My pup loves this place! Everyone there is super friendly and they take great care of my pup.

I love bringing my dog here but I tried to call to see if they were full and got hung up on after getting out on hold. I tried again and same thing. I came in anyway with my dog in hopes of dropping her off but they are full. If only I was able to talk to someone on the phone!

My dog loves coming here for daycare! The caregivers are so awesome there!! It makes a huge difference where you bring your pets because they are your family and that's exactly the way they treat your pets when you leave!! ????

Can't say enough good things about the Hound Lounge! Our rescue poodle Archie has been going for over 3 months now and he is so excited to get in the door he tries to jump out the car window when we arrive. (he can't because he is buckled in). The Dog Handlers are so wonderful with him! Highly recommend!!

Not only did they rescue my baby Star's momma, they take great care of Star during the day. The staff is helpful, friendly, and you can feel the love for all the dogs there!

As a past employee, I can attest to the unprofessionalism and favoritism prevalent in the staff, at the hands of the boss. Beth Prigge goes out of state at least once a month, which leaves her staff to deal with HER rescue business. Often, rescues won’t have fosters and will be left in boarding while she’s in Arizona living it up. Over the holidays, the rooms were so full with board dogs and her own dogs that large breed rescues were put in small, top rooms meant to accommodate dogs under fifty pounds. I would not bring my dogs here.

Update: Alaska Bully Rescue and The Hound Lounge have since parted ways. I am still in contact with ABR, but not The Hound Lounge. My interactions with The Hound Lounge have not been great. I asked about fostering one of their pups and they didn't respond and then deleted my post. There was no reason for this behavior. Still recommend ABR though. I rescued my puppy from Alaska Bully Rescue and they use The Hound Lounge. All of the employees are helpful, especially Lisa. The dogs seem well cared for and the place is clean. I recommend for rescue as well as doggie daycare.

Loved our experience. We called and were able to schedule a same day temperament test so our pup could have a doggie play date instead of having to stay in the hotel in his kennel. They were super sweet, helpful and he had a great time. They even had Frontline on hand for him to ensure that he wouldn't come home with any "extra" friends. This place is fantastic and we'll definitely be using them again on our next visit down from Fairbanks!

We got our dog there. They have a lot of dogs up for adoption.

A friend of mine fostered to adopt from this company. The puppy happened to get out or someone stole her. 3 women came to her home and harassed her and blamed her for the puppy going missing. Beth has continued to blame this family. She has even gone as far as posting her foster application on Facebook that has her full name, birthdate, and address on it. Any time someone calls her out on FB she deletes it. I have all the screenshots. Dont do foster business with this company. ????

I have adopted a wonderful little boy dog from this facility and received no vaccination papers or anything on the dog. I still paid my $250 adoption fee and took him home. My other dog already had an appt schedule with the vet the following weekend so I just brought the little guy in and got him a check up. I was told at the hound lounge that he was fully vetted and dewormed. My vet took precautions anyways and tested him for heart worms and dewormed him again. The very next day after the dewormer my new adopted dog was pooping out parasites left and right. I would not board any dogs with this facility or adopt from there again. They are obviously lying about doing anything for the dogs here.

Dont ever go here. I was told they had my dog, they posted on fb saying they found her. I contacted the owner and she told me she had her. She refused to give her up without proof of ownership. My friend called her and told her to meet at Hound Lounge because we told her cops were getting involved and I just wanted my dog back. She agreed to meet up. When we get there, shes not there. Her employees gave different stories and had the nerve to yell at us, quick and defensively, telling us there was no dog. From she was on vacation in Arizona to she just dropped the dog off at Animal Control, knowing I was coming for her with the cops. I dont know if she really had her or if she had someone else hold onto her but I was told the owner had her and that is who I spoke with. Thanks to her, I can no longer see her again. I spent 5 hours trying to get her back, filed a report, and I had to give up my ownership. Hope she's happy. She was extremely rude when I called her telling her it was my dog as well. Very rude staff, the male at least. I thought about calling Better Business Bureau as well. All I wanted was my dog back.

Neat place, dropping off a friends pup.

This place is great for my pup! He is much more confident with other dogs after a while here, and comes home tired every night! Great for people that work and have high energy dogs.

Closed down on the week-end, hard to ascertain information about the place. Wouldn't consider leaving the pooch here.

I am coming from a place of constructive critisicm. They have a very very young staff who honestly do not have a clue. They sit on the couches and text when larger dogs are overpowering smaller dogs. They don’t separate smaller or large dogs and poor small dogs are scared as anything in the corner shivering. I know that they are trying to do good, but they do not separate the dogs that are aggressive vs small docile dogs. It is something that should be fixed. Also, several dogs I have known have gotten kennel cough from here and have been in a lot of agony. I don’t recommend taking your dog here until they have their act together.

Such great staff, flexible hours, and my pooches always come home tired from a day of play!

Great staff and very nice facility

I cannot tell you how impressed I am with this place. From the first time I walked in there I knew the staff loved my baby the way I do. The place is spotless. I don't know how my puppy smells better when I pick him up then when I drop him off! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for an awesome daycare, with an amazing staff and beautiful facility. Oakley gives it 5 stars also!!!

Beth, the owner of the Hound Lounge was amazing. Beth and her wonderful staff helped me out late at night in an emergency situation and went above and beyond. I would highly recommend the Hound Lounge.
