Brought my puppy here today for the first time. The entire staff was great and dedicated to making sure he was comfortable and had a positive experience. I was extremely pleased with the bedside manner of all the techs, the receptionist and the doctor. I look forward to bringing my dog here in the future, and plan on making my cat a patient here as well!

My pet had a bad experience with another vet care office and we came to Arkle for a second opinion. Love the care, service, and patience our older greyhound received. Their knowledge and beside manner are amazing.

We've been taking our fur babies to Arkle for a few years now and we've had nothing but amazing experiences. We have a few cats and a dog and all of them do great there. They all see Dr. Jack and she is awesome! She's so gentle and loving with our animals, I feel like she truly cares about all her patients (and their parents too!) Most recently, Arkle was VERY accommodating for a last minute request for vaccines for my dog. Our pet sitter cancelled last minute and she was out of date on her rabies vaccine which is a no-go for kennels. After I heard there were no available appointments, I had to shop around for another vet just to give a vaccination but Arkle called me back and said they could squeeze her in. It was the quickest exam I've ever witnessed (we were in a hurry) but still extremely thorough and caring toward my dog (and me!). Thank you Arkle for being such an awesome institution and thank you to Dr. Jack and all the vet techs! We will continue to use Arkle as long as we’re in the area

We were very pleased with the care, attention to detail, and kindness with which we were treated when we brought our new puppy in for his intial examination and vaccinations. Both doctors and all staff were very kind, and Dr. Rox took her time to go into detail on everything we needed to know as new puppy owners. She answered all of our questions and helped us to feel comfortable in our daily routing with our puppy. I would highly recommend this practice for other pet owners in the Smyrna area.

Whatever you do, do NOT take your pet to Arkle Veterinary Care. After what I thought and hoped was a thorough visit to check my dog’s bloodwork after he had been skittish and shaky all day, I was questioned about his heart worm medication. I told the vet that I picked it up from their office, curbside due to COVID, after his appointment several months ago. I explained they brought out the card reader, I paid and left. She kept saying “I believe you, but my records show you did not in fact pick it up and it is a prescription medication and I need to know what happened. To it.“ I explained again I came to pick it up curbside, someone brought it out with the card carrier, I paid, and have since been giving it to my dog monthly. After sending her a photo of this medication from my husband, she asked me to send her my credit card statement. When my dog began to whine because we had been there nearly 3 hours, I said it’s okay buddy, we’re leaving soon. She then had the audacity to tell me, “See that? That’s rewarding whining behavior right there.” I have never been treated so outrageously by anyone, let alone someone I hoped would care for my sick animal. Please take your beloved animals literally anywhere else.

Dr. Rox and her team saved my baby Cal when he got parvo over the summer. She is lovable and excellent with pets. She tries her best to work things out for the pet, her office and the owner so everybody wins. Love her and recommend her to anyone looking for the perfect vet.

I started using Ankle after my previous vet went out of business. I've received top notch service, everyone is pleasant, and instructions for after-care is always patiently explained. I appreciate the fact that Ankle understands the need to balance finial concerns, especially during these crazy pandemic times. They even offer financing programs if you need that. I am confident that my dog is in good hands when she is at Ankle.

I have a puppy with severe anxiety and fear towards humans. I initially brought him to my vet I had been going to for years. They were unable to properly manage my new dog’s behavior. I was upset about what had happened and spoke to my dog’s trainer. She highly recommended Arkle so I decided to give them a shot. I couldn’t have made a better decision. The staff at Arkle, specifically Marissa and Dr. Jac, have gone above and beyond to make my dog feel comfortable and welcomed. I was feeling down and hopeless about my dog, and they constantly put me at ease. They answer all of my questions and concerns and are super through when it comes to my dog’s care. I don’t know where I would be without the guidance and support from Arkle. They are incredible. Thank you Arkle for everything you have done so far for Stewart!

This place has been AMAZING over the past few days! My dog has been vomiting excessively and they have been attentive every time and have returned all my phone calls! Thankful for great care of my pet! Would recommend to anyone!

I made an appointment with Arkle but was not pleased with the services I received for my pet. I was told that in order to make a follow-up appointment, I would have to call them instead of doing it on-site. The date that I was told for the follow-up appointment was unavailable due to the office's closing. I also discovered that they were dishonest regarding service prices. I use a pet discount network and was told that the services I received for my dog were not eligible for the discount. However, the website indicated otherwise. Therefore, I was overcharged. This was a very disappointing experience. It was clear that they did not want my business, and I will not be returning.

Though we decided to go with another place closer to our house, Jennifer was spectacular in handling all my questions in regards to having our kitten, Kyo, become a new patient with them. She was sweet, patient, and very professional. She was also understanding when we realized we needed to go to an alternate vet for our financial (and distance) needs! Jason, I believe, was the other person we spoke to. He was also very kind and patient! They have wonderful, professional staff answering those phones and that speaks so well of this clinic. We wish them all the best! :)

Great place and friendly staff. Would definitely be bringing our dogs back. Parking is a little small and tricky if there's a lot of people dropping/picking up.

First time with Arkle. 5 stars! They took care of getting my dogs previous vet records and we're so friendly and detailed in my pets wellness plan. Defentialy recommend.

The entire staff was friendly! The vet especially took the time to speak with us about the puppies and you could tell she loved educating people about animals. Also, the dogs were very comfortable there. Will definitely be going back for all vet needs.
