We've been a client here since Dr. Morgan owned it. So I have been a client for a LONG time. Each time ownership changes, you hope the service and quality of care doesn't. I'm here say, it hasn't changed. On Monday morning after the Thanksgiving holiday, I called and prayed they could work me in, as my 19 year old cat Triton, was ready to cross the rainbow bridge. They were able to work me in within an hour and a half. I thank the receptionists and Dr. Sawyer for making this happen. Thank you for being compassionate during that difficult time.

Excellent customer service, I've been a customer of theirs for 11 years his ears actually got my dog from them where they rescued him.. He had hard worms they treated them gave them to us and have given us free treatment for his heart worms and heartworm prevention.

First time guest this week & i will be a long time customer after the care my boy received! ☺ Sadly I discovered some sores on his belly that would just not heal. Past Vet told me he was allergic to fleas. Unfortunately, it seems his health deteriorated even more & with our move, i needed to find a new vet closer to home. One bite will apparently cause multiple sores & it's so sad to see. But Hunter was so sweet & was very thorough in getting all of our info. Dr. Sawyer took her time going over all of the issues, ways I can make the environment better for him & preventative measures for the future. She took even more steps to explain how we may go to a dermatologist (yes, there are pet dermatologists! ????) to really find the root of his allergies. Hunter took extra time at the end to go over all his meds & the rather odd schedule of them. It's day 2 & already my boy is doing better! I can't thank this team enough for helping us & giving me peace of mind for his future recovery!!❤

Brought my senior dog here without any appointment because she was having consistent fainting spells. They decided to see us rather promptly. Lynn & Dr. Rebecca Sawyer were patient and attentive to our emergency. Provided thorough information on the issue and assessing our dog. Vet staff were friendly and accommodating. Best experience in Douglasville with vets so far! & We received a discount as first time customers.

We have seen 4 different vets since stumbling across our cat that claimed us...this is the first time I feel like I seriously get value for my money...they were thorough and their prices were reasonable...very pleased with the quality of service we got here.

Professional, compassionate, knowledgeable staff. (Of course,! Dr. Cohn is also!) My fur baby is a very important part of my life and is treated as such at Douglas Oaks.

Called for a price on clipping nails was told $15 . I have two dogs so $30 I thought that was a little high but trusted them to do it over a pet store. After the procedure was done I was charged $60 they tacked on a tech fee. This to me was outrageous for less than 5 minutes of work for both dogs . I have been going there for over 8 years. Their prices are crazy a yearly check up is close to $200 a dog.

You can stay with your pet for the exam! Big deal to your pet and to you since who knows your pet and who is your pet relaxed with better than you!

My dog got in a several accident which caused his eye to burst. The Dr. here was so gentle and kind. He removed his eye and the scar is barely noticeable! Gary looks like he's just winking at ya! Thank you Douglas Oaks Animal hospital!

When I leave with my dog he looks back with sad puppy eyes because he loves his visits. Plus they practice sound veterinary medicine which is the reason I actually went. So five stars.

All Good, I like It, Very Good

My family (including 2 dogs of our own) moved from several states away and had no connections. Two days after moving into our home, a senior pup showed up. I knew he needed to be checked for a chip at the least but he also looked ill. I had no idea who to contact. After calling a couple other places and not getting any help, I came across Douglas Oaks, and I am so thankful I did. They were more than accommodating to work him in quickly. They have been incredibly helpful with tackling some health issues. Both Dr Sawyer and Dr Cohn were very thorough about various procedures, tests, etc. All staff members with whom I've had contact have just been so kind. They have been quick to get back with me about questions. I know my now 3 fur babies are very well taken care of at Douglas Oaks!

Very caring, helpful and courteous staff.

The staff at this hospital is amazing. My husband had to take one of our cats here during an emergency. Originally they told him that they were full for the day, but when he explained her symptoms they told him to go ahead and bring her immediately. They did everything possible for her, found the issue and referred us to a surgeon for emergency surgery. They were so kind and caring, and we really felt relieved while she was under their care because it was so obvious how much the staff cares for their patients.

Good vets! Reasonable prices. Oh, the techs are great too.
