Petco Anchorage, Alaska

Friendly staff. They did have a lot of products available for a variety of pets. Store was well kept. My only concern is there was loads of stuff stacked all around. It makes it hard to maneuver things using mobility aids.

Friendly staff and good stock of items. Went to see some fish and other items for our first tank. They hadba good selection of fish for the tank. Staff answered all our questions and we bought several decorative items and other stuff to setup our tank.

Store can be messy sometimes and customer service is decent most of the time.

We took our dog here to be groomed and he did really well especially because he doesn't usually like baths. The staff were very friendly and made the whole process easy even though I showed up late. Our groomer was on orientation and our dog wasn't as well brushed or dried as he usually is at Petco, maybe this is something that can be more standardized across the city, otherwise the groomer and staff were great!

I went in there with my dog and I was helped by Aryana and she was so helpful and nice ????. Thank you again!

Store is stocked pretty well, they had what I was looking for. Staff was friendly.

Hard to find staff to help....one lady was borderline rude and refused to check if other stores had items in stock.

I like them but very unprofessional this morning. I was emailed, texted and called about my dog grooming appointment but when I showed up at 8am found out that the person with the key was “on their way”. Apparently this is a common problem and workers often have to wait to be let in. I don’t understand how a big box store that is known nationwide can have this kind of problem without a process in place to make sure that the store can be opened on time. Very frustrating to wait more than 15-20 minutes past the scheduled appointment time just to even drop off my dog for grooming. Be better. Just changed from 1* to 4* because manager comped the service without me even asking. I appreciate them acknowledging the inconvenience and showing their appreciation for the repeated business.

The north side location has great, friendly customer service. I was quickly approached and asked if I needed help when I walked into the store. Great experience.

Mina (manager on duty), offered poor excuses and would not accept our dog for grooming. We had all vaccine documents needed, and still refused. I would recommend people go elsewhere for their grooming and pet shopping needs.

Went in was directed to what I needed within seconds of entering the store. Satisfied with my purchase And Duke loves his bone so we are all good.

This is for the grooming specifically, I said not to cut SUPER short (those words exactly) and I guess they took it seriously and didn't cut much at all. Also as far as appearance sake not the most professional/ neat grooming place I've been to. Get what you get for going to Petco ????‍♂️

I just left because I got sick of waiting for someone to grab me fish. Over 30 minutes. Ridiculous.

Always am able to get the dog food I need and get quick and easy service ????????

The fish tanks need a few more snails in each tank, they had some cute playful healthy looking ferrets, some colorful pretty beta fish, some pretty budgies, they had everything we were looking for for our fur babies.

I’m greatful for Petco they normally have a bigger selection then Petco and the staff is always helpful. I recommend this store.

Love my guinea pigs- I have 4 guineas (1 boy and 3 girls), all adopted from this store (Mountain View Anchorage). They are happy, healthy, and have brought such joy to my family. Thank you!

Loved the enlighten policy of no masks for the fully vaccinated. First place I go for cat litter.

Not opened till 8 like posted if your going to change your hours at least change your posted hours. Sitting writing this I just watched 5 other customers try to come in too.

Not even worth going since they close at 6pm now. And you get better deals at petzoo and PetSmart and you can actually make it to their store after work rather than having to go on the weekends just to make their ridiculous closing time. Can’t even be bothered to update the sign on the door.
