Called in weeks ago to book my two dogs for Christmas. They quoted me a total of around $270 (I remember it seemed off). I hung up confused and called back to confirm. When confirmed, I said, "are you sure because $89 for 6 days is about $540?" They confirmed there was a 2 dog discount. So I booked. When I called back today, they quoted me the $540 which I have now not planned for. When I asked them to match the price they originally quoted me, they refused. Poor service, and not a professional way to handle things. Most places are now booked so I'm left with little to no options, one of which might be canceling my vacation. So upsetting. This has been a really terrible week.

Twyla LOVES Camp Bow Wow! Everyone is always super friendly and I know she is loved and well taken care of whenever I leave her. I was nervous the first couple times leaving her but everyone at Camp Bow Wow made me feel comfortable and took the time to talk to me and get to know Twyla. She loves going and has so much fun playing with her fur and human friends!

Staff members love my dogs and take care of them as their own. When I couldn’t find my fur babies on the cameras in the app the staff sent me pictures from their personal phones.

Dropped off my THREE precious babies this morning for their interview!!!! EVERY employee I interacted with were happy, kind, professional, loving and just so passionate!!! I apologize for not getting names, I was wrapped up in the personable loving vibe they were giving my pups and I!!!! My pups are my children and I feel relieved to know that they will be well taken care of when I have to go out of town!!!!!!!

I used to take my dog here often! Unfortunately, one of my good friends had an incident where her dog was bit and she was not notified until she brought him home and saw HOLES in his neck. She had to call in to then be notified that he had been bitten earlier in the morning and not one word was mentioned to her. They claimed to have watched over him but no one thought to call the owner and notify her of the incident and also said there were no marks on him. That is IMPOSSIBLE considering there are HOLES in his neck that are hard to miss. Even after this, they offer nothing in return. Just, “sorry”. Not a refund, not a gift card, not an offer to reimburse to take him to the vet just “sorry we were negligent in taking care of your animal. Deal with it.” ABSOLUTELY disappointing from this company since my family used to board our dog here for years. There is now no trust that they are capable of watching over my animal and ensuring her safety and they are taking no accountability. Do better, this could have been a lot worse.

I loved bringing my pup here so much! My boxer was a weekly regular at this Avondale location and all the employees loved to see him. Today when I picked my boy up from a full day of daycare everything was like usual. When I got him home and went to brush him down like always after a day there that’s when I saw a bite wound on the back of my dogs neck. When I called to inform them I spoke with a manager and was told the bite happened in the morning that day. I was never called or informed of the incident but it was apparently written down in the notes for the day. Due to the liability waiver that is signed before bringing your dogs there isn’t anything I can do. I understand the inherent risks of bringing your animal to a daycare facility. Bites to humans and other dogs aren’t completely avoidable. But I AM upset and disappointed with the lack of communication. If I hadn’t called to ask what happened they wouldn’t have informed me. My dog was bit in the morning within the first few hours of him being there and was there the rest of the day untreated. Anyone who knows dogs knows how infectious a dog bite can be. The fact that my pup wasn’t looked over after the incident for injuries and I wasn’t called to be informed of the incident is infuriating. I wouldn’t have came to bring my dog home immediately after a bite in order to seek veterinarian attention in case of an infection. I will not be bringing my dog back despite how much he enjoyed being there. This makes me worried how often dogs go unexamined when fights or tussles break out when they animals are suppose to be supervised the whole time.

Great staff and my dog really does love it there. I'm pretty sure she's remembered the route now and starts getting hyped as I'm driving.

The facility is clean and the staff are interactive with the dogs. There are great incentives to join the rewards club. The prices for passes, half days/all day, etc. are amazing. Pierogi is a street dog who had a previously rough life. He's getting integrated back into society with kind humans and animals. Camp Bowwow has been a good weekly social interaction for Pierogi!

I take my Boxer to Camp Bow Wow in Avondale, AZ. I like being able to watch dog play on the web. I feel trusted that Roxanne is in get care. She always comes home wore out. That tells me that she has played hard with the others.

We took our two heeler pups in for a temperament interview. They were supposed to be there for 3 hours. We went in to drop them off, and the first thing we noticed was the stench of urine all the way out on the sidewalk. Seriously, the odor is overwhelming in the entire facility. This was already concerning, but not a deal breaker to at least try the place out. We asked for a tour while we were there, and the receptionist gladly showed us around. We were surprised to see that all the kennels were set up in the same place as the play area, so any dog who didn't like to socialize quite as much (like our third dog that stayed at home that day) would never have any quiet time - we couldn't hear anything the girl was saying and had to go up to the front to ask her questions. The thing that stuck out to us the most was that it just looked incredibly dirty. The food prep/bath area looked really icky. We were unsure of what to do at this point, as they'd already taken our pups back and they were playing. We left to do the errand we had in the area, and were uncomfortable enough that we decided to pick them up early - we did not need to have them fulfill the temperament test, as we would not be taking them back. They did give us approval and a pass for temperament anyway. We were not going to address this, but both dogs have kennel cough, and this is the only place they could have gotten it from. They then brought it home and gave it to our other dog. I understand there is a chance this can happen at any facility/dog park/etc, but we have been taking dogs to daycare facilities for many years, and I've never seen somewhere so dirty or with such an intense odor - nevermind the fact that I've never had a dog get sick after leaving. Our dogs went in for a "free assessment" and a week later we have almost $300 in vet bills for exams and medication. The second star is only because the receptionist we spoke with the day of, as well as the manager I spoke with today, were really nice.

I am so grateful for Camp Bow Wow in Avondale for keeping our sweet boy Durango safe and healthy while we are away. I also love watching him on the cameras and knowing he's being taken care of. I don't worry anymore when we have to travel because I know our buddy has a place to go. Highly recommend!!!!

Mr. Wiggles loves it here so much. When he gets home he's so worn out that he goes straight to bed. As soon as we get down the street, he knows where we are and gets really excited. He's also lost weight from all the exercise he gets.

My dog loves this place! Camp Bow Wow makes sure your dog is well taken care of and I love checking up on him with the cams in each doggie room. It is such a relief to have a place for my dog to go when We are busy or going on vacation. And he really loves it.

I love all the workers at Camp Bow Wow. They care for dogs and they give all the dogs love and attention as their own. Heather, the owner is especially loving to my dog who she named "Mr. Nash". He gained all of their trusts quicker than I thought possible. I always feel confident when taking Nash to camp.

This was my first time ever using a doggy day camp, and the folks at Camp Bow Wow made me very comfortable by first getting to know my dogs before doing paperwork. Within about 5 minutes about 6 or so of the camp people came into the office to meet my dogs before taking them to a big dog yard. I was very apprehensive as my mastiff is a rescue with a troubled past, but she did great in the yard and 4 hours later still wanted to play. Both dogs were happy and tired when picked up - it was a wonderful experience all the way around for all of us. :)

It's like dropping our kiddos off with family! The staff is always excited to see them and knows our babies by name as soon as we walk in the door. Kiddos come home happy and tired. Plus I can peak in on them thru the day with the live camper cans. They have different runs by size and temperament. We have big dogs and CBW has a larger indoor outdoor run then most places offer. This has been our doggie day care home away from our kids for years. You can reserve online as well. Highly recommended!!!

Sierra, my happy camper, likes everything about Camp Bow Wow! The staffers are always so nice and greet her by name. Of course she has her favorites but loves all the attention she gets from everyone. Sierra goes to camp to get out a lot of the energy she has and her friends there are obliging, so her play dates at camp end with a very tired and satisfied big girl. She ends up sleeping the rest of the day and night. I love that the staff give her so much attention and all of them seem to really care about the dogs that go there. The different holiday and prom pictures are absolutely adorable and I show them to everyone. I don't think the dogs really understand the meaning but I know they enjoy all the attention they get from the staff! And....I'm sure the pet parents love getting the photos of their happy camper! I know I do! Susan, Sierra's adopted mom.
