An absolute amazing vet! Our little pup Benny had double luxating patella surgery at Four Legged Friends and is doing amazing. The doctors and technicians at FLF are second to none. I absolutely love bringing our pup here and will be sad when he fully recovers, and not seeing them so much. Highly recommend!

Helped our doggie Bandit. Our vet at home never seemed to get to the root of Bandit's problem...allergies.

The best Vetrinary office in Arizona by a mile! Dr. Ferguson and her staff do a phenomenal job at making every visit enjoyable. If I had to I would drive 5 hours out of the way to make sure my dogs ended up at Four Legged Friends because I know they would get the best care possible there.

They have been wonderful with our dogs. So vets are courteous and compassionate. The office staff are awesome. Ashley and Brittany have been there over a decade and follow up to the visit to check on your pet. I especially appreciate ditching the curbside for full office experience to see first hand the care involved and communication right on the spot

Highly recommend. When I called to make an appointment I just knew I had called the right place. The receptionist was very helpful and caring. The doctor and her assistant were very gentle and loving to our dog Smokey. He was so happy to be there. When it was time for his bandage to come off they called to check up on how he was doing and to let us know to go ahead and remove the bandage.

This place is the best. I have been coming here for over 20 years...countless pets....rescues...I have known the Joy of bringing a new animal here for a check up and have been consoled when the tragic inevitability happens...the staff are wonderful and truly love animals....

My dogs are 12 years old, and it took me this long to find compassionate and trustworthy veterinary care. The doctors and staff are kind and knowledgable, and it is evident that the care provided to you and your pet is their top concern. I worked in veterinary pharmacy for a long time, and through professional interactions, it was obvious that this animal hospital was diligent about ensuring their patients received the best, most affordable care. After reading positive online reviews, I decided to bring my dogs here, and I'm so glad I did. It is a bit of a drive for me, but well worth it.

Very rude front desk staff. Called to make an appointment and was rushed through the process by a very un professional worker, then she just hung up the phone and I was scared to call back because she was so aggressive. If they can't manage a basic business process like reception, there is NO WAY I AM TRUSTING my animals to them.

When I found Dr. Bessemer, I knew I was done searching for a veterinarian in the valley. He is knowledgeable and caring, and he has always provided excellent treatment for my dogs. Whether it be for surgery, infection, or just a check- up, I know I’m going to get the highest level of care without the fear of being upsold on labs or procedures that aren't necessary. When I discovered that Dr. Bessemer had moved to a new clinic, Four Legged Friends became my new Vet Hospital. The staff is caring and friendly, and I would feel comfortable with any of their veterinarians providing care for my animals. I am so thankful to have this resource.

I could not get appointment for euthanasia of my beloved pet within several days. Our family has taken seversl pets to this office over the years. But they keep records for 3 years and dont remember us. One family pet currently their patient wasn't enough to get our foot in the door now. Very disappointed.

I am so frustrated with this practice! I have a puppy and older dog and have been there over 8 times. The care is so inconsistent. I see a different vet each time. They don’t let you inside. I get different answers from the different vets. They are always in a hurry and rush to grab my dogs and don’t let me ask my questions and want to charge $500 every time I come in for the same testing they already did. I don’t get the feeling some of the vets are even examining my dogs. They don’t call back with blood results or poop tests. I am annoyed I have to call and ask basic questions. My friend brings her dog here and said she goes inside every time and they spend time advising her on what to feed her puppy and vitamins etc. They tell me due to Covid, I have to wait in my car and ask the tech to ask the vet and get random answers that don’t always make sense and I have to call back and wait for simple responses. The only vet who seemed to care was Dr. Ferguson but she’s not available most of the time.

I have read some of the negative reviews regarding the front desk staff at Four Legged Friends and unfortunately they are true. We have been going to Four Legged Friends for several years. Our Maltese mix rescue had 2 surgeries by Dr Besemer for bladder stones in the last couple of years. We love Dr Besemer as he was always professional, compassionate and patient. In the last year we noticed curtness, rudeness & unprofessionalism from the front desk people. As a result of bladder stones our dog was put on a prescription diet - we would buy the prescription food from Four Legged Friends and when I would call to order it seemed they couldn't be bothered. One time I ordered food and two weeks later we were out of food and we had not received a call. When I called I spoke to Brittany and she about bit my head off saying they would call me when the food came in. At that point we switched to online ordering so we didn't have to deal with the constant rudeness every time we called. Another example, we rescued a kitten from an abandon building. We thought she had worms so called to get her in. Again, Brittany was extremely rude, couldn't be bothered and couldn't get us in for 3 days. We called another vet actually closer to home and they not only got us in later that day, but explained stuff to us - even got off the phone to ask the vet a question. Needless to say we canceled Four Legged Friends and took her to another vet that seemed to have compassion and actually cared what we were going through. As of late, our dog started showing symptoms of stones yet again. It started early Monday morning at 12:30am. My husband & I sat up with our dog all night trying to hold off until 7am when Four Legged Friends opened. The last time she had stones we had to take her to the ER so we were trying to avoid another $3000.00 before she even had the surgery. By 5am she had thrown up twice and now was foaming at the mouth although still awake with bright eyes was very uncomfortable so we took her to 1st Pet ER. At 5:30am 1st Pet took her vitals which were all good, but said the Dr on duty couldn't get to her for at least another hour so we were safe to take her to her vet that was very familiar with her issues. At 6:30am I called Four Legged Friends and Brittany answered the phone. She basically told me that no one would even look at her until later that day or even the next day. She was rude, unemphatic and had no desire to try to help us. We had no choice. but to leave her with 1st Pet ER. I called Brittany back and asked her to have Dr Besemer call me so I could share this horrible experience with him and let him know we would never be back as a result. While talking to Brittany she talked over me, didn't let me finish my sentences and hung up on me. Shortly, thereafter another rude person called me saying they are not an emergency clinic, but Dr Ferguson will try to fit her in.I explained we had already dropped her off at an ER based on Brittany telling me they would not help us. I also asked this person to have Dr Besemer call me because we would never come back. Between the 2 surgeries and all the prescription food we have purchased from Four Legged Friends we have spent thousand's of dollars. Dr Besemer has never called me. I am sure he never received the message. We put up with the rude and unprofessional staff in the past because we loved Dr Besemer. Unfortunately, after what we just experienced we are done. We own a small business so know how important customer service is. Front desk people are literally the gate keeper to your business. They are first person you speak to and usually the first person you see. Brittany clearly hates her job and would rather be anywhere else in the world.

I brought my cat, Henry, to Dr. Bessemer after a previous bad experience at another vet that resulted in the death of my 1 year old cat, River. The staff were prompt at getting Henry from my car, and I GREATLY appreciated Dr. Bessemer coming out to talk to me about Henry's wellness exam, and how he listened. Henry will be seeing the vets at Four Legged Friends from now on!

I've been bringing my pets since 2011 and I'll never go anywhere else. I'm always treated well, as are my pets, most importantly. The cost is reasonable and they've always worked with me. Love them

I am customer 1494 and I have been going to Four Legged Friends for years. I am not sure what Lisa is referring to but not only has the clinic and its employees been extremely helpful during this past year with all of the challenges we have all faced but they are always extremely polite and concerned about their patients. Brittany always gives me the best options in a professional way and returns the phone calls in a timely manner. This clinic is extremely busy and we are not always able to schedule a same day appointment, not unlike human doctors at this time. Please look at all of the great reviews and weigh them against someone who may have been having a bad day or who's expectations of what a general practitioner may be able to do on the drop of a dime may be totally out of line. This is the best veterinary clinic I have ever gone to in my 60+ years of having animals. I love the doctors and the staff
