Michelle was awesome with my new bichon puppy.

When I first started going there two years back it was $45 for my large dogs now that they’ve gotten busy I do not believe they want to do large dogs anymore so they keep increasing my price, The price for my 65 and 90 pound dogs is $80 for a bath and brush! ( not including tip) Very expensive, Wow! Just tell me you want me to go away!????‍♀️

Too far to drive. I do not know anything about it, other than it's out in the Viscancia area.

Terrible service. The person who gave my cat should take a refresher course on grooming and cuts.

We are very disappointed in Coats and Tails. Often when we have scheduled appointments, our groomer has not even arrived to work yet and we have to wait long periods of time. Today we dropped our dog off at 8:30 am. Three hours later when we called, he was still not even started with the grooming process. They said it would be another 60-90 minutes. We did not receive a phone call telling us they had over-booked and he would be there 5 hours to be groomed. We had to pick him up early and no one even addressed the issue when we expressed our concerns. We would not recommend Coats and Tails for your pet.

Coat and tails is amazing! My dog actually loves his groomer and can't wait to see her. They are so accommodating and love animals. It's a happy place????

I brought Milou in to be groomed by Michelle and I’m so HAPPY to have have Milou reunited with her! She was his groomer many years ago at a different salon and unfortunately that salon was too long of a drive especially in the AZ heat. I just found out after walking in here that this is the same Michelle that groomed him years ago????. She is more th a groomer she has so much additional education, so MUCH knowledgeable so many years of experience and can transform dull dry coats/skin to looking healthier again! She is an amazing groomer/skincare specialist. She is a gift to my dog! Thank you for being so close to our home!

Convenient location, terrible service. I just got my Husky/heeler mixed pup back and he looks the same as when i took him in! Nails arent trimmed, still damp (they said he doesnt like the blower), the hair in his paws have not been cut back and is super overgrown, his ears weren’t cleaned at all, and I am STILL pulling handfuls of shedded fur off of him. I was quoted $60 for EVERYTHING and they literally bathed him and brushed him. I can do that at home for free. They charged an additional $15 because they had to “deshed him twice”. I would be ok with that if I didnt bring him home and immediately shake out a pile of fur onto my kitchen floor. Will definitely never be going back.

3/10/2020 Not too happy. I’ve taken both my pups there before and the younger guy did an awesome job but this morning...whoever did them Missed a lot of places when groomed on my Terrier mix. The lady said the cut I chose off their sample board was harmful for their fur but did it anyway without notifying me first. Said they didn’t do my Great Danes nails because he was too big and didn’t want anyone to get hurt...he’s been in before and never an issue. It was $115 for both...I left an 18% tip before I saw them...I wish I had seen the job they did before I paid. Ugh ???? It’s unfortunate that they now have lost my business...I prefer to support local businesses but not this place anymore! 3/12/2020 update Went back in and spoke with manager, Michelle. I explained my issue and showed her the terrible job done on my Terrier. I asked why I wasn’t told about the “HARMFUL” trim length before they proceeded. She handed me a pamphlet about the skin of the animals. If your establishment has concerns that need to be disclosed or discussed before services are done, well then!! Don’t tell me after the fact. I told her I was upset they went ahead with what they said was A HARMFUL cut without letting me know...her response “fair enough”. I asked why they had the options for trim if they are harmful...her response “fair enough “. She said number 10 they don’t do but is still an option? Then take that option off your board! Also I didn’t even choose the 10, I chose number 7. I was told by receptionist the price is a complete package so even if they only do 1 thing out of the package you still pay fully! My Great Dane got a bath for $60...$60!!! If I had known I was SOL because they didn’t do his nails, I didn’t need a haircut...I would have given him a bath at home! Michelle’s “fair enough” response to legit complaints is ridiculous!!!!!!! I will be reporting them for doing , what they call HARMFUL services to pets without disclosure to the pet owners!!

My dear cat fell in a paint pan and an hour before closing I contacted Coats and Tails. They had me come in 30 minutes after my call and stayed over an hour past their closing time combing paint out of my cats fur. The cat groomer didn't want to shave her in fear it wouldn't grow back properly. All employees and owner were extremely friendly and professional. The best experience I've had in a long time.

1. Scheduled 1 week in advance for quote of $45-$65 Grooming. 2. Dropped Molly off at Schedule Time 10:30am 3. Called at 12:30pm to check. They said she was drying off from the bath and it wouldn't be much longer. 4. Drove down at 1:30pm and asked to see Molly, when I was told they needed 30 min longer to finish. 5. I watched as an employee was removing her from a small cage in the back of the store where they claimed to be drying her. 6. Molly appeared to be bathed a fully dry. 7. I was told it would be $35 for the bath and dry. 8. I told them to Bill me and they said, "no charge thanks very much." 9. Dog was traumatized and whimpering when we left. 10. Bummer! I will not be returning!

This grooming salon is magical! I have a double coated corgi that is shedding like crazy! The bather did a de-shed brush out with some awesome conditioner and then they touched up her belly, feet, and fanny perfectly! They really care about the dog's health and happiness here. This is the best she has ever been groomed and came out completely happy and unstressed!

Erin does a great job grooming our long haired chihuahua. We have gone back to her for a year.

The ladies at coats and tails have been fantastic with our two dogs. They've been able to fit us in at the last minute, and the dogs always look great when they get home. The staff is friendly and the pups always come home happy.

Best place to get our dogs in for their mani/pedi's. But there is only one technician that does a great job with our two.

Both my doggies got their nails trimmed here. Friendly, fast service. Was happy with the pricing!

Just had my first grooming appointment here and we are very happy..priced reasonably too

PAID FOR SERVICES NOT RENDERED!!!! I refuse to give this grooming service a single star! BUT the site made me in order to submit my review :-( I am the owner of a ten-year-old (mini) shih tzu. I have brought my pet to this establishment twice, both times grooming was not done as requested. The second time I also brought my dog in for a full grooming session; shampoo, cut, dremmel nails, brush teeth, etc. My dog was only cut nothing else- however, I was charged full price. I called the next business day to follow up no explanation as to why that was done or why a special -branded shampoo was used on my dog without permission. With 'them' being the grooming specialists, one would think they knew the different requirements between pets with HAIR vs FUR! Shih Tzus have hair not fur! The business manager Mary informed me that she would care for my dog personally and take care of the situation directly. Due to her illness, she offered me another appointment within this same week that was to be an 'in and out' appointment. My assistant brought my dog in for her make- up appointment and was told it would an hour to leave her and come back- apparently Mary bailed on her 2nd promise to service my dog. Unfortunately this grooming service is one of the only in the area that I live in, North Peoria. However, I WILL go out of my way to find a decent groomer for next time with less regard to proximity but quality work instead. I don't like having to check up on a grooming service or check in to see they're using unapproved products my pet or anyone elses. All the while never asking or granting a refund for Services Not Rendered.

Great place to take your dog to get groomed. Ever since I took my husky there get bathed and his nails trimmed, I refuse to take him anywhere else. He always comes out feeling so soft and smelling so good. I can’t recommend this place enough. All the staff are super friendly and you can tell they truly love what they do.

Quick, good service; notably unfriendly staff.

My dogs love going here and so do I. It's so convenient that they are in Vistancia! They are always friendly, and fast. I have 2 poodles and they can get them both done in just a few hours.

Friendly and fairly priced. Will certainly go back monthly for the shampoo and nail trim for our chihuahua.

I absolutely love this place! I’ve taken my dogs there a couple times and after some horror events at Petsmart and Petco where my dogs became afraid of all grooming tools and cower when they would leave,I have been very hesitant about a groomer. The first time I picked up my dogs from coats and tails they were playing openly (not in a kennel), happy and very much loved the owner.

We just moved to the state and needed a new groomer. This place seemed like the last one we were at and gave it a try. I love it! Katy did a wonderful job with out shih tzu and also was very good about finding out what we wanted for him. I’m definitely returning for the next grooming. I’m so happy to have found this place. Thanks Katy!!
