Amazingly Professional! My boy Sam was suffering...and I didn't want him to be in ANY pain. I was afraid that the only way to be sure he wouldn't suffer (after surgery) with nerve pain...would to allow him to cross the Rainbow Bridge. The Surgical Team not only took a great deal of time and effort to explain each and every step he'd go through/what they would be doing, but kept me current through the surgerical process and my boys progress...in just about real-time! They even provided Sam "after hours" attention/care, and contact with me. Sam was feeling SO GOOD the next day, he was able to eat solid food...and hasn't stopped! Only 2 weeks later, Sam was trying to play with his toys again! (He had to learn how to hold them without any teeth...and still tries to give me love bites!) While the pain medication they sent home with him provided post-surgical comfort, which allowed for complete healing...it was the TYPE OF PROCEDURE, LEVEL OF QUALITY SURGICAL TECHNIQUE, & DEDICATION TO DETAILED CARE...to which EVERY TEAM MEMBER CONTRIBUTED...that I BELIEVE has ALLOWED Sam to be living a healthy, happy, playful, QUALITY life...free of pain...where he's COMPLETELY spoiled! Oh! Sam's just brought me his favorite string. If you'll excuse me...I'm off to play with my sweet furboy!

I was so so worried about my pet and every single staff member was so understanding and patient with me and I’ll forever be thankful for that! They check up on your pet and you and are there 100% of the way. I recommend 1000%!!

Hi this is Veronika Hall, our beloved cat Sparrow had dental surgery done (Full mouth extraction) on 12/14. He is doing really well thanks to the excellent care he recieved at AZ vet dental. Thank you so much Dr Coffman and Dr Nyquist for taking the extra time to explain every little detail about Sparrows surgery and helping me with the decision to go foreward with surgery. You both are the best. Everyone was beyond great. Special thanks to Maija and Stephanie who kept me updated while Sparrow was sedated. It really helped ease my anxiety. Thank you AZ vet dental for being the most wonderful, caring and welcoming place I have ever experienced!!

Our Kylo Ren suffered a mouth injury and needed surgery asap. I had called 6 other vets and was not able to get in anywhere for about a month. Due to the urgency I was able to get in quickly. The entire staff was so helpful and compassionate with our guy, he loved the attention. Dr.Magnolia was super knowledgeable and helped us to understand what the best decision for Kylo was. They also pointed us in the right direction to figure out finances as well! Highly recommend!

If your pet has a dental problem, feel very confident that the veterinarians at Arizona Veterinary Dental Specialists really are Specialists!!! My cat had Stomatitis and had to have her teeth removed. Bigger problem was the vet that removed them left 8 root tips in her mouth so she never got rid of Stomatis. Then I was told to take her to Arizona Veterinary Dental and we met Dr. Coffman. He is my kitty's SuperHero!! He told me everything he would do to her to give her a good life and he did! She is now a very playful, happy little kitty. Thank you, Dr. Coffman!

It was refreshing to enter this specialty clinic and be met with calmness which was reassuring for me and my pets. We did not feel that we were being rushed through. All of the staff and veterinarians took their time in ensuring that all my questions were answered thoroughly and they took time with my puppies - who had never been in a veterinary clinic as my mobile vet came to my house to vaccinate them. It was a fantastic experience.

We are incredibly thankful for Dr. Balke and all the staff at the Gilbert office for going above and beyond to care for our 11 week old Shih Tzu taken in with a broken jaw. Not only were they willing to take him in immediately to perform the surgery he needed but Dr. Balke followed up this evening to check on our little guy. After what felt like the longest and scariest 12hrs, their excellent care and compassion gave us the peace of mind we needed. Zayne couldn’t have been in better hands! ♥️????

Professional advice as to how to help our older cat. Our cat was treated very well and my husband was treated with respect as to decisions on how to treat Bear going forward.

We took our Shiba Inu mix to Az Vet because of periodontal disease. The cost is not cheap. The level of care is first-rate. Offices and equipment are new. Dr Jucan and staff were caring, professional, and pleasant at all times. Detailed exam and x-rays allowed us to understand and determine the best course of treatment. Doctor Jucan was able to minimize the number of extractions and help restore teeth that were in early stages of decay. I am very happy to report Dezzi is nearing the end of her post-op care and recovery and is doing exceptionally well, flashing her famous Shiba smile. We were given follow-up care instructions to maintain her health, and a follow-up appt to check progress, along with an annual cleaning to prevent a recurrence. I hope to never have to go through this again. If I do, this is the place to go!

This place is incredible! This was our first experience with AZ Veterinary Dental Specialists. They were able to quickly fit us into their schedule in order to check on our girl Autumn. The level of care and professionalism here is the best we’ve ever seen. We are so thankful to all the staff! They took the time to sit with us and explain everything in detail - the concerns with her teeth, a walkthrough of the procedure, explaining the X-rays - everything! We will definitely be taking our cats here for their dental care from here on out. Thank you again to Dr. Jucan and all staff who took such great care of our girl.

I recommend these guys to anyone who has a pet with dental needs. They literally saved my Bull Dog Taters life. We love them! I brought my boy Scout in to find out treatment options for 4 worn down canine teeth. Other vets could only pull his teeth which I did not want to do. My boy is a rescue and very fearful of people. They were able to accommodate his behavior and made him feel comfortable and were very compassionate throughout his visit. The staff is so friendly and the doctor we worked with was obviously very knowledgeable. They kept me updated all day on how he was doing. Scout had a little bit of issues during anesthesia but they are very well equipped to deal with it and monitored him continuously. He had 2 root canals and prepped for 4 crowns and did very well with the procedure. We go back in 2 weeks to get his crowns placed. I can't wait to see them. Im so happy I came here and am able to save his teeth. Well worth the money! Update: Scout has his crowns! It's so nice to see him playing again with no pain. And his new shiny smile looks great.

The Arizona Veterinary Dental Specialists did a really great job for us on our small Yorkshire Terrier. They were able to get us into their schedule because we had a dental emergency because we had a dental emergency. One thing that impressed me was their knowledge of the Yorkie teeth problems that occur because of their small jaw size. The doctor that we saw was very empathetic and actually cares about the animals he treats. They have great tools to look at the dogs teeth.  They have a top-of-the-line dental x-ray equipment along with excellent photographic equipment. Before they start treatment they show you what the problems are and how they can be corrected. We also had excellent post operative care including a follow up call the next day. They are expensive but they are worth every penny.

My 13 month old Shih Tzu, Collin, recently had his 3rd dental surgery since he was 4 months old. Dr. Wingo and all of the staff are wonderful and caring and provide the best care to their patients. They communicate the expected treatment and any necessary changes clearly and kept me posted throughout the procedure, letting me know when Collin was sedated, under anesthesia, and in recovery after the procedure. Dr. Wingo checked in that evening and the office called to see how Collin was doing the following day. In addition, they helped with an appeal when my insurance claim was denied. I highly recommend them.

Great place to take your pet's!

The entire staff was beyond compassionate and understanding of my concern and general worry for my fur baby. They were informative and kept me updated on the whole procedure and day. I wish human doctors and medical staff were as nice and considerate as this entire office was. Great at what they do!!

Dr. Wingo and his staff are amazing. Thorough, professional and informative. They listen and make sure they answer all your questions and address your concerns. Your pet is in the best hands.

World class experience. My little chihuahua needed a delicate extraction of his lower canines. He has a touchy heart. I know of no other place that can do this surgery. The cost is reasonable. Other vets turned him down. Had I known about this clinic, he would have all of his teeth. I am most grateful to correct his teeth and save what I can.

Dr. Jucan is AMAZING! What a blessing it was to have her for Harley's Doctor. I can not recommend her and the amazing team she has enough. Thank you so much for taking such great care of our boy. Dr. Jucan even called me on a holiday to check on Harley to make sure he was feeling better and that was so sweet. The day we brought Harley in for his surgery she told me " He will leave here feeling so much better" and He Did! The entire team was awesome and called, texted and emailed us the entire time. The details the team puts in to prepping and monitoring vitals is impeccable. Highly recommend coming here. We thank you so much!

Dr Wingo and the entire group were so kind, caring, professional, competent and efficient. It was such a reassuring experience at the time of a troubling diagnosis for my Anatolian Shepherd.

This is a fabulous place. They do very thorough dentals . They text you with updates, to let you know how your pet is doing ,all during the procedure. The Dr and staff are fabulous. I highly recommend this dr. I will always bring my pets there , as I am assured they will be in good hands.

We had to bring out 8 month old puppy for an unusual dental surgery to remove her teeth and four cysts. From the moment I walked in I was impressed with the staffs care and compassion . Dr Wingo explained everything that was going to happen in great detail. During her surgery I received texts to let me know when they started and she was ok. After surgery Dr. Wingo personally took the time to go through what he did how the monitored her and what to expect when we got home. He even texted me personally in the evening to check on her. I was truly impressed with the entire experience and all of the staff especially Dr. Wingo.

I have zero complaints about this place. My husband and I had brought our cat here this morning with an emergency trauma done to her mouth. Every staff member has been amazing, kind, compassionate, communicative, and brought a smile to our face during such a scary and stressful time. Thank you to the entire team. Soco thanks you all!

These guys are wonderful, and I would recommend their specialist service to anyone. I was seen at the Peoria location. I was especially impressed with the text message communication during Wren's entire day with them and the thoroughness of the discharge instructions when I picked her up. I even got a picture of her to take home and hang on my fridge :) My border collie had two fractured lower canines, and she got a root canal in one and a crown on the other. I feel confident with the quality of work performed and am very thankful for their expertise.

I took my cat here for what I thought would be routine dental work.They got us in right away when I called back saying I had noticed some changes to my cats symptoms from her original appointment. Dr. Jucan discovered a murmur during her pre exam. This was very unexpected news to me and the doctor showed such compassion while helping me try and process the information. She answered all my questions and made sure I had all the information to get my cat to the specialist where she was evaluated. Everything was ok after some testing, and we ended up doing her cleaning/work at the Scottsdale location closer to our home, but I am very grateful for the care we received here from Dr. Jucan and staff.

Staff was Friendly and listen to all my concerns with my pet. The office was clean and staff took many precautions to keep everyone including pets safe from airborne viruses

Took really good care of my old girl - I was terrified to put her under anesthesia. They did a great job and I could tell they really cared for her. I wouldn't think twice about going back again. I highly recommend them.
