Words can’t describe my gratitude for the Dr. and his team. Saying bye to my doggy of 13 years was the worst feeling/experience ever but at least I am very thankful for the Dr and his assistant on being so patient and compassionate with my family and I. Amazing team!

Dr Fixler was fantastic - I was very much dreading the appointment but he was very compassionate and very straightforward and helped put me and my Sophie at ease - I highly recommend if you have to make the choice definitely contact Happy Endings In Home Pet Euthanasia

We have now had 2 beloved dogs euthanized by Dr. Fixler and his staff. Zulu, approximately 3 years ago and more recently, last week, Sayuri. During this difficult time Dr. Fixler and his staff could not have been more compassionate. I would highly recommend Happy Endings as a way to say goodbye to a beloved pet.

I can not say enough wonderful things about Dr Fixler and his team! They helped our Sashi, a large Akita, over the Rainbow Bridge a few years ago and it was the most compassionate and stress free experience I have ever had. Our big girl went peacefully. Fast forward to 1/4/22 when unexpectedly our 15 year old Chihuahua started not feeling well. He was taken to see our vet and bad news was given. Liver was failing. Advice was to let him go. I was desperately trying to find in home euthanasia that could possibly come that day since Happy Endings didn't have open hours on Wednesday. I had no luck. I just thought well let me use the email appt and maybe I can see what they have available. Not much later I got a reply email stating they could come the next day. I was SO RELIEVED!!! I didn't want our Poohbear to suffer any more as he was in pain. They are fantastic on communication, they are professional and are so very understanding and took time to answer all my questions. They never rushed me or made me feel they were in a hurry (and this was in the evening and they still had a good drive home). Poohbear went so peacefully and they were so respectful of him when leaving. I thank them from the bottom of my heart for helping us with our two beloved family members. If you are ever in this position and are in need of this service, please, please reach out to Happy Endings!

This was the first time we've had to make this hard decision. Our dog has been sick for awhile but recently took a turn for the worse. She was a sweet girl and we didn't want her to suffer anymore. Dr. Fixler and team were so empathetic, so understanding, so prompt, responsive and their energy was exactly what we needed. True professionals and our girl was at peace being snuggled. Thank you for making this experience a little easier to handle.

Happy Endings was so professional and compassionate from the start. We knew our baby girl's time with kidney failure was near and one night, she started declining... fast. We were actually about to go with a different vet but something felt off about them so last minute we emailed Happy Endings and I'm so glad I did. They got back to me within 30 mins. We had the euthanasia scheduled the next day and Alicia was so extremely kind and transparent about the whole procedure. It felt like talking with a friend. Dr. Fixler and his assistant Kelsey were absolutely amazing. He made sure we didn't rush the process and got to have every minute we wanted with our pup. It was heartbreaking and I know it's got to be hard watching people cry their eyes out but I'm glad we were able to do it in our own home in the most comfortable and humane way possible. Their care didn't stop there though, they hand delivered her ashes today with hearts all over the cardboard box and in it, was her beautiful urn with a paw print and poem <3 We thank you so much for giving her comfort before she went.

Today was the second time that I have used Happy Endings. Both times Dr. Fixler and his staff were very caring and very professional. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone who needs his services. He sat with us and talked about everything he was doing, and he vary caring while preforming his job.. Thank you again.

Our cat Vader was euthanized by these folks after 16 long years. There is a high level of compassion and professionalism: Dr. Fixler was calm, kind, and a real pro. He also went to vet school at the same place as my wife (Ross UVM). I would recommend them to anyone seeking a peaceful and humane way.

We cannot thank Dr. Michael and his technician enough as they made our final moments with our beloved dog so much easier. They are empathic, caring, professional, respectful, and sensitive. They treated Bosco with tenderness, respect, and care as we said good-bye to him in our arms. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

A few weeks ago, my family made the tough decision to put down our beloved dog, Oz. At 12 years of age, and with a chronic medical condition (diabetes), we knew it was time. Oz had extreme anxiety going to a vet's office and we didn't want him to be stressed in his final moments of life. We contacted Dr. Fixler at Happy Endings to provide him comfort from home as he crossed the rainbow bridge. Dr. Fixler and his assistant were so compassionate and understanding from the moment they arrived. They provided a blanket for him to lie on as Dr. Fixler examined Oz and reassured us that we were making the right decision. He gave us plenty of time to say our goodbyes, both as a group and individually, and provided us the space to do so. Once we were ready, Dr. Fixler wrapped Oz nicely in the blanket he was laying on and carried him gently outside. While life without Oz is incredibly different, we're happy Dr. Fixler was with us to go through this process. A week after our appointment we receive a poem with a copy of Oz's footprint (attached), a lovely reminder of a special little dog. Thank you Dr. Fixler and team at Happy Endings.

I was extremely impressed with sensitivity the Dr. and staff shared during this difficult time. They helped putting Dusty to sleep a very peaceful and loving process. We will miss him.

One never wants to go through putting their beloved pet to sleep but we could not have asked for a more peaceful experience. Dr. Fixler and his staff were empathetic and concerned for us. Our dog was not stressed (as she would have been if we had to get her in the car and take her to our vet) and our other dogs were able to say goodbye which helped with their grieving.

Dr. Fixler and the team were compassionate and professional during a very sad time. Every step of the process was explained on the phone as well as in person when they arrived. Nothing was rushed including the goodbyes. The courier service that returned the cremation two weeks later was respectful as well. Happy Endings came recommended from a friend and I hope I can in turn recommend to other pet parents. Worth the price.

Dr. Fixler is an incredibly kind, thoughtful, caring and compassionate vet. It was quite evident I wasn't ready for goodbye and wanted his assessment before making the big decision. He recommended we try meloxicam and see how my girl does - not a cure-all - but buys us more time. This is never easy - his approach, assessment and recommendation was thorough - looking forward to the additional time I am blessed to have with my girl. Thank you just doesn't seem adequate. I appreciate all the kindness and empathy you and your staff bestowed upon me when my emotions were erratic (at best). Thank you!

Dr. Michael and an assistant came to our house to peacefully send our Yorkie Emma to the Rainbow Bridge. We are animal lovers to the core; our dogs are family. Emma was treated just like that. I have had to take several of our dogs to our vet to be put down, and I could see the added stress it out on them. To be able to have a vet come to our hone, in a comfortable setting for Emma was immensely reassuring. The care and compassion exuded by Dr. Michael was immeasurable.

It was the very first time for me to go through this. And Dr. Fixler and his staff were amazing. It really couldn't have gone any better for such an unpleasant thing. I would absolutely recommend them and would use them again.

Dr. Fixler and his entire staff were kind and showed great care during the entire process from phone discussions to my Kiwi girl coming back home. If you are looking for a compassionate service to help your animal loved one, Happy Endings, Dr. Fixler, and team are the place to go.

Our family is grateful for Dr. Fixler and his assistant. In a difficult time for us they were supportive, gentle and kind. Dr. Fixler handled our baby Nala so gently and respectfully. It made all the difference in the world to say goodbye to an important member of our family with their presence, kindness at our home. Thank you!

When our friend, Mooshu, began to pass, our only concern was to make sure she went on in peace and without any pain. I was terrified that she would suffer, or feel scared in any way, and honestly, as painful as it was to see her go, I'm grateful to be able to say with certainly that we were the only ones to suffer her loss. With the help of the technicians, who were incredibly respectful and professional, we were able to lay her to rest in a way that I'm sure without their help would have been impossible. It would have broken me to see my friend feel any pain, but thankfully, she simply fell asleep and passed on to a wonderful new dream. So I cannot thank Happy Endings enough, and wish I could remember the names of the two who came, because what they do seems among the hardest professions I can imagine. Thank you for helping us in our time of need. You, and our little girl, will never be forgotten.

This doctor has been to our house twice now. We had two german shepherd sisters. The first past away about two years ago and the second just a few weeks ago. This service is worth every penny. To be able to have your pet go to sleep comfortably in their home with their family... its the best possible outcome in a sad situation. I highly recommend this doctor to anyone who has to go through this. Hats off to them for providing people with this service.

Our boy Tyson was 13 years old and had arthritis in one knee and the other knee we had done surgery on years ago but was also not good. He was struggling to get around. We knew it was time. Happy Endings was professional, let us take our time in saying goodbye to our sweet boy. Thank you so much for all your comfort during this emotional time.

Dr Fixler and his assistant Grace were Angels in a time when we needed them. Our Ronin was diagnosed with lymphoma and after about 3 weeks he was done fighting. We called and they came same day the best rates and they took Care Credit which a lot dont. They were the most caring. Compassionate and empathetic humans I have met. They were with us the whole way basically holding our hands through our Loss. I love these people so much for being amazing.

I would recommend Happy Endings for any pet mom / dad that knows the time has come to say goodbye to one of our furry family members. I have used them twice, unfortunately my cats were siblings and 17 years old and passed within 2 months of each other. It is the hardest and most compassionate thing we can do as pet parents when we know our pets are suffering. I held and loved both of them while I said goodbye. It was peaceful and I knew they were no longer in pain. Dr. FIxler and his staff, are compassionate and they know our pets and not just pets they are part of our families. I would recommend them to pet parents everywhere!

When my 14.5 year old Chloe Sue reached the point of very poor quality of life due to her constant coughing in spite of being on RX Heart meds for 8 years my daughter told me about Happy Endings. When I spoke to Michelle in the office it was obvious the amount of caring and love that they offer. They were able to provide Chloe with a peaceful and loving trip over the Rainbow Bridge. I am so grateful that I was able to provide this for Chloe without having to take her on that final scary trip to the Vets office. Wonderful people and the two people including Dr. Fixler and his assistant provided Chloe and I with a peaceful and loving end of her life.

Wow!! Choose these wonderful people to share your last moments with your canine family. We had to put our old Pitt down from heart failure. We were devastated and couldn’t bare to say goodbye in a cold sterile vets office as much as we love our vet. We didn’t want our other dogs to get confused and most importantly didn’t want Roxy our Beloved family member to know what happened or be scared. We searched around and found Happy Endings. This was our first in home euthanasia. No idea what to expect. They were absolutely the best choice. They were friendly and respectful and allowed us time to grieve and cry and hug our baby before during and after she passed away. They were kind with her and she whom I might add is terrified of strangers, didn’t even notice the IV placement. She knew they were good people. Better than nurses and doctor's for people even. They communicated tons and we knew what to expect. Roxy was delivered in the kindest packaging with her ashes in a beautiful wood box urn. Custom name and phrasing. A lovely letter and her paw print with the rainbow bridge poem, carefully packaged as well. It was as kind, thoughtful, tactful and and as warm as you could ask from beginning when you call, to the day your baby comes back if you choose to cremate. Great job Happy Endings! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for gracing us with such kindness. Your efforts made all the difference in the world. Sadly if our other fur babies ever need you, we will call you again without a second thought. You have a tough job and do it elegantly. We appreciate you.

Our cat, Mert, was going downhill fast. We called other in-home euthanasia companies that were unable to fit us into their schedule within a week. Happy Endings showed up about 3 hours later. The staff were so kind and gentle, even with our other kitties. I greatly appreciated the treatment we were shown during a very difficult time. I highly recommend this company. ❤

I highly recommend! Dr. Fixler and his staff were amazing. Very professional and all this during the current pandemic. All wore masks, gloves, etc so I felt very safe having them into my home despite the circumstances. My fur baby couldn’t have gone more peacefully. And their follow through was reassuring.

I have to say what an incredible group of people you are. This is of course an emotional time. Something some people have never had to do and you made it smooth, comforting and allowed us to start healing. …
