Great folks. Vet, assistant and front counter, all helpful and considerate. Bare Bones like them alot. Dr. Jordan was our Vet today.

We LOVE Dr. Whippo! Everyone is very nice. They care about my pets and my budget! I appreciate their honesty about my pets' care and health. My most anxious cat does great with them. They said she's sweet when I thought for sure she would need sedation. Thanks for loving my kitties!

You cannot find a more skilled, knowledgeable, and caring vet practice. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

Our dog was dying of kidney failure. We didnt know what was happening at the time. We brought him in to this vet. They kept him for 4 nights saying they thought they could make him better if he ate. The last night they told us if he ate they thought he would make it. His labs were improving, they just wanted to see him eat. They said it was 50/50. So the next day he ate and we were excited! But they said there was nothing they could do and we should have him put down. We racked up an $1,800 bill. We took him to another vet and they said there was nothing they could do and they would have told us that the first day. We took him to a third vet and this vet said the same thing as the second. Shelby county vet just took our money and gave us false hope so they could make a profit. That’s disgusting!

They take care of my Corgi and I am very happy with their care.

Been bringing cats and dogs here for several years and the staff has never been anything but professional and kind. I would never go anywhere else with my pets.

This place is wonderful! Everyone is so sweet and caring. I hate that I'm not closer to them, but they're worth the drive. I feel like my little buddy is well taken care of.

Amazing office! The front desk staff are very kind and professional. Dr. Chandler is great and the vet tech was very nice and caring. Glad to have found a wonderful veterinarian. You can tell they really care about your pet!

We've been going to Dr Chandler, Dr Jordan and the team at N Shelby for 16 years now. 5 dogs and 2 cats over the years and they are amazing and caring and I cant imagine trusting my fur babies to anyone else!!

Although the receptionist and the technician were extremely friendly and polite, the wait time to merely see a technician, not a vet, was over an hour, counting both the outside and inside wait.

The vet techs were so awesome to stay hours to teach our third grade (and their siblings) Bear Cub scouts all about what they do. They took time to answer every single question and showed the scouts many different things from xrays with items surgically removed from animals to how the animals are held to the way they test blood samples. The care they showed made me confident they would take great care of any pet!

I love North Shelby County Animal Hospital! The staff is very friendly, very professional, and I know my dog is getting the best care. I've recommended them to several friends and I couldn't be happier.

Having a furry friend that doesn't feel well is never fun, but the staff here always have the answers and make every visit better and better! Even the house cat tolerates the curiosity of a big German Shepherd like it's nothing. Best place we've been!

Look for an upsale with poor quality. I took my 17 year old cat in for a senior screening and, as usual, they charged me an extra $100 to gas him, although the cat is normally very docile. You would think while the cat was sedated that it would be normal procedure to check his teeth, but apparently not for this vet. After spending almost $500 on this visit, the health of the cat continued to deteriorate, so, I decided to get a second opinion at a different vet only to find out that my cat had two abcessed teeth. What really angers me is the pain that I'm sure my cat is suffering now for weeks could have been prevented. DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMAL HERE!
