Samy's Dog Grooming Henderson, Arizona

So two times my mother's dog has been to this groomer, both times ended in her dog being hurt. The first time his dew claw was cut off, and the second time his eye was extremely red as if he was being choked whole being groomed. When trying to address the issues that have been had with this groomer he was full of excuses and placing blame on the dog. I would do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

I give this place ZERO stars!!! My daughter called me to say that my dog was drug by her leash and put in the cage. She said to trim her down but not shave her and they shaved her anyway. When she walked in to pick her up, she saw them yank a piece of fur our of her head. He cut is terrible!! When my daughter called to speak to the owner about the service, he was rude on the phone telling her that dogs can be difficult to work with. UMMM OK! My dog is 15 years old and is the least difficult dog I have ever seen! Kids can be difficult to deal with, but it does not give anyone the right to drag them around and rip their hair out! I am seriously ticked OFF!!!

I've taken my 2 dachshunds here for about over 8 years now. Samy's has always had great prices and service usually on a walk-in basis during hours. I only had to do appointments for larger orders on the dogs on busy days usually, however, overall great experience and they will handle your pets well. I usually bring them in for nail trimming and a bath to get them clean and groomed. Each time they come back looking great.

I won't go anywhere else.

I took my miniature long haired dachshund in this morning for a haircut and for whatever reason he was shaved down and the hair on his ears was hacked terribly. I did not ask for this, nor was any explanation given when my husband picked him up. This was our second visit to Samy's, the first time they did a wonderful job so I don't know if there was a mistake made or what but I certainly don't appreciate having my small dog cut so short in winter without my permission.

They are quick and reasonable...however...my cats don't appreciate being surrounded by free roaming large dogs while being groomed.

Our small dog is afraid of anything that moves. When I picked her up she was running free with several other dogs and seemed happy. I like the atmosphere here and Samy does a good job Grooming.

Guy owns it is very RUDE!!

Came to make an appointment for a groom service and I ended leaving the the store. A male employee or owner always answer phone with bad attitude and in store had same or worse perspective of costumer service and bad personality. Definitely not coming back to this place ????

Owners attitude. 1) 1st visit nail trims. Wasn't done w dreamed. Paid for cut and dremmel.... 2)Called next time we visited Vegas and they said they would fix. 3) we are truckers and got called back over the road. Didn't get back in. 4) came back next time in town and owners refused to fix, Yelled somethings about dogs be dogs and refused our busines. We were paying customers wanting baths and cut and trim. His anger kissed off 60$-80$ in busines and made me me this post

I have not had issues been going there last 4 years both my dogs Yorkie and poodle always happy to take them there

Horribly rude. Over booked.. loose dogs everywhere. Poor attention to detail. No set pricing and easily offended if you mention something not done right. Owner takes it personal and yells

Poor customer service. Didn’t let me get a word in or explain anything. The girl in the front was so overwhelmed with the pups barking and the owner Sammy was so rude. I was ok with there suggestions but the rude customer service made me feel unsafe to leave my pup. Sure enough one of the pups that where ready for pick up got out and was running in the parking lot while the girl was running after it. What a mess! Don’t bring your pups here and risk them getting lost or run over.

Every time I come everyone just stands around looking and doesn’t speak. The guy in the front is always rude. I never recall needing an appointment but today he blew me off and said I’d have to wait till next week. Guess I’ll spend my money elsewhere. Customer service is always key.

Friendly personnel, very flexible for scheduling and my dog looked great when they were done!

I just called today on 6/18/21 to see if they had availability tomorrow and the guy who answered said around 11-12 so I asked how long would it approximately take? He responded with “ohhhhhh Nevermind, I gotta go and hung up.” Very unprofessional and rude.

Samy is a great groomer. Would not go any place else with my 2 fur babies!

I am very picky, was at my wit's end looking for somebody who doesn't just shave the dogs down like Petco who has a groomer who has "HER SIGNATURE" of only 1 bow on 1 ear (I'm not paying for her signature=give me 2 bows!) & PetSmart ... Not happy at all with either! Even at the vet the groomer was horrible! I heard about Samy's so I sent my husband with 2 dogs, not expecting a satisfactory result. I was so happy & have remained happy! Sometimes we get an occasional groomer who has done an angel or too long on the ears. However, our dogs look amazing! And their prices are reasonable. We've been going to them for about 7yrs now. Highly recommend Samy's They do cats too.

The more I kept going to this place, the better it got!! My dog and I are very happy with the final results lately. Thank you very much!!

Samy's is the only groomer to whom I'll bring My cat, Carrots. They have the best prices ($55 for lion cut with bath, nails, anal glands, and all), and they are fast. I find it best to call ahead to make sure what day seems least busy, then drop Carrots off as soon as they open, so that she's not nervous with a bunch of dogs around. They call a couple hours later, and she's all done! She's never been nicked, never come out looking messed up. Now that I no longer live in Henderson, I still drive to bring Carrots to Samy's.
