Absolutely amazing. They are so so so wonderful. We brought our dog here in the middle of the night because he wasn’t feeling well and they took vitals and did a check up on up so so fast. The staff was quick to tackle the issues and was very kind. I would 1000% recommend coming here for all urgent vet services especially at night time. A true blessing! Thank you!

If I could go r this place a 0 star I would. They do not care about animals. They made us sit and wait for over an hour, no triage, nothing, we told them the puppy might have Parvo, then came and told us that they could not see the puppy. Do not bring your animal here if you care about them. Absolutely the worst place I have seen in my life.

We brought our cat here when he was having diarrhea. I like that they start with the least costly services and treatments first.

Let me start by saying this is a animal emergency facility so expect the price of the visit to reflect emergency services. I had an 8 week old puppy with the terrifying diagnosis of parvo. Thor was happy the day we brought him home and quickly went south the next day. We had several doctors attend to Thor during his 6 day hospital stay but one doctor when above beyond. Dr. Phillips was beyond helpful and put up with our crying and laughing until Thor was stable enough to come home. We are not completely out of the woods yet but the staff and doctors made this traumatic experience a lot easier to go thru. "Thank you so much for helping us during this time period" Thor P

The Vet and Vet techs are unbelievably compassionate and professional. My senior dog was very sick. I had gone to another hospital first. They were rude and wanted $2000 to even take my dog back. I brought my dog here they took her right back. If you need help with your pet bring them here.

This place only cares about $$$. Their receptionist initially mislead us that they are different from the "Emergency" section of the vet. When I arrived, I saw they are the exact same people!! They had us waste 3 days waiting for an appointment for sky-high emergency vet prices. Why??? I could have just brought him in on an emergency basis if I was going to be charged the same prices. My cat has a possible foreign object in his sinus/nose and is having trouble breathing. They wanted to charge me $3,900+ because they had a huge laundry list of unnecessary items to run up the bill instead of focusing on the nasal scope & flush to fix the problem. They charged us $191 just to speak with them. Don't go here unless you have a lot of money to waste. Now, I am out $191 and my cat is still sick with zero results!! They could care less about the cat's health, only dollars. I was ready to spend up to $1,500 but not $4,000! I let the vet that referred us know the situation. Not Good!

Today was a very hard day for our family. We had to put down our 13 year old Roxy. She got very sick overnight and on Sunday morning we began calling hospitals and vets and no one could see us. Canyon State listened to what was happening and invited us over. The care they provided was above and beyond. Thank you all for what you do! I 100% say best Vet experience I’ve had. Thank you again.

Had to bring out dog here after it was her time to leave us. They were very professional about it and even sent us a card afterward. Saints, is what I would call them.

I brought my dog here after I came home to find him having a seizure, which turned out to be multiple seizures; just one right after another. It was terrifying. I called on the way and the staff was there waiting with a gurney to take my boy in and try to get him stabilized. Not only did they save his life but they took such good care of him during the 1.5 days he was with them. They also explained everything to me, kept me updated on his progress, and were very open to answering my questions/informing me of potential outcomes. It is clear the staff genuinely care for the animals and I am so so thankful for the work they do. I hope to never HAVE to see them again, but if I do, I know my pup is in great hands.

This is is truly amazing they have cared for our dog Molly two times now each time they were so caring and compassionate the doctor and nurs took the time to explain in detail plus listened to our concerns and offered knowledgeable answers and comforting advice. Molly was treated more like a friend rather then an animal. I definitely recommend and if I ever need their services again I will turn. They abide by all the CDC regulations, to limit contact, when you arrive you call them then a staff member will come out to greet you and your pet while maintaining social distancing and wearing a face mask. This location is very easy to find with ample parking it is not off a busy main street so you get the feeling of privacy.

This is the place to go for canine dentistry. We visited the Peoria location. Clean office, new equipment, professional staff, outstanding doctors (Thank you, Dr Jucan!). After initial visit and diagnosis, we received a consultation and detailed care plan that included supporting photos and cost. After successful surgery, we received a detailed post op and care plan. Approximately one month later, we just had our last follow up visit. I am happy to report that our beloved dog Dezzi is once again pain-free, happy, and healthy.

I want to start off by thanking Canyon State Vet Services for taking care of my furbaby Precious in the last hour of her life. Everyone from the vet tech who was giving her oxygen to the vet who preformed CPR. It’s a week tomorrow since by baby girl crossed the rainbow bridge and while I’m comforted shes no longer in pain, there are few things I wish would have happened differently. First, I wish the vet would have been more willing to listen to what had worked for her in the past instead of saying she’s far past that now. I will be the first one to admit I don’t like hearing the truth especially on difficult issues, but to me that didn’t sit well and still doesn’t. Precious was diabetic since she was 11 and if I would have listened to my mobile vet that gave her the grim prognosis then, I would have lived my life everyday fearful it was our last. Thankfully, I didn’t. I listened to my intuition and did what I felt was right for her. Precious went on to live another 3 years and 2 months longer. I diligently gave her insulin every 12 hours, started making her homemade food when the prescription food was still keeping her numbers high, and gave her a multi vitamin and probiotic everyday. My point is that it would be nice if the vets listened to the owners more with what their experience is with their particular pet instead of having a one fits all treatment plan. Second, I’m disappointed in how much it cost me for being there less than an hour and not bringing my baby home. In fairness, Precious was obviously more sick than she was displaying. She stopped eating only the night before and didn’t start having difficulty breathing until 3 hours before I brought her in. I was thinking I would be given antibiotics and some pain meds and bring her home to her sisters. I had no idea this would happen. She was skin and bones at 4.4 lbs but had been that way for months. Was eating fine. Diabetes regulated. I believed she had an EPI issue and that is why she wasn’t able to convert the calories into storage. At any rate, as an owner of a business, I understand what the costs are to run a facility. The medical equipment to care for the animals, the staff to run the business, the lights, etc. I wish humanity would have taken precedence over charging the fees that were charged to me. The $495 fee is expensive enough let alone being charged for each and every incidental. Finally, I didn’t like having to call a week later to find out that I could pick up her ashes. I think when an owner loses something they love the last thing they should have to do is call. The office should be calling the owners the same day they receive them back from the cremation company. I’m sorry for the lengthy novel, but wanted to speak my truth not only on my behalf but more importantly my beloved chihuahua Precious aka Preshy 10-5-2006 to 3-9-2021. RIP my sweet angel.

I would give them a zero ! They kept delaying stitching up our dog after emphasizing how important it was that he get treatment. They gave excuse after excuse that for 12 hrs they kept having emergencies so our dog was put on hold. Of course, this is after they were paid ! Their supervisor Kylie was extremely rude & unprofessional. If their time commitments are going to change then we should have been notified. They said it was important that his wounds be treated but they did not do it, they only gave him meds to keep him comfortable and want applauds for that. DO NOT go to this location, try anywhere else first if you can.

Staff all seem kind, as well as Doc. After months of watching my pup limp around in pain, it's wonderful they gave us the least invasive option to start and it is working ♡ Thanks ladies!

We recently needed to take a stray cat we feed and water, who arrived at our home in clear distress, to an emergency vet. While Canyon State is not our regular vet, our vet referred us to them given Oliver's condition. I assumed full …

I am a veterinarian and my pet had a serious bleed during a risky tumor s It required a lot of blood and she was very critical post op. The staff did an amazing job caring for her. I will recommend them for all pets requiring emergency care wholeheartedly.
