Lovely staff! also they have CATS in there and you can PET THE CATS. huge selection of cat food. No matter what your pet’s dietary restrictions are, you can find something they’ll love.

Extremely knowledgeable staff! Ive had several rescue cats of different ages and a senior dog wit joint pain. The staff always points me in the right direction.

If you have a dog, you have to come here! Love the staff and the products.

I absolutely LOVE The Good Dog Shoppe! The staff is amazing and I love the care and love they give to our pets! The food is always nutritional! I personally like locally-owned dog stores for my dogs food needs, they are just awesome! I drive 25 minutes just to get my food here!

Love this place! I will give it a "10". We were there about a month ago to purchase food for our beloved Maltese. Regina, went out of her way (on a very busy Sunday) to help me in purchasing her food. I later returned to have my Chloe groomed which they did an absolute fabulous work. Peggy, was very receptive of my needs and did the impossible to accommodate us. When I picked Chloe up I can see that she was relaxed and not anxious at all. This place is a "gem".

Regina, Chuck and Kat have become family to us as they have to most of their customers!! They know their 'stuff' too! This place is amazing ! I will never go anywhere else

I’ve been going to the Good Dog Shoppe for a little over 3 years, & have been using them for grooming my babies for just as long. They have all the natural food/treats for my babes that are hard to find anywhere else, and have a great loyalty program where you get discounts on the food & other things you buy frequently. In addition to loving their products & staff, my little morgues hated going to any other groomer. Crash (my oldest Mormon who’s almost 8) would start shaking when we got about a mile from the groomers when I took him to other places. But he’s no longer terrified of the groomers since TK has been grooming him at the Good Dog Shoppe. I still can’t believe he walks in there willingly. And she certainly does keep my 2 in a crate together while they’re there. There’s less separation anxiety to deal with which means they like it better that way, and so do I! I’m not sure what the lady who wrote something bad abt the groomers in a review was on, but I’m guessing she was delusional and was looking for something to complain abt. But I can assure you they take good care of my babies, and I’m super thankful for this shop, their products and their groomers! Love this place! ????

I love the GDS! They’re very friendly, knowledgeable, and I love supporting great local businesses. They have great products, tons of healthy options, and it’s just a great spot!

For a local pet store, this hem is the bee's knees. Small, low key, but everything you could ask for. Prices rival any pet store, but you get the value treatment of a mom-n-pop shop, plus the feeling of community support. Do they have everything, no. Do they have all the essentials, yes. I loved it and will definitely use them every time I go back in the area.

In response to Ginger Frees' recent review. The pups you referred to are mine. George (Cavachon) has been groomed by TK for over 5 years. Yes he whines when all the attention is done and he is waiting for me. That's just George - he is not being tortured. The reason he is sharing a crate with a Pug is because that pug is Julius - his beloved little brother. They do not like to be separated. Wherever George goes...that's where Julius wants to be. Whether a crate; dog bed or human bed - They are always together. I have been a customer of the Good Dog Shoppe since 2013. They are extremely knowledgeable; passionate; generous and quick to try to help you solve any issue you may be having. This is a wonderful small business made up of a caring staff that work their butts off. They deserve the support of their community. Not false accusations leveraged with some alternate agenda.

Had my Shih tzu groomed for the first time. They were very sweet to her and she looks so cute!! Haven't shopped there yet but I will.

The staff is incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. I came from out of town and needed food for my dog. In addition to walking me through the differences in each brand they gave me a ton of free samples to try. Some of the best service I’ve ever received!

We went into this store because my dog was experiencing some anxiety issues that her prescribed (prozac) was not working so good anymore, we wanted to try to find something better for her. Regina was able to direct us with some CBD oil. well it worked much better then the vets med. I am so glad that I seeked her advise and she was able to direct me in what she knew has worked for her customers. Thank you so much Regina the CBD is working on our Star dog.

Today was my last visit! If you get your dog groomed there? BEWARE!! The groomer is rough and hateful speaking to the poor babies! I've witnessed her on several occasions! You also need to see where and how long they are kept in a tiny cage with at least one other dog waiting to be groomed or afterwards waiting to be picked up! This evening The poor little pug & poodle were crying the entire time I was in the shoppe, they were locked in a small crate meant for 1 small dog! VERY SAD! Rude workers too!

Cateres to dogs and cats. Owner strives to offer the very best dog and cat food that has nutritious ingredients with no fillers that aren't. Store has treats that are also nutritious. Has toys and other non food items for dogs and cats. I buy all my cat food here.
