Hold Fast Reptiles and Exotics Apache Junction, Arizona

I just bought a house and found a cell phone in the closet. I called hold fast reptiles and asked them if they could take the fish. When I walked in, there was a wallaby hopping around which was super cool. Nice owner and workers. I like this pet shop!

I felt like I needed to leave a review after I called to ask for a sugar glider. They don't carry them. But the man who answered was so kind and directed me on where I could find them with out me even asking and he was just super helpful and I just thought it rocked how much customer service he showed in a simple phone call

Went there as a new local shop to visit in the valley on 12/3 and was not disappointed!!! The man I was helped by was super informative on everything I asked him about, left with some isopods which I was so surprised they had the ones I was looking for and a scorpion lmao, all for a super awesome price!!! Will definitely be coming back as this seems it will be my new favorite shop

BEST REPTILE SPOT IN ALL OF AZ!! I CANNOT say enough good about this place! Declan was extremely knowledgeable when it came to questions asked, and has a gentle but amazing handle on the animals!! This isn’t just a reptile store, this is a reptile HOME for beautiful creatures. The animals here are VERY loved and cared for!! Will be returning, and cannot wait to see this store blossom into something huge and beautiful! Y’all DEFINITELY blow all the other reptile stores out of the water! To the owners, AMAZING JOB!! Horrible place twice bought snake from them had problems just bought blood python had infection and had snake mites from there store my blood python recent died only had it for almost three weeks they don't take care of there animals I will going back to predators reptiles where they actually have people that care and are knowledgeable

I love walking into this place. You never know what you're going to find. Today there was a cavy walking around. A German Shepherd following her everywhere she went and a beautiful macaw hanging out at the register. This is my happy place.

All around terrible experience. My daughter has been begging for a baby monkey for ages. Had to put my foot down and say no but her fifth birthday was coming up and who could refuse at that point? Came here and spent hundreds on a 40-gallon glass aquarium, wood chips, water bowl and plastic vine and heat lamp for a monkey. I set it all up in her room while she's at school so it will be a surprise when she gets home. Go back to the store and guess what? NO MONKEYS! What kind of exotic pet store doesn't have monkeys? The Willy Wonka looking guy told me they don't sell them. Excuse me but I thought I was in Arizona. Drove all over looking for a monkey and now my daughter is heartbroken. What a waste of time and money only to get a PC lecture about keeping primates. I plan to turn the glass tank into an aquarium and get her some lobsters instead. More money down the drain and still no monkey. You used to be able to buy squirrel monkeys cheap from Venezuela. Don't waste your time with this place!

Super fun place to go if you want to meet some interesting animals! They've got tons of snakes and other fun pets and they let you pet iguanas and tortoises and a large rabbit-like rodent called a mara!

We love Hold Fast!!! This store will always be our go to for anything and everything reptiles. We have bought all 4 of our babies from here and have received nothing but the best of customer service from Declan and Damon. They are super knowledgeable and will offer all necessary products for any pet to live a happy, healthy life. We always recommend this place to everyone! Hands down the best!!! This place is great! The employees are extremely helpful, even more extremely knowledgeable, and it's just a really great place to go to get reptiles, birds, turtles, snakes. They even have the fifth largest rodent I forget what it's called. They don't really like you going in and just using it as kind of a zoo so when you go make sure you buy something, which is understandable. But this is a really great place to go to get feeder insects They have scorpions they have tarantulas It's just awesome and if you don't live all that close it's worth the trip. Forgive the lack of punctuation and any type of I'm using voice to text.

Great reptile store. The staff are very knowledgeable, each time we go in my kid and I learn something new or get to meet a new animal. You can't not have a good experience in this place, the environment is very fun and upbeat. The staff always makes a point to greet you as you come in, making you feel welcomed the moment you step in the door. Not to mention the care the many animals get, their habitats and cages are always clean and set up very well.

My go to reptile supply store for our pet snake food. Not many stores have live mice but this place comes through for us every time. My kids love seeing the unique animals roaming the store. It's a fantastic local business worth supporting.

Got my newest gecko Bean from em! Sweet lil albino baby as far as I can tell. Very friendly people, wide variety of animals from basic to truly exotic. Great prices on tanks too, gonna grab a bigger one for Bean when I can since his is temporary for now and I'm unsure how big he'll get since it varies from what I've experienced owning leopard geckos! I'd love to get another leo from em but sadly I'll be moving cross country next year and already have other animals to haul. Love the dove, though he was in bad birdy jail when I got Bean and I could only say hello through the enclosure lol!
