I've been coming to this pet store for a few years because it's the closest to me. So after a while I've noticed non of the staff seems to know what they are selling! They don't have proper setups for some of their animals and I've seen a few snakes unproperly aged as well. I usually just come in for feeder mice but lately they never have the proper size I need and always charge me the highest price. I don't like causing a fuss but when I tried to talk to the girl about it she just got rude and refused to help me. I also came in a while back to buy two baby bearded dragons for my step son and was told it was a brand new shipment and needed to be monitored for 2 weeks. ok no big deal I gave them my number and asked to be notified the moment they were ready. Well they never called so I went in two weeks later and every one was sold. OK whatever no big deal, went to the pet shop on power rd and got one for a more expensive price. Oh well. I will not be returning to this pet store because I was informed today by the girl they don't sell the size feeders I need even though when I came in yesterday they said they would have a new shipment with the usual adult mice. So I wasted time and gas two days in a row and delayed feeding day for nothing. Hopefully I find a pet store where poeple actually care about animals.

At first, I wanted to give them five stars because they were very knowledgeable about hedgehogs and very nice but then three weeks later our beloved Rory is dead and my 14 year old daughter is devastated and feels that she was not a good mother. She did everything right, she kept Rory’s cage spotless fed her on time, kept her water full and clean and played with her anytime she was awake. Rory was so full of spunk she loved her wheel and running all over the place. Our daughter went to feed her at her regular time and noticed she wasn’t in a ball like usual and seems very lethargic and since the vet was not open late on Saturday night we quickly did some reading and thought maybe she was cold so it says to have skin to skin contact to warm her up so my daughter did that for a couple hours and she fell asleep (so we thought) and put her in her pouch and put a heat lamp on the cage to keep her warm. The next morning we went to check on her she was dead. After more reading, it says hedgehogs don’t just die they are sick for several weeks before they show symptoms so which would mean that she was sick when we got her. We called them and they said they only have a 48 hour health guarantee which is not what they told us when we bought her, the daughter told us it was a 6 months. I would take a replacement but my daughter is too upset and thinks she is not a good mom that she doesn’t want another hedgehog. So if this place was an upstanding business they would either refund the money for Rory and I will eat the cost of the cage and accessories even though we don’t have a use for it anymore or refund everything and I will bring back everything as clean as we bought it with an extra bag of food and I will change my negative review.

Looking for pet for kids for Christmas. Great place to go for exotics no cats or dogs in case you were wondering.

Fantastic family owned pet store! Very helpful and knowledgeable about bearded dragons. Never worry about any food or products I buy there as everything is good quality. They re-home reptiles which is such as awesome service and how my son found his sweet bearded dragon! We love this place.

Great place for exotic animals and their food!!

The selection of pets are numerous and they have a ton of exotic options. I am dinging a star because of the intense smell in the store that I have not experienced at other stores. They need to sanitize thoroughly to get that unpleasant smell out of the store.

I absolutely love this place. Every person I have talked to is knowledgeable and friendly. I get all of my feeders here and have gotten most of my tarantulas here. Cannot recommend them enough.

Favorite shop to get my feeders.

We've been in 1 time to visit and came home with a sucker fish. We enjoyed the variety of pets they have in the store and we loved the parrot that was talking to us. Our daughter got to take home one of the parrots lost feathers to and it made her day. Thank you guys for you excellent services and friendly staff.

Small business but mighty selection prices are so so average but you can always find something affordable and has the best selection for a store this size, I can't go here often but when I have the ability to I will always come to the store first for my animal needs.

The young lady that worked there was sweet and helpful. She helped my 7 year old pick out a couple of Goliath worms that she will be taking care of. The store was clean as was the the environments of all the creatures they had.

Found frogs that my granddaughter wanted

Do NOT buy crickets from here. I bought 5 dozen and when I got in the car and looked at them almost a dozen were already dead. Then fast forward the next day they are all almost dead, a few struggling to move left.

Nice pet shop very knowledgeable

Their staff are lying to their customers all the time. They might seem innocent and good talkers but they don’t have good intentions or true customer service. We have been coming to this store for about 2 months looking for cocktail bird but they are giving us the line of they are hand fed and they will be sold to n 3 weeks. And asked us to put our names on the list to call us back. First they never do and second if there other people ahead of us and they got the birds , why we weren’t pumped to the top for the next time?! And the staff had the audacity to laugh at us as if she enjoyed our disappointment when we confronted her and asked questions!! This employee should be fired for doing so period. ???????? ????

This is a small shop that has some reptiles for purchase. We go to Wildside Pets to get crickets and roaches for our bearded dragon. Their prices are great. Their staff is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

I’ve been coming here for crickets for a awhile . Usually I have no complaints but the last several times I feel like I’m getting ripped off . They never have the size I need anymore & they give me way less than I pay for . Today I wanted 6 dozen , but got maybe 3 give or take . This is their “mediums” . They were out of large again .
