her but that was only the beginning. When my dog Remy and I showed up for our appointment, the first thing I noticed was a beautiful mural painted on the entire back wall of their parking lot, and the second thing I noticed was how extremely friendly the techs were who came out to greet us. But wait! It continues to get better. The doctor we saw (Ivy) and the tech who worked with us (Megan) were the best! They were both kind, gentle, intelligent and (again) thorough with their exam. Remy, being 13 years old and having lived a life of what we think is backyard breeding, had a few health issues that needed to be addressed. The follow-up the next day and for the next two days was phenomenal and unheard of. Megan actually called me after hours over the weekend to check on Remy. We do our follow-up visit next Thursday and neither Remy nor I are nervous about it. Going to North Central Animal Hospital was a "shot in the dark" but we found we found so much light there. I would recommend them highly except that the more customers they get, the harder it might be for Remy and me to get in. LOL! But after meeting the group, I think they'll work with us. They're just that good!!!!!! :)

Just want to thank the kind staff at North Central AH for their kindness. We unfortunately had to come in and euthanize our snake last week. Everyone was so patient and gentle with us in our time of need. They squeezed us into an emergency spot the morning after I called when 10 other hospitals couldn't see us for days if not weeks. We can't thank you guys enough for the hard work you continue to do through these unprecedented times. Thank you for being there for us when no one else was. Our little Ren is at peace now.

I have been visiting this office for over a year now and I can honestly say they are great! I love the texting feature. I am able to contact someone thru text and they are always responsive. My doggy is a nervous fella and they still work with him. I will continue to use their services.

I brought my 10 year old budgie to Dr. Frank after discovering a mass on his back. The staff was attentive and truly seemed to care for my pet. I got a follow up text the day after my appointment and the day after that they left me a voicemail asking how my pet was which was nice. The vet tec gave excellent advice and seemed super knowledgable on the diagnosis she gave. Another thing I enjoyed about my experience was that they worked with my budget and I felt no judgement. The only reason I gave 4 stars was because due to covid you can not enter the building and so my bird was away from me the entire appointment which was seemingly stressful for him. I was waiting at the vet for two hours I was informed that there were some emergencies that came in which was the reason for the long wait. Unfortunately for my bird he was stressed from being in his carrier for 2 hours with out me. He self mutilated quite badly and when we got him back he seemed disheveled and had a lot more wounds in his mass than he came in with. Overall it was a good experience my bird unfortunately just did not handle the new environment well.
