My vet was closed for Thanksgiving, and they helped my old puppy out by selling me some of his special diet dog food. Very nice, and a very good dog behind the counter!

We took our little buddy there to get neutered... best experience I've had with a vet!

DR Myers and Dr Whitstone have always been very courteous and understanding for me and my cats and dogs. They have always wwent out of their qay to find answers for my cat and dog that were older and geriatric. Thanks for the care you have always extended to my babies and me,

Less expensive than what used to be my vet!!! Staff is very friendly, I was happy with the examination given to my dog. I will recommend you this vet! My kids are bringing their pets to this clinic because of my pleasant experience!!!! Kudos!!!

I just had a kitten brought to me in a banged up state. Eye issues infection torn ear flee covered. Called three vets. They all said they could see him next month. This vet said they would make time today. Truly impressed. Knew what he was talking about and you can’t find a better price in Rome.

100% would not recommend. Ive been here twice with my daughter , And both times there has been an incident. For one the vet is extremely unprofessional and rude , a long with the nurse. I took my daughters cat in today for a check up to do with her allergies the visit was fine up until the vet wanted to run a leukemia test he attempted to inject her but the nurse was not holding my cat right , she held her from the scruff hard to the point my cats hair was coming out she proceeded to force her down on the table holding her down , my cat then clawed the vet from fear and he proceeded to scream " throw that cat , throw it " while the nurse said " ugh you cat" they then put her in a bag to hold her down , the bag was small and tight . For one if youre a vet you should know how to properly hold or calm ones animal. Especially if its an animal who doesnt like loud noises near its ear . I couldnt begin to wonder what my other cat went thru when he got neuteurd , he came back depressed and had no trust in anyone for months. This is not a good enviorment , the only person who is honestly great was the front desk lady , ernest needs to retire .

Very helpful and informed staff. You can actually walk in and talk to someone. This was my first visit for my dog so prior to going, I had questions and made the appointment based upon the cleanliness and the helpful staff. Appointment time was honored. No complaints.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I stood outside waiting for this man to pull coggins on 2 horses and he never came out so we ended up leaving empty handed and pouring sweat for no reason.

We were in and out very quickly. Office was clean. Everyone was nice.

Caring compassionate folks. Our little chiweenie was attacked by a much larger dog and almost died. The doc and his staff went to work to stitch him up, pump him full of antibiotics and make sure we knew how to do his aftercare. Pup now has his stitches out and is doing well.

Excellent Veterinarian. Dr Ernest Myers has been treating my families animals for years. He is very thorough and honest. He doesn't do unnecessary procedures and focuses directly on the problem and solves it quickly. Prices are reasonable and straightforward. Highly recommended for your animal friend. ????????

This place is by far the best place to take your pets. Dr. Myers has been wonderful to my dogs. While some day he is grumpy I will say he is straight forward and to the point. He don't beat around the bush or tell you nonsense. He does not try to swindle more money out of you by saying you need 10 extra things done for your pet. He is honest and his prices are so cheap compared to others. He and his staff were so kind to me when I had to have my 19 year old dog put to sleep. I even received a very kind card in the mail a few days later signed by everyone there. I would never go anywhere else.

I just have to brag on how wonderful they were in taking care of my cat Stella. Stella didn't come into our house one night like she normally does and had crawled into the engine of my car. When we cranked it, it cut her left forearm off below her elbow. She ran off, and we thought she had died! We looked for her for hours in the pouring rain, and never found her. The next day she showed up on my front steps. I rushed her over to Possum Trot on a Saturday morning. I walked in, spoke with the lady at the front. She was wonderful! They spoke to the Dr. They weighed her, then he took a look at her, checked her temp, gave her some pain medicine and discussed what would happen next.He gave me a price before anything was done. He was short, to the point, and direct which I greatly appreciated. I was so emotional, and it made me focus on the recovery plan rather than worry. We opted to amputate the rest of her leg, and they kept her over the weekend. I received a call bright and early letting me know she was ready to be picked up. When I arrived she looked so happy and comfortable. The lady at the front desk was amazing. She handled her with love. And she even told me that she chose to stay late at work in order to help with her surgery, and make sure that she was not in any pain .I cannot thank Possum Trot Vet Clinic enough for everything they did for my cat Stella! She is now at home resting and recovering.

I took my pit there after I noticed she was drooling out of one side of her face and it was drooping and she would not close her right eye. Ernest looked at her never ran no test. All he done with open her mouth. Then he proceeded to ask me why I slapped my dog. I asked him to repeat what he said again. He repeated somebody slapped this dog and you're a somebody. I proceeded to let him know that I did not and I do not hit my animals. He told me there was nothing he could do that I could pay on my way out. I used him before with the same dog to fix a droopy eye. It was rude then. Now he is just hateful. I think it's time for Dr Myers to retire.

They are sweet and amazing with dogs!! My dog normally don't like other humans but he didn't even try to bite at them!! And they have amazing prices!! DEFINITELY RECOMMEND POSSUM TROT!!!

I happened to come across Dr. Myers & I'm glad I did!! He's LITERALLY the best. And for all the people that say he's rude. He is NOT, he's blunt, straight forward, and quite funny if you can handle a little sarcasm. I happily take my extra large cat there every month for allergies & I'll continue to do so.

Dr. Myer is a Great Veterinarian, his staff is so friendly, welcoming & Loving to your fur babies. I had called Dr. Myer's after hour's one night about my Dog & he met my husband at the clinic and spent time and ran tests and did so much. Our baby girl is all good now. We took our cat and the staff and Dr. Myer took such Great care of him. I wouldn't go anywhere else!
