I just want to thank the staff for being compassionate, professional and empathetic during our best girls final moments. Our Lab lived 13 long years and she finally let us know, without a doubt, that it was time to go. The decision was hard, but we trusted Ironwood Animal hospital to lead us in the right direction. We even took her in a few days prior and they let us know it might be best to end her suffering but they supported whatever decision we made. We took her home to give the new medicine doses one final shot but as we suspected, she was too far gone. Her last few days she kept showing us she was ready, so we spoiled and loved her and gave Ironwood a call and they got us in immediately and at our convenience. We are grateful that we listened to her and them. We miss our Lily tremendously but they helped her go peacefully and comfortably. Our girl wasn’t scared or anxious. She laid there peacefully during her last moments, surrounded by her pack, being loved on. . We were able to be part of the whole process. Two of our children were able to be there as well and the staff was so gentle and wonderful that the kids will never forget the experience, and although tremendously sad, they see it for what it is…It was beautiful and spiritual and everything our girl deserved. Thank you!

Got fast service by appointment and prices were not crazy or anything for my puppy's shots aand deworming stuff. Very convenient location off of the eastern side of Fry's Grocery.

The staff, vet techs, and doctors are hands down the kindest, caring, and most welcoming to me and my furry babies in the valley! They take good care and explain in detail what is going on and options. I would highly recommend this is to any one looking for a lifelong vet. I drive an hour to see them (well worth it) and my babies are also so happy before and after. Thank you, you guys!!! Terry and brandy are awesome techs and took good care of my dog! Thank you.

I had it with this place. I will take my two dogs elsewhere from now. My dog has a very bad leg and are do for surgery this month. She had a accident today making it worse and made her leg hurt really bad so I just needed some more painkillers for her and I called and they were going to call me back and I could pick it up on Friday. It didn't happen and now they are closed for the weekend.

we were so very pleasantly surprised when we walked into this office . we were new patients with our beautiful little 12 year old sheltie.and the staff and the vet could not have been kinder , patient. or more understanding.all of us including the furbaby were treated with the utmost respect. this office will now become our family vet and if anyone needs a new vet or is new to the area please note they are respecting face masking inside the office , the vets and office staff and just so loving to the animals. was very very impressed. on another note...this should never be about money when we love our furbabies...but i must say they are not money happy and try to push for unbnecessary tests. they deserve their 5 star rating. mrs m in florene az.

I had hoped to continue as a client as my dogs have received good care here. A shepherd I had with a flesh eating virus was successfully treated there. And a bull terrier of mine finished his parvo recovery there. However, since the business changed hands, though, my last two experiences have not been as good. A dog that had a check up in May was prescribed antibiotics. However, the vet forgot to put them in the bag and I was charged for them eventhough I did not receive them. On a more recent visit a tech urged me to get an unnecessary exam BEFORE the vet had seen her. I have asked to speak to the office manager but so far no follow through on her part. I am now in the market for a new veterinarian.

Change your name you are NOT AN ANIMAL HOSPITAL as it says. Hospital would imply emergency service and you are not. I am filing a complaint with the BBB and Pinal county requesting you remove hospital from your name. You are simply a veterinary office appt only and Nothing more.

Grateful for their ability to work us into the schedule on short notice. Followed-up the following day to make sure our pet was doing well.

Everyone there is very kind, knowledgeable, and they treat our dogs with empathy for whatever ailes them or us! =)

The people at ironwood animal hospital are amazing. I had to put my baby down last Monday. She had quickly declined in a week. My husband and I had called every single animal hospital we could call and everyone told us that they wouldn’t be able to help us until late afternoon or even until the next day. Although they were busy and we called day of to come in to do such a difficult procedure (for us) the people at ironwood allowed us to come in and not up charge us during an already hard time. They had options of cremating my baby or allowing us to take her home and to have a paw print to be done. They send the paw print in the mail with a card, which I appreciate. Highly recommend coming here for anything you need for your baby

My 15 year-old cat had just passed away in my arms the night prior. I was rather upset with his passing as you can imagine. .The lady at the Animal Hospital had a very kind demeanor which helped console me. Her name is Sia. I really appreciated her kind efforts. She was genuine. I felt much better after talking and making the necessary arrangements with her, Sia. . I was able to carry on with my day, thanks to Sia. Thank heavens your facility is located so close to where I live at Encanterra!

Because of the bad reviews of this place we decided to go to San Tan Animal Hospital where they have a 5 star rating even though we never had any problems at all the few times we came here. I will say that San Tan seemed to be better organized with billing, description of treatment, animal name & findings on receipts etc. but all we had to do is ask for better track of records & receipts & Ironwood kindly obliged. I do get annoyed with the front desk service at times where on more than a few ocassions I have been put on hold only to be asked if it's okay to receive a call back & no one ever calls back, but other than that they're always friendly & kind when we come here. We started bringing our puppies & dogs here again since last year & we don't really miss San Tan Animal Hospital at all, this place is closer to us, simple.

After trying to get an appointment for my dog with my regular vet, with no luck. I called Ironwood, they saw her the next day. I was very grateful to them. She had pancreatitis, they kept her for awhile but I didn't care because I knew she was in good hands. They kept me in the loop the whole time I was waiting (outside,due to Covid). She was feeling better by the time we got home. There were also many follow up calls to see how she is. They answered all my crazy questions, I'm an anxious pet owner!! They were all extremely compassionate. I just wish they weren't 25 minutes away from me. They really are the best!!

They always take care of my pug broozer and cat spooky with love and care.

My little Shih Tzu needed a surgical procedure. They seemed to take great care of her but were horrible in providing no written follow up instructions on wound care, medication administration, follow up appointments. Then I accidentally threw away my Shih Tzu's medications and immediately called the office for refills. I could not get them refilled within that day after calling 10.5 hours before they closed. So my poor little girl suffered from my mistake and there inability to fill 3 prescriptions in 10.5 hours. They are quick to get your money but slow to take care of their clients, both animal and human. I initially was so impressed and now am disheartened.

We've been working with Ironwood Animal Hospital since we brought our sick 10 week old puppy home in May. They were very thorough with the treatments to get our puppy well and now she's thriving, growing and full of energy. We like Ironwood Animal Hospital so much that we're now taking our new kitten to them as well.

I bring my two Dalmatians here (Aura and Mack) and they are always taken well care of and loved! Never really had an issue with them and always call me back. The staff is also always friendly and helpful.

I took my dog in a have is blood work done on Friday I called on Tuesday morning find out the results they told me they had lost his blood. Someone was supposed to call me back the next day that never happened I had to call them today is Thursday and I still have no results.

We adopted their office kitty a special needs kitty ,Ava for my daughter several years ago. Due to a special diet and seizures she had a hard time finding a home. THANK YOU TINA! This kitty has warmed my little girls heart in a way that cant be described and those who passed on adopting, think twice those special needs animals I think know and love you more for the adoption. We aren't wealthy and in a position to pay thousands for procedures. This team and Tina the manager in particular have been beyond outstanding. They have worked with us through the issues and been loving in a way rarely seen in today's corporate policy first world. Truly Ironwood Animal Hospital is a role model for conducting smart ,caring and compassionate business. We will go nowhere else with our furry loved ones.

We brought our Mini Schnauzer Maizy in to have an area on her side checked, they kept us informed via phone as to what was going on. Everything was explained to us about medication, and treatments. The staff was wonderful, and kind, very happy with our first time visit there !! Thanks again !! Susan Dahl

Great customer service and care. Always very helpful and clean

This place has changed hands several time (and we had bad experiences before) but as of 2019/2020, they are fabulous. During the Covid they just rose to the occasion and continued serving the community in such an orderly way. I love Dr. Funk but others there I’m getting to know. I was disappointed to read some of the crenation mixups and this is not acceptable. I hope this is corrected ASAP. Some of Tanya’s responses lacked and disappointing for a manager but we will still visit them but will be watchful.

Words cannot describe how much I really like this clinic. We’ve been going here for the past three years and they’ve been nothing but kind and helpful to our pets. I appreciate the lovely and respectful staff who are always cheerful and greet us with a warm smile. I completely and fully trust that they will treat my animals to the best of their abilities.

Everyone at Ironwood Animal Hospital was wonderful. A few weeks ago, we brought our boy in who was very very sick. They took the time to take him in as an emergency. Unfortunately we had to put our boy down. Everyone there was just so compassionate. Thank you for showing such kindness at a devastating time. Thank you to all at IAH!! We will definitely spread the word!

They got me in quickly and were so thoughtful and caring throughout the whole visit. I really appreciate all of the ladies who helped me and Hank today. You made a difficult time as positive as possible.

I love Dr Draper. She has cared for many of my animals. She shows compassion and caring for them as if they where her own. I trust her. Her knowledge and experience are why I take those I love to her.

1st they stayed open late on a Saturday to take in an old pit bull of mine; since then they have helped me raise 2 wonderfully healthy house mutts and a cat.

Great service as always!!! I have one happy dog now!!
