Banfield Pet Hospital Douglasville, Alabama

I asked for on my visit that my dogs ears be flushed and his nails clipped and yes they clipped is nails but did not do a clean flush on his ears as requested just sent home with a bottle of ear cleaner that didn’t help before

My fiancé and I have 2 doggos and have been to multiple Banfield locations. Our appointments at this location has been absolutely blissful. We have 2 pit bulls and have often experienced prejudice interactions with past Banfield locations. But I can tell the doctors and staff love our boys as if they were their own. Kiera was an absolute angel with our big boy and I am so grateful to find an office with so much devotion.

My dog passed away two days after visiting this hospital. The vet said everything looked good; the women at the front desk would always give us his medication but never explain anything to us. When we would ask questions, they weren't very helpful. We would get most of our information online. We also had to pay for his insurance for six months even after he died.

Very friendly. I was in and out in a timely manner and most importantly my fur baby was taken care of.

Whatever happened to injuried or sick animals seen first? I normally go to Woodstock since that's where my pets went since they were puppies. When I moved I finally talked myself into changing hospitals to save the gas and time what a mistake that was. My dog has been seen multiple times for a leg injury. The pet sitter recently called and told me she was back to limping. I called to see if they could see her when I got back in a few days. They told me they couldn't see her until next week despite their vet saying she needed to be seen for xrays. She's been limping on and off for a while and you have no time for her just kept giving her pain meds and crate rest while I try to be patient. I called her old vets in Woodstock where Dr. Bern and Dr. Bell told me they would make the room for her just give them the day I can come. I more than likely won't be back not when her loving vets still put in the time and effort for my kids.

The staff here are top notch.... They do such a great job in the most loving manner even when dealing with my mean and Shady cat.. The hardest thing I’ve ever had to do was to put my pug down. They have a way of handling things there that is just loving and so appreciated by me. I will always go there.

I came to Banfield to attend my dog's broken nail. she was in pain and they rejected her. I'm not sure why. maybe because I don't have the monthly membership they charge. I had always had bad experience with this hospital. I would have given a negative star point

This place is INSANELY EXPENSIVE!!! I had a FREE VISIT coupon and all I needed was a heartworm TEST and nails trimmed and still ended up paying almost $100!!!!! Won't be back!!! I guess with the free visit, they get you with all the add ons individually! I used to pay that amount for the visit AND ALL SHOTS, thank goodness he didn't need anything else, like ANY SHOTS, I have never seen anything like this, outrageous!!! I can say they were very friendly, welcoming staff and he was in and out, didn't take that long at all.

Hated it racket for over expenses

Had a good experience here with Dr. Allen. She was able to give us insight on what is causing our dogs stomach issues. Very professional and knowledgeable. I just hated that we couldn’t go in the room with our dog because of COVID but that’s understandable. Price is to be expected from any vet.

All the vets and staff at Banfield are very caring and provide excellent services. We have been completely satisfied with our experiences so far with our visits for our 5 month old chocolate Labrador retriever.

The hospital staff was horrible except Dr Brown and the Head Vet in the white coat. I totally understand social distance and covid rules but I stood there and 6 people walked right pass me and didn't even acknowledge I was there. Noone said welcome to petsmart anything like that. This will be the last time I visit this location as im not used to this type of behavior from pet stores. I usually only go to petco when I go to Banfield locations but this one is attached to a petsmart. I normally do not go to petsmarts as most time they are not very welcoming like petco. This proved to be the case again at this location. Dr Brown was awesome she listened and made me feel comfortable with what I went in there for.

I called because it’s an animal hospital well it’s not a real hospital it’s just a regular vet. My dog had an emergency and they said they can’t see her. Told me to go somewhere else.

My new adopted dog was having an issue. They were able to fit me in, when no one else could! Love this place!

DO NOT BRING YOUR PET HERE. They do not take care of the animals & are completely unprofessional.

If I could give no stars I would first off they had me waiting outside for 15 mins. Then told me that they couldn’t find my puppy wellness profile! I pulled it up on my phone and was told no they couldn’t see her with that info they needed to see it themselves and was told to repurchase it through them! I already had an account and profile and paid .Smh very unprofessional and unhelpful.

The Doctors and techs are amazing. You can tell how much they love animals. Highly recommended.

Bear is currently enrolled in the Health Care Plan and we've already saved so much money. Very courteous and caring staff. Constantly reminded of appointments are after every single one they call to make sure everything went well. Overall the best vet I've ever had for any of my fur babies.

The people that work here are awesome. Friendly and welcoming service is not something that is standard these days and it is refreshing to see that it lives on here. I have visited other Banfield locations and not had as great of an experience.

My dog got a very serious infection after being spade...cost me over $600
