Dr. Beck and his associates took excellent care of our sweet Bichon, Bella. We also loved Amanda's grooming expertise! They were great, even calling us the day our Bella passed to check on us. Highly recommend S. Cherokee Vet!

Our family just got a new puppy and that meant a lot of questions and concerns. South Cherokee Vetinary Hospital answered all of our questions and made us very comfortable about raising our new puppy. They were very patient and kind. You can tell they have a love for animals and every staff member is friendly and helpful.

We have a very lively puppy and the staff was excellent with him. Going back today for boosters.

The people at South Cherokee are some of the nicest folks in town. They loved our sweet Mabel and you can tell they care about their animals. So thankful we found them to take care of our new pup!

Friendly, professional staff, good safety standards, good price for vet help

Our cat had a fractured femoral head that another vet missed. The doctors at South Cherokee thoroughly checked him, performed surgery, and were available for additional phone calls after the procedure. We even got a call from Dr Beck after the surgery.

Dr. Daughtery SAVED our Golden’s life! We had been at another vet. They told us our girl had a cracked nail. Gave us meds and sent us on our way. I knew something was wrong. Brought her in for a 2nd opinion, and she knew it was more instantly! She had cancer/tumor on her toe. Dr. Daughtery did the surgery and our baby (even though she’s 10) is back! In fact, she’s like a puppy again with more energy than she’s had in a couple of years! We have 3 dogs and we will be FOREVER clients of Dr. Daughtery! She’s extremely thorough and actually EXPLAINS everything to you. Thank you to ALL of South Cherokee employees!!! Cassie is doing incredible!!!

We recently decided to try a different vet and I was impressed with them. Responsive every time I have emailed or called and have gotten us in quickly. Prices were more reasonable that than our current vet. All staff is very friendly and helpful.

I will absolutely only take my pets here from now on. One of my animals has a chronic condition, and her former vet seemed more interested in ordering expensive tests over and over again, rather than treating her condition. The first time I brought her into South Cherokee, Dr. Beck and his staff were kind, knowledgeable, and put together a treatment plan to improve her quality of life and make sure it was a sustainable solution. If you’re looking for a new vet, I cannot recommend them enough!

My mom and sister took their new kitten Mooshi to this veterinarian on the recommendation of the kitten's breeder. They have been very pleased - zero wait time unlike at our dog's vet. Very thorough explanations of everything being done and both times the doctor sat and answered all their questions. They were able to meet two of the three doctors working there and liked both of them. Additionally, they have had no difficulty obtaining appointments that fit with my mother's work schedule. Definitely recommend South Cherokee Veterinary Hospital!

I had a fantastic experience with South Cherokee Veterinary Hospital from beginning to end! The wait time was minimal and the staff are extremely friendly. Every question I had was answered with in depth explanations. I was unfortunately unable to get all recommended services done at once, however, the staff worked with me and told me what needed to be prioritized. This establishment has a very well deserved 5 stars so do not hesitate to bring your fur babies here!

Dr. Randy is very gentle and loving with my puppy. He is very knowledgeable and helpful. For a new pet owner this is very important.

We had recently been in search of a new veterinarian and made our choice of going with South Cherokee Veterinary Hospital based on the reviews posted online by other clients and because of the friendliness of the staff when we called to inquire about their services and policies. What an incredible experience we had at our first visit! The staff was just as friendly in person as they were on the phone, and they did an excellent job at explaining the process for a visit in their office. When we met Dr. Daugherty, she was so attentive and thorough, and she conveyed herself as extremely knowledgeable on the current needs and guidelines for our pet based on age and breed. We are so glad we moved over to this office and are so appreciative for they ways in which they put our minds at ease!

Great service for our dogs

We had our first visit for our two babies a few weeks ago and the whole experience was positive. Everyone was very nice and took time to answer all of our questions. Our new puppy seems to have a cough which was given to our 1 yr old pup. She didn’t jump to do multiple tests like X-rays which I appreciated as most vets offices probably would’ve racked up the bill. So far we are very pleased!

Dr. Doherty is a wonderful and compassionate vet. The front desk staff has adopted a very positive approach and is easy to work with for appointments, medicine refills and grooming needs. Prices are reasonable and the staff does not try to hard sell on unneeded diagnostic tests which as we all know can run you thousands of dollars and may not change the course of palliative care at all. I 150% recommend SCVH.
