The Furshire Peoria, Arizona

My dog absolutely loves this place! He seems so happy whenever he goes to the playroom! The staff have been extremely understanding of my schedule as a travel nurse and that speaks miles of how professional the staff are! Will definitely be back and would definitely recommend to others as well! Thank you for treating my dog like family! ????

Being new to the area I picked this place for my dogs stay based on recommendations. I wish I hadn't, upon arrival I had an off feeling about this place. I figured I was just nervous since it was my pups first stay and she has only ever gone to the same place before. Well next time I'll listen to my gut.. they took DAYS to get back to me. I called/texted asking for an update and couldn't get one. The last day of her stay there was an incident and we went to get her immediately. They changed their story and acted like it was no big deal. It was a mess. We definitely won't be back. Just happy my pup made it home safe.

They took great care of Titus and genuinely love animals. They also have a pool for the dogs who love to swim.

My dog Daisy is a very anxious dog and every time I left out of town I had to find a new place for her to stay. Every place I went to seemed to not care she was anxious and didn’t do anything to help her ease her nervous. The staff at The Furshire have exceeded beyond my expectations, they care for Daisy as if she was their own pet. The peace I feel when I go out of town knowing she is safe and cared for is incredible! I can tell they care for the animals under their care. Thank you Furshire!!!!!!

Django can be a handful at times but this staff never shied away from his personality. He loves going always excited to be there, I feel good dropping him off for play dates or extended stays.

We had a wonderful experience boarding our cat Princess! We felt secure with her staying at Furshire and that's important to us.

They took excellent care of our doggie, even with her anxiety issues. They helped her become more comfortable socializing, and we'll certainly be taking her back if we need to board her or just to have some fun with other dogs her size.

I am currently an employee and have been for a month or so, and I couldn't be happier being apart of such a wonderful place for your Furr Babies! To me, it's not just a job, I love being there! We keep everything very clean, like, my kinda clean, and everyone works together so well, communicates so we'll about each animal, and puts the animals and safety first! All the managemt is amazing with staff and all animals, the owner specifically is my Hero! She hand picks her staff with great care and really makes us the best we can be! Im grateful being apart her team! I personally love on as many furr babies as I can each day, because I have a huge heart and love giving them individual love and attention just as you would! ❤️we take tons of pics almost daily and communicate very well with families in regards to their pets and with each other regarding how each animal is doing daily and their needs. Constant water checks, potty breaks, play time, pool time, cleanliness check in the animals room,were on it,! I'm there,I know! There is nothing better than seeing a group of dogs swimming and running around together making new friends! The Furshire takes in ALL temproment of animals, animals with disabilities, meeting all individual needs including medications if needed. That's important to me, I love that. So, in conclusion, I personally trust the Furshire and recommend to anyone who wants a clean, loving, safe home for their babies, whether for daycare when your working, away for days or just wants to socialize your animal sometimes! There in excellent hands here!

I am new to Arizona and just got a puppy. I had a 10 day vacation scheduled and needed to find boarding for her. I was very apprehensive and toured 4 different options. I LOVED Furshire! They are very transparent and interact with your pup ALL day. The best part.. they do not nickel and dime you to death for "extra" care. They treat your pup as if they were their own. Gigi had a wonderful time swimming, playing with her friends and getting loving attention from the employees. I highly recommend The Furshire and drive 35 minutes for the great care. I don't feel like I am leaving her at "boarding" but at Girl Scout Camp!!!

I was visiting Arizona with my new 6 month old puppy and needed a place for my puppy to play during the day while I was sightseeing. The facility was a little off the highway, but it was so worth the drive after I already visited a couple other facilities which didn't take unaltered dogs or puppies, which my dog is both The atmosphere of the facility was extremely professional and the staff was wonderful and very knowledgeable of dog behavior. They have a huge pool and splash park that my puppy was able to swim in and they also helped her develop her social skills within the dog pack without even charging me extra for that service. The facility is extremely big and clean, I couldn't believe how clean and quiet it was for as many dogs as they had. There hours of operation are excellent with no restrictions which I couldn't find anywhere else. It was a gem in the desert to find and it made our weeks vacation stress less knowing I didn't have to worry about our dog. When we got back to the hotel in the evening, she was exhausted from all her play. Thank you Furshire, wish we could take you back East with us! I highly recommend the Furshire! We will be back!

Not sure how this facility has good reviews due to lack of care from management and staff. Boarded our golden for only two nights and had to be rushed to the urgent vet when we realized something was wrong. Before picking him up we called asking if they had time to give him a bath and the worker said that would be fine. We get there, the groomer had no idea our dog was there for boarding and assumed we would be dropping him off at the time we were told to pick him up, she seemed completely out of it and disorganized which was very unprofessional. As soon as our dog was brought out to us we could tell something was wrong. His eyes were full of green thick gunk & he was not his normal happy self. When we got home we noticed all 4 paws were raw and bloody, he was limping, would not eat/drink or even play. Called Furshire to discuss the matter and was told that the staff members noticed his paws that way and put a sign up to not let him play with the other dogs the night before we came to pick him up. We were NEVER notified our dog was injured or had any issues. Nor did management try to reimburse us for his stay or $500 vet bill due to their negligence. Instead they offered to have a credit with their company, as if we plan to bring our dog back to a place that couldn’t even contact us/give us a warning to let us know our pup was hurt.

This is where we take our dog whenever we vacation. The take goddess care of him and are reasonably priced. Much better than the others we have tried.

The Furshire was the cleanest, almost odor free pet care facility I have ever visited. First of all it is a huge place with cats separate from dogs and small dogs separate from large. Although there were many, many dogs there I heard little to no barking. The big dogs had just come in from the pool and were being returned to their separate "rooms" waiting for their dinner. Care for these animals is very regimented with special attention toward safety. I truly believe the owner cares more about the welfare of the animals than profits; which is very uncommon in this age. I would not hesitate to highly recommend The Furshire.

Very knowledgeable employees and friendly

I have a dog named Toa who has some problematic behaviors. He isn't fond of strangers, and normally has issues with not eating while being boarded. As a result, we don't often board him. The Furshire was able to take him in on short notice when my vet's boarding kennel refused him due to his behavior (on the morning of a flight my wife and I were taking to a different state to look at houses!). The Furshire has been very responsive to both Toa and our needs. They put our minds to rest, and he had a great time with them. We put him with them again during the time period we were moving out of state, and he was definitely well looked after during his time there. I would recommend the Furshire for any dog, problematic behaviors or not - they really are good at looking after your animal, no matter what challenges they may present!

Furshire took awesome care of my 5 dogs while I was out of town. One of which had just had a surgery. Super friendly and caring. I highly recommend Furshire for your pets.

It's a good safe atmosphere, each dog has their own good sized room for sleeping, a great big pool for outside play time too if desired. That all comes with a price so it is on the upper end for boarding.
