Took my parakeet here for an inflamed eye. The care was absolutely amazing! April and Dr. Reed handled my budgie so well and were genuinely interested in his care and well-being. They ran a few different tests, explained everything incredibly well, and made sure I had what I needed when I left. I'm happy to bring him back for a follow-up.

I have a New Zealand white rabbit who has had eye issues on and off for years. He has extremely sensitive eyes and we have seen several vets. Dr. Reed is the only one who has been able to help us get his issues truly under control for the long term. Everyone on staff here is super friendly and they are always able to accommodate my bonded pair, even though only one bunny needs treatment. I would recommend if you have bunnies 10/10!

Someone you have working for your company is bad mouthing people who can't afford life saving vet care for their animals online. Maybe you should watch who you hire..

Eye Shine was the best decision I could have made. Dr. Reed really brings comfort. She takes time to inform and advise you. And her vet techs are wonderful as well. At a time where you feel unsure about your pet's heath, everyone at Eye Shine brings knowledge and peace.

Can't share enough how excited I am to see Aiden improve like this. He is getting back to his activities and enjoying his days again. Thank you so much.

They do not take new patients. Not even for an emergency to save a kittens eye.

After reading the reviews I called Eyeshine to make an appt for my cat that has ongoing eye infection issues. Lady who answered phone was pleasant, but told me they are not taking on new patients. When I asked why not, she said they only have one vet and are unable to keep up - even with their existing patients. She suggested that I call back in two months. No thanks, I need a vet that I can rely on.

Absolutely amazing staff! They truly care about your pets health! I would definitely recommend to friends and family for any eye care needs! I felt very educated about my dogs condition, the doctor was the best! I felt her passion for her career and felt very comfortable every step.

I’ve taken my dog, Stitch, here before when she was referred by her vet and I was very happy with the services! When Stitch began having different eye issues Recently and I noticed scary changes in her eye, Eyeshine vet office got her in right away and took very good care of my sweet girl and helped calm my nerves and emotions. They even decorated her e-collar which is going above and beyond! I will forever be grateful for Dr. Reed and the entire team!

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Reed. She has been so responsive and wonderful. I have been taking foster kittens to her for the past few months and would not hesitate at all to recommend friends to her in the future should they ever need an eye specialist.

If you have to take your animal to a specialty eye veterinarian, this is the place to go. It is always difficult for our animals to have illness, but eye issues are painful for the owner as well as the animal. Dr. Reed and her staff are the most thoughtful, cautious, kind and aware people in the business. This facility is state of the art, but most importantly, they are very aware that owners are hurting too. I witnessed an elderly gentleman bring in his dog for surgery. He was so worried he looked ill. The staff gave him and the dog comfort with exceptional human empathy, before taking the dog back for the dreaded surgery to remove it's eye. Amazingly compassionate! My dog had all kinds of unknown eye issues. With great gentleness, the staff and Dr. Reed put the dog through various tests and explained as they went along. Most importantly, they laid on the floor with him, gave him treats and loving reassurance during the whole procedure. Dr. Reed shared her diagnosis in a Reader's Digest level and used technology (iPad and a screen) to share her findings. This is the only way to understand complicated medical information. She is on top of it! On our follow-up visit, there was a bit of commotion in the office, as they had recovered two stray animals in the parking lot that morning. With joy for animals and care for the community, they corralled them, kept them safe, and found the owners. I got to see the reunion of dogs with owner and joy on the staffs faces for having accomplished an act of kindness! What a great staff! You will pay large sums of money at any specialty vet. Those are the rules. We as lovers of animals will pay it. Eyeshine Veterinary is the only place to go.

You will not find better veterinary care. My Great Dane puppy has been to see multiple vets for eye issues and Dr. Reed is by far the most knowledgable, understanding and compassionate vet we have been to. All of my concerns were addressed with explanations being straightforward and thoughtful. The tech staff were equally as exceptional, with a gentle and helpful approach. I highly recommend Eyeshine. We will return for all future needs.

I called this facility several weeks ago requesting information on fees. My dog is blind and I was told by the animal hospital off of cactus and 40th she has cataracts. The hospital referred me to another well established provider group, but their fees are astronomical. When I called Eyeshine Veterinary to inquire about the appointment I was told it was going to be $300. I'm fine with paying that fee IF I can have confirmation from the office that I would even be able to afford it. IF I spent $300 and the surgery cost was way out of my range I would have just lost $300 that could have contributed to my dog having her surgery faster and improving the quality of her short life. I feel the way I was treated and how "by the book" the receptionist was was inappropriate. I, more than anyone, understand the provider having rules to not wanting their staff to quote fees/diagnose over the phone whether it's because they don't want to lose the sale to a cheaper provider or to simply not mislead the patient, but I think some times exceptions can and should be made. I managed a very busy Scottsdale plastic surgeon's office for many years and we had the same blanket rule, but there are times when exceptions were made and it benefited both patient and provider. I also feel the receptionist who was short and stern with me should have some sensitivity training as the services the vet is providing is not for elective surgery, but medically necessary procedures which can greatly improve the quality of life for our loved ones. It's such a shame too because I read a lot of good reviews on this doctor and feel like my dog would be safe and well treated here.

I’ve been to different ophthalmologists prior to coming here and I wish I would have came here first! It can’t get any better than Eyeshine! No words can describe it. Go and you will feel it. WOW!

I am going to rave about this place. Not only were all the staff and doctor amazing with my cat, but they were just as compassionate and concerned about us. We had to get an appt based on an emergency but we weren't gouged on costs. I am most pleased with the care and follow up received by this Veterinarian. Thank you to ALL of you. I've often said a GREAT doctor employs a GREAT staff. This is VERY prominent here.

This place is a joke! Staff is pseudo-friendly because they overcharge the heck out of you and provide okay service. I was quoted a price and when I went in to pick up my dog the front desk girl told me it was “actually more”. I had to even file a complaint with the BBB to get any kind of clarity on why they overcharged me and the amount refunded. I’ve never spent so much money to have little to no results. My dog was given a short fluconazole round for a slight valley fever infection which I come to find out is supposed to be treated for up to a year, gave him 3 different eye drops that didn’t do anything, they also neglected to get medical records to my new primary veterinarian before my dog’s first appointment. Do NOT go here unless you have thousands to spend with no assurance it will help your pet! I would never go back.

Outstanding!! Dr Reed and her staff are absolutely wonderful. They have been treating our shih tzu Gigi’s dry eye condition. We cannot say enough great things about Eyeshine Veterinary. Personally, I would not trust or believe anything less than a perfect 5 star review when it comes to Dr Reed, there is no better eye specialist out there. You need to bring your pet to this place, they deserve it.

Friendly and competent staff with a welcoming and kind approach. Dr. Reed was knowledgeable and explained her diagnosis in understandable detail. Office is locally owned and the personal service they provide clearly distinguishes it from the quota-driven corporate competition. It was an exceptional experience.

Dr. Reed was awesome! not to mention her staff! They took their time explained all the options with our dog. We’d gone to the other pet Eye Doctor in the valley and we’re told We needed a $2500 procedure. Dr. Zoe mention We didn’t need to do that right away, And very likely not at all then gave us a few other options. She was extremely pleasant professional and you could tell genuinely cared about what she was doing. I’ve probably written three reviews in my entire life, but felt compelled after this great experience. This is the place to go :-)

Outstanding Ophthalmology Practice! My cat had a lifelong auto immune condition. He had been a patient of Eye Care for Animals for years and I had never been particularly happy with them as his ophthalmologist, but there were no other choices in Phoenix. Until now! Eyeshine Veterinary just opened a few months ago and I was so glad to find them. They are the only independent ophthalmologist in PHX. I can't tell you how much I would recommend Eyeshine. The staff is beyond kind and caring. Dr. Reed is passionate about her practice and about taking wonderful care of you and your pet. I was truly impressed right from the very first phone call to make an appointment. I would highly encourage you to make an appointment with Eyeshine. You won't be disappointed by the care you and your pet receive!

I took my dog to Dr. Reed for my dog's cataract issues. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed and like we had been clients there forever. Dr. Reed was thorough, professional and answered all of my questions about my dog's eyes. The staff was wonderful as well! I would highly recommend Eye Shine to anyone who needs a pet ophthalmologist! (And Riley got a spiffy pair of doggles)!
