My Yorkie is a nervous wreck at the groomers and can be a cry baby when I drop him off. Poshy Paws worked their magic and he did so good! Happy I finally found a place that is welcoming, understanding, and take their time. For pups that hate being kenneled like mine and vocal, I love the little open area.

Love the employees and work they provide

We have been taking our dogs here for a year and have been getting they're fur cut by the same girl, makayla. No issues at all with her. This last time our Stanford was cut by someone different, the owner. After about a week the fur around his male part had gotten so irritated that it may be infected from him licking it. Upon further inspection there is no way possible that the way they shaved his male part is The same way they shaved our other dogs male part. The grow out length is not the same, she most likely shaved it bald. And now that it's growing back, it's irritated. When confronted on this issue, she tried to shift the blame on anyone and everyone other than herself. To include us for not brushing him enough, he is brushed 2-3 times a week. His board and train for keeping him in a kennel all day, he is out all day training. And she publicly slandered a new locally owned business by saying the diapers they wear there caused it. He has not been to this business yet, he's been I'm training since it opened. Basically refusing to accept any responsibility at all and treated my wife like a child by speaking over her and not letting her get a word out. Well at the very least you lost 2 dogs that need to be groomed at least every 4-8 weeks. DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL.

What a fantastic pet spa! The owner and employees are so great with all the dogs and take the cutest pictures to share on FB! It always makes me happy to see them all groomed up and smiling on my feed. Thanks so much for such a creative, safe, and professional spa. Keep up the awesome work!

My dogs get groomed every four weeks and they always come home happy. My yorkie can be kind of difficult to work with but she comes home with a finished haircut that fits her spunky attitude. My bigger pup comes home and get praised for how soft she is every time. Poshy Paws is definitely worth it.

The groomers are friendly, caring, knowledgeable and attentive to my fur babies. Absolutely love this place and I would recommended to anyone. Makayla has groomed our standard poodle Thackery since he was 12 weeks old. She is absolutely AMAZING!!!! She is so patient, friendly, and gentle. Thack is a rambunctious boy with a very outgoing personality and she is understanding and catering to that, we could not be more appreciative. The space is always super clean and accommodating!

This is the first time I brought my cat to be groomed. I got the time wrong and she was still able to get me in. She was extremely professionally and immediately getting to know my cat making him feel comfortable. She got him shaved and clipped him nails with in 30 minutes. My cat is a bit grumpy when it comes to baths so she decided against it for his comfort which I think was the best choice for my cat. She apologized about not being able to finish with the bath but his haircut is perfect and he seemed less stressed when I picked him up. I am very happy with my service even with out the bath she is professional and did what was best for my cat. I will be recommending this place to everyone and a long term customer! Thanks again!

I took my dirty, matted mountain dog here for his first grooming appointment. He rolls around the mountain side all day, and I’m pretty sure he had several sticks still imbedded in his fur when I dropped him off. Posh Paws did a fantastic job with him, not only does my boy look stylin, he also will not get nearly as much of the forest stuck to him with the silky, trimmed fur. The pricing is also fantastic for the quality of work you get.

We have always gone to petco or petsmart, having no idea that a higher quality of care was out there. We recently had a bad experience at petco where our dog was dragged across the floor to the table in front of us, because she was scared and didn't want to go back with the groomer. We immediately left and started looking elsewhere. I always drive by poshy paws and decided to give it a try, and wow. Great experience. The storefront is adorable, they were so accommodating and patient with mango, and FAST. She had mango's nails clipped and buffed in what seemed like under 2 minutes to minimize mango's stress. She even talked Mango through and and was so sweet to her.. She even let us walk her to the table so Mango felt more at ease. 10/10, exceeded expectations!

This was my first time using Posh Paws. I was very satisfied with the grooming of my Shih Tzu. Friendly people and the groomer went the extra mile. I would definitely recommend this salon. I booked a second appointment.

I have a 3 yr old Aussiedoodle who is groomed every 8 weeks and has been groomed there twice. The first 2 experiences were great so we scheduled our next appointment before leaving the salon. Our last appt was Dec 21st and this appt was supposed to be Feb 9th at 3pm. Upon my arrival the desk attendant was defensive and rude stating my appt was at 2 and they would never groom a dog at 3 and can't accommodate me today. Ok no problem, mistakes happen. I never had an appointment card and I probably added the wrong time to my calendar. We rescheduled for Thursday at 11am. I show up and am met with the same woman who again is defensive and rude saying "oh no your not scheduled today." We can't do that we are so busy. She says we scheduled you for March 18th. Now this generally wouldn't be a problem because again mistakes happen but the way she spoke like I am solely responsible and took no time to explain the situation is why I won't recommend them. They did not give me an appt card and there was no reminder, no follow up or call when we missed for our first appt. It's disappointing because they do great work and my pup is always so happy when we leave.

I took my Frenchie here for a bath and nail trim and they took wonderful care of my puppy! The owner is so nice and you can tell she genuinely cares about and loves animals. They are opening a pet hotel next door soon and I can’t wait to be able to take my dog here when I go out of town! Hurry up and open it please!

We brought our brand new rescue dog to Poshy Paws for a grooming. They did an amazing job! We have already been back for a second grooming and he really likes get there. Excellent job, very professional, very fun environment!

My dogs get really nervous when people mess with their paws. They were really good and quick so as to minimize any stress to my dogs and give them a good nail trim. I highly recommend them.

Just arrived into Anchorage, and the doggos were in desperate need of pampering. They loved it (which is new for them). Everything I asked for and more was provided, and at a reasonable price. Roxy and Molly will definitely be repeat customers.
