We had A critical medical emergency with our dog right after Christmas, the veterinarian that took care of Ozzy was kind and compassionate in his care on Oz’s end of life journey. Our family appreciated this immensely on a very hard day. Thank you VCA

Our pug recently got spayed at a different location and we noticed she started to have spots of blood. Freaking out we called and spoke to a technician named Jackie. She was so sweet and listened to our concern. We sent pictures and she let us know she was okay but to follow up. So grateful to have people who cared and genuinely helped out of the kindness of their hearts. Thank you again so much!

Horrible experience, from horrible people, they don't care about your animal and only care about the money. I told them I could have money within 24 hours since it was Sunday and I couldn't just pull out 7000 at my bank so they charged me 300$ just to tell me I was right about my dog and that they won't do anything, they also held my dog hostage til I paid this or signed a promise note. Well my dog died shortly after that so idk why I would pay anything.

Took my Morkie there. They took forever to attend to us. Suggested that we euthanize him because he was suffering they say. Without knowing what is wrong with him. Took him to another clinic to get a second opinion. Second clinic did blood work told us he is healthy but he was having a seizure. Wow just to think if I had listened to these people. Well my baby is great now.

Took my little Kirby to emergency on Friday we couldn’t afford what they were askin and they said he is very sick if we can’t afford it we should put him to sleep I said nope I took him to another place helped me out and now he’s back to normal got diagnosed with seizures

Lucy my cat was suffering from a rectal.problem. My regular vet was not available. I called VCA emergency and they.were able to see Lucy. Dr. Kelly Moffat and Sam were great. Lucy is on her way to getting better. Wonderful care for my Lucy. Thank you.

We had to take our pup here a few nights ago with a leg injury and after traveling to another clinic who refused to see us because she was “stable” that office sent us to an office almost an hour away saying there would be “no wait” thank goodness we called because they had a 6 hr wait. So we risked it and drove here (the closest after hours care) they came to the car quickly (covid restrictions) got us checked in quick, a tech called us to go over the situation (again quickly) and someone came out to get her within 15 minutes. The other two offices (not the same company) were more worried about their wait times and not her injuries. VCA got her in right away. Obviously this is situational but we were not the only ones there and they explained it would be 3/4 hours but it didn’t feel like that with their great communication. The vet took a look and called us within 30 minutes to go over the plan. She explained everything wonderfully. Shortly after financial admin called us with the cost breakdown. We gave the okay and they started. We were able to go home for a little until we got the call to come back. Overall, GREAT communication. Extremely compassionate about our girl and excellent quality of care. I would drive the distance every time if need be (hopefully no more emergencies happen lol) just to go to this practice. I am so thankful for them and really could not be more appreciative for their communication, kindness, quickness, and compassion. 15/10 highly recommend.

Took my cat today and they did not close and latch the cage. When I walked out my cat flew out if the cage and tan off! No apolgy nothing! Yes they came out with nets to help catch him but it dud nit work. I had to drive into apt community behind thus place and search for my cat! Finally got him but we were right next to main riad! I will never take any animal to thus place and you should not either!

Brought our dog in today. My phone call was put on hold a couple of times once for over 15 min. On hold while waiting in a car! Rude. The they brought the dog out with no explination of what was going on. They are very expensive and not very professional. Will never go back. Ps the covid protocall is over. Real hospital with people dont act the way they do!

VCA Mesa Animal Hospital was very helpful during the unfortunate decline of our sweet kitten, Maple. Dr. Danner was especially responsive and helpful, and answered all of my questions whenever we spoke and never made our interactions feel rushed or like an inconvenience. It did take a long time for us to get some of the blood tests back for Maple, but I don't think VCA had total control over that delay, and I understand everyone is busy due to the pandemic. Thank you for the compassionate care, and for fighting for Maple with us.

I've had nothing but amazing interactions with this vets office. Everyone is so friendly and professional. They apply the best care to the pets, and are wonderful with handling the animals.

Low rating because unnecessary barriers to scheduling first appointment delays critical help. Before they would make an appointment, was told to download forms from the website that needed to be printed and scanned back with handwritten responses. No other options. Was also informed that the next available appointment was 3 months out. I called back to make an appointment. Was informed that my vet needed to call in a referral before an appointment could be scheduled and that the next available appointment was 3 months out.

The doctor and staff were professional sensitive and caring when we brought our sweet dog in when she was at the end of her life. Im so grateful they were there on Memorial Day when needed. Thanks from the bottom of my heart.

My visit was amazing! My cat needed medicine attention for some severe attention. It took awhile.. but she got the attention she needed and got the medical attention she needed at that time. The nurse ...dr were attentive and updated me when she got looked at and recommended treatments. A well run intstutution and CARING bunch! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place for an ER visit! ❤️

Absolutely terrible our dog died we had her cremated and ordered a second set of paw prints. they lost the first order tried to rectify by giving a me a refund for the second set otdered..I had to give my original back to them so they can make a copy and two weeks later when I picked up both I was not given the original but two paw prints that don't even look anything like the original..the first was very messy and Did not resemble a paw print my dog is a Great Pyrenees so it was much bigger covering the clay in the way it was laid out but i k now it was hers cause it was so big.. these are almost perfect prints i know this is not the original I called to question why I was not given the original that she said they're just the middleman and nothing they can do and I need to contact the crematory. If I knew I wasn't going to get my original back I wouldn't have wasted my time giving them the opportunity to fix their mistake.

For a Vet Clinic they are amazingly warm to clients. Every time we go for checkups my dogs get excited when we pull in, we always get the best recommendations for pet care!

Pretty quick service and very friendly. The cost is outrageous but I haven't been to too many places. $840 for x-rays, sedation,meds,and a splint.(broken leg,dog) if I want surgery 4,500.

Best place to take your animal!!! I got a rescue animal who had a lot of problems that I could not afford the hospital bill. they worked with me bit by bit step by step to get her healthy!!! I thank them so much!!!

Any VCA is terrible! Don't take your animal there this is a corporation not a vet send they are all about the money not your pet's health. Your pet will die using them!

Worst experience I’ve ever had. Called and spoke to multiple people that stayed they would do a courtesy euth for my hampster. After arriving and calling to let them know we were here and waiting 30 minutes. When we called them to ask how much longer they then said they don’t do them even though we were told by multiple people they do. Don’t come here. Waste of time and space

We are here visiting from Chicago with my pup, Ringo, for Spring Training. After about a week, Ringo developed diarrhea. It became worse. He was pooping every hour. Finally, after 4 days I called VCA Mesa. Leslie answered the phone and listened to my concerns. We brought Ringo in the next morning. Samantha, the Vet Tech, was awesome!! The Vet, Dr. Wiblin, examined Ringo thoroughly. She was kind and very patient, answering all my questions. She developed a treatment plan of med, probiatics and diet, Ringo had immediate relief! So thankful!
