We bring our dogs here for all of their needs. The staff remember my dogs by name and go out of their way to take great care of them.

If there were zero stars I would give it. I'm not sure actual veterinarians work here as I never saw one. I only was able to see a tech. The lived up to the negative I heard by doing unnecessary tests at high cost. Conjunctivitis and an ear infection cost more to diagnose and medicate that the surgery to spay at it took 10 hours for a drop off appt. Run as far from this place as possible.

Beyond frustrated. Had a scheduled appointment for a Monday but spoke with a staff member the previous Saturday to reschedule for the next Friday. The Monday appointment was cancelled but the Friday appointment was never rescheduled. We drive from Prescott and to be told, oh well... we can get you in next week, was not helpful at all. I don't blame the girl who was there Friday morning as it wasn’t her fault there was no appointment, but whoever was working November 20th at 5:20pm needs to actually make the appointments they are scheduling.

We've always had good care from the Banfield vets. We have their Wellness Program which works well for us. We are also with them because of being able to visit a Banfield vet anywhere and they have access to our dogs records. This has come in handy.

Dr. Nick is wonderful and caring for our puppy and us. He explained everything very thoroughly to us and was very reassuring. We have the most confidence in Dr. Nick.

worst experience ever! Employees were not helpful at all. it felt like they did not listen to a word I said. I talked to one of their door dash drivers outside And he said that they had him drive 10 miles total and no tip. Overall just a bad company do not go here!

They are good at what they do, but think of them more like a minute clinic at a CVS than a hospital. If your pet needs surgery or something major they'll most likely refer you somewhere else. For example, they'll do the x-rays to identify an object in a dog's bowels, but they can't do the surgery to remove it. They'll refer you to the local emergency hospital, which is by far the most expensive place for animal care in the entire valley. As long as you keep that in mind, they keep good records of vaccines and tests, and help remind you to keep them up (if you get on one of their plans, which I recommend for puppies and older dogs). I dislike how they present themselves as a hospital when they don't offer services I would expect a hospital to have, which is why I gave them 4 stars.

My dog needed 2 teeth pulled. they said before we do surgery we need to examine him. We went to the apt. Paid for the service. They said oh yes he needs his teeth pulled I’d go somewhere else bc it’s really expensive for us to do it. A few days later I called and said I dont mind going to you guys because I realllly liked the Dr. I scheduled his apt. During the same phone call I asked billing “how much will it cost just to get a heads up” she said she’s not sure but will call me back with answers. so that tells me either they don’t hardly pull teeth to not have a ruff estimate. Days go by no call, so I call them. She still doesn’t have a ruff estimate but will call me back same day. officially 2 weeks later still waiting.. like just tell me is it going to be $300 or $2,000. Just ANY ESTIMATE. I was so annoyed I made my Dogs apt elsewhere. I was kind enough to call and cancel my apt I told her nobody could give me the information I needed prior to the surgery or wouldn’t return my calls... so I booked somewhere else. Her beautiful response was, oh okay great!! With a smile on her face. I is great that I’m not going there bc they don’t take care of their customers. you’d think they would of been all over a high paying job. Their loss!

Banfield is amazing! Everytime I call to make an appointment for my dog they are great and attentive. Always makes us feel like our dogs are safe and well taken care of.

Apparently they rather wait until my k9 needs to have her teeth pulled than address the beginning stage of gum disease. Seems logical! Greedy and repulsive. Canceling the health/scam plan.

You call them and they refuse you. They lack customer service and they lack any knowledge of how to properly treat an animal. Banfield can't even patch up a cut on a dog. It's not a good vet and I recommend not going there because they'll most likely deny the appointment anyways.

I usually do not rate a business poorly but this hospital is not up to par. One time I made an appointment I called to verify it the appointment was not ever put on the books! Then I made another appointment girl called me to verify the appointment told I would be there . On the day of my appt my son took my dogs they claim someone called and told me that they were just doing emergency which was a total LIE!!!! I use to love bafield until I moved to Arizona. I'm going to try another one ..two strikes you are out!!!

I have had good luck here with the 3 dogs in our family. Staff and vets are helpful and friendly. The only downside is they can get very busy depending on when you go. Appts are required or advised. Early morning is best bet.

So I’ve always had EXCELLENT experiences with Banfield at Lake Pleasant. Doctors are great and always take care of my dogs. But whoever this Danielle is when I go to call to set up appointment, pay or just for whatever, she is absolutely RUDE! I’ve never felt so uncomfortable talking to someone in my life. My dog has a kennel cough and the emergency animal hospital said to set up an appointment with our primary vet right away after she was seen at the hospital. Danielle said they were completely booked and wouldn’t be able to see my dog until July 8th. I spoke to my mother about it and we agreed it was not soon enough. Our dog is 15 and needs to be seen by her doctor right away as the vet doc told us at the hospital. This time my mom called back to see if there was any way possible that our dog could be squeezed in somewhere sooner and Danielle yells rudely “I already spoke to you earlier! I already said we can’t fit her in anywhere! You need to be calling elsewhere, don’t call back again!” And hung up. I am utterly disgusted with her. She’s also taken my dog in before to the back to see the doc for a checkup and she was just extremely rude and straight up mean! I love Banfield and everyone at that PetSmart but this one lady is just making me never want to go back there again!! It’s happened multiple times already! We’re so upset.

Been takin' my pets here for years. This particular visit, we put down our amazing, sweet, smart, good looking dog. The staff was very kind and sympathetic. Always have good care here.

Update: after surgery yesterday I went to give puppy her pain medication and anti anxiety meds. The description and dosage on the bottles did not match. The medications had been put in the wrong bottles. I'm so lucky I decided to look up pictures of what each medicine was. Not too hard, one was a brown chewable the other hard white pill. Was told microchip was covered under their health plan when I purchased it. When I scheduled appointment for her spay I asked about doing the microchip was told yes we'll do it at same time, no mention of extra cost. I also asked if I needed to buy a cone for after surgery, was told oh no we'll give you one here, once again no mention that I'd have to pay extra for it. Very disappointed in all the Misleading and vague advertising both verbally and in there brochures. Also you pay for unlimited office visits but very difficult to get in when needed, even before COVID19.

We have been using this location for over 7 years. We love Dr. Knisely, he always goes above and beyond for all of our dogs. Our Great Dane loves everyone there, and we have never had an issue with customer service or scheduling an appointment. Thanks for taking such care of our babies!!

This is the worst Banfield you could take your pet to. I called to merely check in and I got a very rude receiptionist. I believe her name was Candy. Her tone was condescending and rude. My dog had a small nail issue and I just wanted them to take a look to make sure it wasn't infected. It takes 30 seconds max. They held my dog all day for 8 hours. They didn't even call me... When I went to pick him up because it was 20 minutes before closing they came to talk to me for five minutes while having me wait for ten minutes... I just wanted my dog at that point. It took them FIVE minutes to check him and give him to me. I should have gotten a call this morning. Or a call at all. Unbelievable.

My pet is anxious when going to the vet, brought in to get nails trimmed and vet couldn't handle a 20lb dog, she cut my dog and only trimmed one nail and still tried charging me
