Christine is a knowledgeable & caring associate. She did a wonderful job on cleaning our dog's teeth. Thank you! Mike & Connie Taylor

Every one of the vets and techs seem to care about our critters. They know what they’re doing medically — and don’t overcharge!

I’ve been taking my 3 dogs and 2 cats to Dr. Calhoun since I adopted my little herd and I absolutely adore her! Respectively, all of them love her as well. My dogs get excited when we sit outside of the Westside doors. Samantha, Kaya, and Ziva say hi. All of the techs are amazing as well. I always speak highly of Westside and will continue to bring my fur babies here. Thank you for all you do.

Dr. Calhoun is nothing short of amazing! She is empathetic, genuine, honest, and connected. I hope never to have to find another provider for my furry family members.

we were passing thru flag this last week and needed a vet for our senior maltese. i called this place to see if they could squeeze us in and the girl i spoke to was so rude. i understand that they were busy and couldnt work us in. but that second i confirmed that i was a new client her tone changed and she started treating me like i was stupid for even calling. thankfully a vet in the next town over was able to work us in.

Dr. Calhoun is AMAZING! The entire staff is amazing, actually. We took our new adoptee here because we didn't think that the Humane Society would test for and treat everything, nor would we expect them to as that is not their job in re-homing pets. I'm so glad we did! First, they do not make the dog get up on the scary table if not necessary. They do the exam on the floor with yummy treats and love - Wally doesn't like milkbones so they gave him a little cheez whiz and he didn't even feel his vaccines! Doc listened closely to where he was from and tested him for all the right things. Turned out he did test positive for another virus so she prescribed meds to make sure he doesn't start to show symptoms or get sick (be wary of tick-borne illness with dogs from the Valley! Very common). I really appreciate that proactive approach and I will always trust them because of that. They're extremely honest and don't push treatment that is not needed. Wally left with a pep in his step and 0 trauma at all because everyone here is just wonderful. Don't bother looking for another vet. Best freaking visit ever. Thank you team! <3 Oh -- and very affordable imo for the exam, shots and meds he received. That said, it's the job of the owner to budget for proper care.

After recently relocating from Sedona to Flagstaff, I needed to find a new regular vet for my 10 year old MinPin/Chihuahua, Emma. It didn't take long to discover Westside Veterinary Clinic and I was able to easily make an appointment as a new patient (well my dog at least lol) with about a 10 day wait. The visit went well and everyone involved was kind and professional (Chelsea was especially courteous, friendly, and pleasant!). Definitely recommended.

We have been going to Westside for a really long time and have always had a great experience. We recently had to euthanize our family dog and they were amazing in the kindness, and compassion they showed during that experience. Westside has some wonderful people who also are really good at what they do.

As a Munds Park resident on a fixed income, I found their pricing to be totally outrageous. I asked to speak to a manager and was told she wasn't in. I called back the following week and was told the same thing. I called back again a few days later and she still wasn't there. Does she ever work? Or was she avoiding me? We'll never know. If you're on a fixed income, go somewhere else. All these people care about is money, and the manager does not care at all about the customer experience. Very disappointing.

Loved this place when Dr Barnes ran the show. Now that Dr Jenny owns it, its gotten super low class. Everytime I call someone new answers the phone. Its like they can't keep there staff or something. Last time I was there meeka was super sweet but kind of dumb. The visit before that I saw chelsie and she was sooo judgmental about my cat. Kerry is always great tho and so is Angie. But I'm looking for a new vet now.

Very professional and friendly staff. Dr. Siess took great care of my pet and she took time to answer my questions and offer suggestions.

Westside Veterinary Clinic has been my family’s vet since we moved to Flagstaff in 2005. I have since moved to Phoenix, and I still make the drive up to see Dr. Siess at Westside Veterinary Clinic when my pets need to be put under for any reason. This clinic is the only place I trust with the health of my pets because they truly care for every animal and they always perform high quality work. Their pricing is very reasonable, and they always provide options if you are limited on funds. I cannot say enough good things about this clinic and the excellent staff, and I want to thank them for improving and saving the lives of my pets on multiple occasions!

All my fur babies had been to Canyon Pet Hospital. They diagnosed my cat with "facial paralysis" and said we needed to travel down to the valley to see a specialist. Oh, and not to mention that alone would be $3,000 right off the bat. Then I would have to bring him back after the specialist and do another "check-up" which would cost me 100+. Something didn't feel right when the doctor examined him. She barely even looked at him. Handed me a paper with neurologist information and left the room. No questions were answered and it didn't feel right. So I went to West Side Veterinary and had a 2nd opinion. Come to find out the medication they gave my cat he didn't even need! Over at WSV they diagnosed him with poor dental hygiene. His gums had gotten too inflamed and started to push on some nerves. So that would explain why he couldn't close his eye by himself. After the extractions only 1 week later my baby boy could move his left side again. It makes me furious that CPH knew this and did nothing nor said anything about it; they just wanted more money. I spent less at WSV then I did at CPH. Moral of the story. This vet is seriously THE BEST IN TOWN. I have now transferred all my babies and they treat them and me so wonderfully. I will ALWAYS recommend them to anyone! The doctors and techs know what they're doing and you can tell they love helping out your pet and want nothing more.

All of the choices listed apply to Westside Veterinary Clinic! I wouldn't take our 4 legged family member anywhere else! Thank you Westside!

My kitten ate a piece of one of her toys, and Westside Veterinary Clinic was able to schedule an emergency appointment for me that day. The vets were kind, courteous, and calming when I was stressed about my pet! They clearly explained options for treatment and provided accurate cost estimates.

Competent vet, friendly & helpful staff. Would be nice if vet tech introduced themselves. Have enjoyed their service for years & very consistently kind/focused on our pets. Thx!

Westside was very helpful, took really good care of my cat. He was neutered and by 5 pm was acting his normal self. All the staff were so friendly. Due to Covid, you drive up and call or text office, they come out and pick up you pet.

Our first visit and a new vet for our dog. With COVID precautions it could have been a very uncomfortable visit, but instead it was pleasant and ran very smoothly. The Vet Tech staff were very helpful and the vet spoke with us on the phone after the visit to give us detailed information and answer any questions. She voiced concerns about our pet's weight and offered suggestions to help. She also diagnosed a joint problem that has existed since we adopted our dog, but which had not been mentioned by previous vets and which answered questions we had about an occasional limping problem. Very glad we chose to come to Westside Veterinary Clinic.

They treated our dogs with respect and courtesy and love. Extremely professional, friendly and very courteous. When we had a question, it was no problem having Dr. Barnes call us or the receptionist finding the answer. Unfortunately, we lost both our dogs and they were very compassionate. When we get another dog, we'll definitely be using Westside.

Just had my first visit to Westside and it was so pleasant! Took my pup in for a routine checkup and vaccinations and both the technician and Dr.Calhoun were incredibly friendly and professional. I also appreciated the Covid-friendly measures they had in place! Oh and setting up the appointment was a breeze, they managed to get us seen within just a few days of first calling them (much to my surprise). All-around very pleased with my experience, this will definitely be our vet clinic of choice going forward :)
