I don’t think I’ve ever written a negative review about a veterinarian in my entire life. Unfortunately, the way I was treated at the power Road animal Hospital today was unacceptable. I was berated and talked down to as if I personally attacked a staff member. I openly wondered if maybe the black outfits and masks were scaring my dog. I think a little bit more empathy and understanding would have worked wonders. The bottom line is this, the cold and sterile check in approach along with the inability for the owner to be with his pet during an exam are important parts of being a dog owner. I am a pro active dog owner and responsible. Dragging my scared pup to a back room is not the bedside manner I appreciate. Then to be told that I’m attacking staff because I raised a concern about the trauma he’s experiencing getting his shots, shows a real inability to provide good customer service. Dogs are part of the family. Reading me the riot act for being concerned shows me this veterinarian practice needs work. If you didn’t want to treat my dog again you should have told me not to bring him back.

The staff is simply amazing! We have been coming here for years and have always had great experiences even in bad situations. Most recently, Dr. Brough has gone above and beyond to make sure our baby, Mia, is getting the best care possible as she is winning her fight with cancer. We cannot thank you enough!

Make it free. Just joking. At this moment I can’t think of how as you are at the absolute top. Everyone from the front desk, nurse/technician & Dr. Johnson are doing such an excellent job & especially during this pandemic. I had moved to the other side of Phoenix & when I did I transferred to a vet closer to my new home. Well...I am back with you. The whole experience with another dr/office was below sub-par. I want to thank everyone at PRAH for for doing all that they do. Thank you!

My hyper Italian Greyhound does not like to have her nails cut. I was prepared to have her sedated as we have tried everything else. The fabulous team at Power Road Animal Hospital calmly talked to Brandi (while muzzled) and gently cut her nails. Compassion and empathy go far above the rest. I love them.

It was almost impossible to do bloodwork on chloe and it was done by the greater power road veterinarian...and stitches on her looks very good ..job well done.. waiting on healing..thank you very much

We usually see Dr Landreth and we just love her so much. But since she was ill, we saw Dr Brough and he was absolutely wonderful. We've been coming to Power Road for...18 years? (Give or take) We've never had one complaint. The front office staff is friendly and efficient. The vet assistants as well. And our doggos (er, fur babies, if I'm honest) have always had top-notch care.

Dr Steven's was very thorough and his explanation easy to understand.

We have been taking our dog to power Road animal Hospital for 14 years and over the last two years their quality has imploded. The staff remains friendly but weights have been long, service has been frustrating, and the actual veterinarian it’s misleading at best. Multiple close friends have also stopped taking their animals there and now I know why. Recently I was lied to by the veterinarian telling me I didn’t need bloodwork for my dog and then received messaging telling me I had him bring him back in for bloodwork or medication would be discontinued. Brody is a 14-year-old frail lab who is blind and traumatized by trips in the car by the way. Then after trying to straighten it out with them they essentially denied that ever happened. I told them they left me no recourse other than to find a new veterinarian who was more ethical and they instantly told me they would send me his information and said goodbye. Unbelievable I haven’t had a business experience this bad in 35 years. Please don’t support them and don’t take your pets there’s.

1st Vanessa is very good in interfacing with people and definitely demonstrates that she loves and cares about the animals. We have a difficult pet (nickname Devil screamer)that needs her nails clipped and when won't allow them. Rather than giving up....they came up a solution to get her nails trimmed. That is dedication. Thank you to them very much!!

Took my kitty cat here for a spay. When I called they said they were scheduling out a couple weeks for surgery so we set our appointment and waited. When they sent the appointment reminder it was for a completely different time but We made it work. We got there and they say they had no surgery times available for that day and to come back tomorrow. They tried to do blood work but said our cat was too “wiggly” but still charged us for the visit. So we came back the next and the procedure took place. When it came time to pay we used our care credit card (that we got for this specifically) and they said the payment was declined and we had to call care credit before we could take our cat home. So I called care credit and they said there were no blocks on the account and there was no reason the payment would be declined. They advised to make sure the office was processing it as care credit instead of a credit card. When I informed the front desk they simply said we only have one way of processing and it’s declining and there’s nothing they could do . We ended up having to tack the $500+ charge onto another card. Meanwhile my care credit account has two pending transactions for $500+ from this clinic. I would never ever recommend this clinic…

Always professional and efficient. The technicians and the doctors wear matching professional scrubs and the building is modern and spotless. The attitudes and treatment are excellent.

Front Office Staff very helpful, the veterinarians are so good and have such great knowledge and the facility is very clean.

Every experience with this location has been wonderful. Each vet takes the time to explain everything they are doing and they really care. And thwy are so reasonably priced on their procedures and estimates. I highly recommend to anyone.
