Amazing service and excellent groomers

Unfortunately, a single employee has spoiled the reputation of an entire business. We had a grooming scheduled for 11am for our two dogs. One a full haircut, one a trim. The appointment, which was originally made over the phone for which we had email confirmations for, was lost so they had to “squeeze us in”. While attempting to confirm our appointment, after numerous corrections, our dogs names still were repeated incorrectly (mouse repeated as moose). During the confirmation, we determined the length of the cut for our first dog and upon pickup, it became clear that they entered the wrong length and our dogs hair is now much shorter than agreed upon. This is not the groomers fault, they only did as instructed (which were the wrong instructions). Our other dog had one specific request to trim her ears which upon pickup was not completed. Another gripe is that while our original appointment was at 11, I called to ask when they would be ready at 1:10 and was told they would be ready in 1 hour 30 minutes. I called again at 2:40 and was told the other dog was just getting started and to come in at 3:20. Upon arrival, the second dog was still on the grooming table. Being unable to get things done throughout the day because I was told multiple different totally inaccurate pickup times is unacceptable. Every single issue I had would have been a non-issue if the receptionist would have stopped, listened, and communicated with the groomers and the customer (myself) accurately the first time. The groomers were fantastic they did exactly as instructed. Will not be returning so long as the face of the company is someone who is not interested in providing the services requested.

I want to share my experience today with Foothills Pet Resort- Ahwatukee. I had made an online appt for Chaser to get a bath at this place. I specifically said that we only wanted the bath & nail trim. Absolutely no cut because his coat isn't ready for that. I dropped him off at noon and let them know again no cutting and that this was our first experience at a groomers. They said he'd be ready at 2pm, I let them know I would be there about 2:30 after I pick up my daughter from school. We arrived and waited our turn to get our puppy. They brought out a larger Golden doodle puppy with no white on his chest, along with my dogs collar. I said- this isn't my dog, They then go back to find my dog. I can see the camera in the lobby and can tell instantly that something isn't right. They were talking back there for a few minutes on camera. He comes out and goes straight to the front desk computer. I follow him and ask him where my puppy was. He really didn't answer directly, I start getting upset and asking where is my dog. He wasn't quite sure but thinks Chaser was given to another family earlier. He had to pull up pictures to try and figure out where he was. He calls the other family and I wait extremely upset that my dog is no longer on their property. I ask to speak to the owner and I'm told that info is never given out. They told me this "rarely" happens. Rarely? No one from this place has even called to apologize or reach out in anyway. Not only did they send my baby home with another family, they also trimmed all his face hair off. I'm beyond livid. Please...research this place before you send your pets there.

Our dog has gone here for play dates & overnight stays ever since he was a puppy. So, 9 years now. Ace enjoys playing with other dogs & we love knowing he's at a safe place, enjoying his time with wonderful, animal-loving people, too!

We took our dog Max to Esther who works in their grooming salon! Clean, pleasant employees. And by far my favorite groomer! My dog loves Esther! Highly recommend!

Thank you to Peggy and Chase for making Paprika’s grooming experience amazing. I had taken my little corgi to a groomers near my home and was disappointed with their lack of care. No customer service and my dog was terrified to even step in, she even peed in the lobby because she was so scared! I was positive she wasn’t going to enjoy her time at the groomers when her first experience was so horrible but Peggy and Chase blew my expectations away! They were so friendly and the lobby is nice, clean, and calm. I love they they get one and one time with the groomer and Chase was informative on what my corgi needed, I trusted her completely. Planning to come back again with my other corgi!! They’re just that amazing!!

Yvette is the best dogstylist I've had. She is very patient and takes direction well. My dog's hair cut grows out nice and even. The staff are all very nice and the facility is clean. The owners support the local community. A very good business I am proud to support!

I have brought my boys here several times. Arturo the Groomer is Excellent! Ester is excellent! The bathers are wonderful and loving! But today was not good. I brought in my 2 small dogs for their 3rd Summer cuts. Peggy who runs the front desk squeezed my boys in and booked them with Chase, a groomer, to take care of their cuts. When I picked them up, they looked like they had been found on the side of the row after being groomed by a 12 year old blindfolded girl. My Laddie has burns around his eyes. He had uneven cut pieces all over and his toes were burned in between them. My Nicky had a huge chunk of hair chopped out of his neck and under his arms were bleeding from being cut to short. His toes were also bloody between them. I am devastated. I have posted pictures for your review. Be very specific when u drop off your dogs. Don’t leave your babies with a new Groomer that you have never tried with a picture and specific hair cutting directions. I was fully refunded but it doesn’t stop the pain and irritation my poor boys are in tonight.

Took my dog for a wash and received him smelling like urine. Even white coat on paws were yellow from urine stains.

I don't care to leave my dogs, but when necessary I go to Foothills. My dogs always come home happy and healthy.

My lab was pooped out from playing with his new friends..just moved here from NJ and was very pleased with their doggie day care!

The best, most loving, caring home away from home for our precious canine family member!! Our 7 year old German Shepherd has been going there since she was a puppy. We moved farther away since, and drive 45 minutes round trip because there is absolutely no place else we would leave her. She gets so excited knowing that she's going there and that makes it so much easier to have to leave her when we can't take her with us. The closer we get the more excited she gets, and she races to the door when we finally arrive! We even treat her to half day play dates just because she loves going there so much. If that doesn't speak for the excellence of Foothills Pet Resort I don't know what does! ????♥️????

We took our husky here to get washed and they trimmed her fur. We didn’t ask them to trim her. A Siberian Husky's coat doesn't need trimming, and what's more, cutting their hair can cause coat damage, So what kind of supposedly profession dog grooming company is this that doesn’t know not to trim a husky? The lady even admitted she wasn’t sure what to do so she just did it without bothering to call us for clarification. On top of that she gave us attitude about it when when asked about this when we picked up our dog .

They are very accommodating with appointments. Boarded my dog one time there and was very satisfied. My dog loves it there!

This place was the worst place we've ever taken our pup.. it was the worst experience. We live in New Mexico and figured this place would be awesome! They took off all our pups hair when I specifically told the groomer NOT to .. very dissapointed and will never return here

My puppy Koko was well taken care of. She was happy & healthy when I picked her up. The staff is VERY friendly and flexible on dates and times for drop offs & pick ups.

they’re honestly heartless towards the pets brought in): they’re screamed at, forced to sleep on cement, and all toys n blankets brought in for your pet are put away in a cubby. Disgusting. They’re neglectful & slightly abusive.

Do not bring your dogs to this place! They take care of the dogs terribly. They would yell and be abusive to the dogs!!

This place is Amazing. Best groomer in South Phoenix. We'll be taking both our dogs there from now on.
