The entire staff was personable and friendly. The greated our pups and us with warm smiles and we were able to see the vet right away.

They took us in on short notice with a cat (Boots) that needed to be put down, after 6 other vets had no time, and they groomed beautifully our Aussie babe Kali and did so with kindness and care,. We are new to the Green Valley area and are happy to find our new vet that treats our babes as we wood and us with kindness! Thank you so much! Joanne and Norm Rose

Is it possible to give a negative 1. Most unprofessional veterinary services we’ve ever encountered. Our pet was subscribed a medication to be given every 12 hours for 14 day.an antibiotic. We didn’t count the pills in the office (guess we should have) on day five we realized we only had two pills left and we did not get the entire prescribed dose. We immediately took the prescription back to the store/vet and informed them of the miscount. The front counter staff were understanding but could not give us the remainder of medication missing as there was no veterinary staff on site. This morning we had an appointment for a second injection and brought up the issue of only receiving half of the prescribed dose. The vet tech was quite unprofessional (the one we actually saw on first visit) and ask us for proof of missing pills! She would only give us the missing pills. Since our pet had only been on a seven day regime when she was supposed to be on a 14 day regime with an entire week in between because veterinary staff was out and unavailable to complete the entire prescription(her symptoms came back because we couldn’t complete the entire 14 days). We ask for an new prescription restarting 14 day treatment. We were told no unless we paid another exam fee. Mind you we were there just 11 days prior! Same vet! Don’t subject your pets or your money to this establishment. You’ll be very very disappointed!

Wonderful friendly front desk and vet staff! Lots of pet foods and pet products available here. Great low fees on vet care for your pets. Will definitely be returning for future care of my pets.

The staff is friendly and very responsive! It was was easy to make an appointment and they answered all my questions. I returned to pick up a very happy pup. Def recommend!

Pretty disappointed after boarding my 2 dogs here for a week. Firstly, when I bring them in and struggling holding the leashes with my young kids and see multiple employees standing behind the counter, doing nothing, not offering a hand to take them to the back was not a great start at drop off. Secondly, despite them sharing a kennel they don’t do a real discount for the second dog like other places which to me is silly when they’re sharing a space. Also, I specifically asked for my dogs to be bathed on the last day so they wouldn’t smell coming home. I was told that was very doable and it would get done. They told me they close early at 1pm due to New Year’s Eve so just come later in the day to make sure they’re “fresh” for pick up. Well, we did as we were told and came around 1230. My husband gets them in the car and can tell they were not washed. He called and they not only charged us a late pick up (they never told us after 12pm was an additional charge just to come later) they didn’t bathe them. Very disappointed with the disorganization and lack of communication for the amount of money we spent here.

Our German Shepherd Luso loves going to Exceptional Pets. Everyone is so nice and he has fun playing with all the pups and employees. The price is great and we feel like he’s well loved and cared for there. Highly recommend!

Paid $75 to have our Samoyed given a bath. They called us in 1 5 hrs. He came out with his head still dirty. His body was soft, probably from some spray conditioner. 1/2 the knots were cut out, still several left. We washed him a week later at home and he cleaned right up. Other than brushing him and cutting out some knots in his fur, they only seemed to do half the job.

No overrated price for what was done! They were spot on with what I expected them to do and did not over charge. Glad I made this choice of switching to them. Thank-you to all that works at this vet!

I brought my 8 pound Morkie to the grooming department and I gave instructions to the intake person who wrote down what I wanted as to my dog’s haircut. I was clear that I wanted 1/2 to 1 inch trim. And the intake person stated that 1/2 inch shave is quite stylish this time of year. I clarified that I wanted only a trim not a shave. Called back and reminded the groomer’s desk that I wanted my dogs toes trimmed as well. I received a shaved dog to less than 1/2 inch length all over and and an extra spa expense of 15$ on top of a grooming fee of 45$. My dog has uneven hair on his legs, belly and back! I have used your groomers the past 3 years for my dog that passed in March. I now have a new dog. I was clear when speaking to intake person my dog is the same breed but not the same dog. I was assured that the information was changed in your system! I have no plans to return to your groomers unless I speak directly to the individual grooming my pet?

Staff is very helpful we use Exceptional pets for a lot of our pet needs.

They said they couldn't get the dog food I could buy at Petsmart

Brought my three Terrier mutes in for a shampoo and clip. I was very happy with the service, and way the girls looked.

Since they have become exceptional pets vaping very nice courteous help you the second you walk in the door and my little Molly always looks wonderful Great Haircuts take good care of her

We have been taking our yellow lab here for about a year or so. We've always had great service and caring technicians. We really like the remodel that was done on the facility. I don't have to walk Huck through the store to the grooming area.

I needed to board my dog for a couple days while I had an overnight procedure that turned into an unplanned week plus. Exceptional Pets were so agreeable to several extensions at last minute. The staff whether on phone contact or in person were very pleasant and accommodating and gave me updates how my furry friend was doing. He's home now and all is well.

The groomer was very uninterested in my complaint. She tried to say my dog acted up because she's old.. .my dog is 2 year's old. She didn't cut the legs at all. My dog is special needs, she paralyzed on her back legs and she wears a diaper because she doesn't know when she has to go. The groomer complained because she peed. All and all it was very disappointing. I don't think I'll be going back

I haven't boarded my dog yet, but I can tell you that Exceptional Pets is very thorough. Even had a 'meet and greet' with my dog. I have every confidence in the staff. I'll be able to enjoy my trip.

I was so happy that my two dogs were allowed a larger corner kennel together and were allowed play time out doors together. It was so handy to have them both groomed during their visit as well. So convenient. Thanks for taking such good care of my pets.

In the past they have been really helpful. Said this they do not appear to know how thick their walls are I could hear the doctor discussing my case and other patients cases by using profanity. Im hard of hearing They never called me of my dogs test results . 3 out of 5 times they are good and professional everybody has bad days .

My sweet bulldog was actually snappish with another dog when he was evaluated. This was not good news but they handled it in a way that protected both dogs and allowed them to have a good afternoon. I got full reports with pictures when I picked my dogs up. This is a safe and reliable place to keep your dogs.

Not happy with grooming. The groomer did not know how to do a schnauzer cut. It was awful!

I am very happy with the service I received. When I called they always answered and gave me updates on my "Lady". I will definitely use Exceptional Pets again. Thank you for taking care of my baby.

I have two dogs, one is hyper, the other is good. Everyone one at Exceptional Pets is always, friendly, smiling, professional, helpful, and polite. I appreciate everyone there, they are helping my dogs transition to a better boarding place.

Put my dog up for the weekend. He appears to have had a really great time. The staff is very nice and patient. I will definitely use for overnight boarding again. They took a picture and made a fridge magnet from it. Nice touch.

My Maltese had an appt. with Catie for grooming. He loves her and she did a great job. All the staff is friendly, courteous and helpful. We are very pleased with Exceptional Pets.
