If I could give Village Vet more than 5 stars, I absolutely would because they deserve it! I have had pets my entire life and truly have not met a vet who goes above and beyond the way they do at Village Vet. Outstanding, compassionate care. I just can't say enough good things about Dr. H and Village Vet. I recommend them hands down, 100%!

I have been broading my dogs there for a long time. They real care about my guys and know them by name.

I don't live in Destin anymore, but did. Our dogs and cat were always given the best care. Our dogs would drag us into the building. They loved being fussed over by staff. They always came home happy (the cat was a jerk, so her opinion doesn't count). Village Veterinarian was there for us for yearly visits, sickness, boarding, and even when we had to say goodbye.

This place is the absolute best! They are very caring people and tried everything to help out my sweet baby. It was very emotional visit but they made it easier to let go. Thank you for all that you do!

Hands down the BEST veterinary clinic in Destin! I would give more than five stars if I could. I have never been to a vet that is so responsive and caring as Dr. Henderson and his team. You can tell the whole staff here are dedicated pet lovers. The level of attention they give the animals (and their owners) is second to none. If you are looking for a new vet, don’t hesitate to come here!

I have know Dr Henderson for years and I believe that his knowledge and skill, especially as a surgeon, is unequalled in the area. His staff is caring and professional and will treat you like family. My new dog Daisy, was just spayed by Dr Henderson and everything went perfect! Wouldn't use anyone else!

More of a large animal vet...not a real touchy feely type if you're a protective type

These guys are awesome! Dr. Henderson has been great with all of our pets. He has helped us through tough times and taken care of our healthy pets well too! We have also used them for boarding and sometimes I think my bloodhound would rather be hanging out with the crew at Village Vet than at home with his family! We’ve been going there for about 10 years now and anytime anyone needs a vet I always highly recommend Village with no hesitation. I’ve heard many stories from friends as well that are touching and heartwarming making me want to always give my business to this team.

I took my Cano Corso puppy there through a high recommendation I met with the Doctor Who spoke very impressive and seemed very concerned about the well-being of doing my dogs ears he assured me he was extremely experienced doing the Procedure My dog was only nine weeks old when he did the procedure to crop his ears when I picked the dog up he gave me a major attitude and said my dog was a violent dog when I asked him why the dogs ears were two different heights he said was because the dog was not obedient and the dogs gave him a hard time which did not make sense because The dog was under anesthesia my dog has been to three different vets in the last year and everybody wants to know why his years are two different lengths There is a 1 inch difference my dog now is two years old and he is the sweetest dog ever with not one violent or a bad bone in him His cockeyed Yours truly match his soft personality the doctor is the only one with the bad attitude

This place is the best! The staff is very caring, and knowledgeable! They took extremely good care of us and our family when the time came to put our 17 year old dog down. We asked the vet to be completely honest and he told us what he would do if it was his fur baby! The Vet was very down to earth and compassionate. We couldn't be happier to of found such a great Vet being that we are not from this area!

Dr. Henderson and his staff are hands down the most wonderful, caring and loving vet staff on the Emerald Coast. I met them under the most horrible of circumstances (losing a pet after moving here three days prior) and since then, they have truly become family! From routine vaccines and checkups, to surgeries and boarding, I wouldn’t have anyone else for my fur babies!!! They are the very best!

Our favorite vet office of all time. Fair prices, courteous staff, and an exemplary veterinarian who is knowledgeable and kind. We use this office for our pets’ medical needs and for boarding. Our bloodhound loves to go here to be boarded. He runs off to the kennel with the staff happily wagging his tail without even saying goodbye.

Staff was very friendly and helpful!

We noticed our dog had lost a nail and initially thought it would heal on its own. A couple of days later we noticed he was limping so we called the vet we were established with to get it looked at and they told us the soonest we could be seen was in two weeks. A neighbor recommended we call village vet and they were able to see our dog that same day. Turns out he not only pull the nail out but the entire cuticle. He Prescribed the proper medication, but most importantly gave us peace of mind. Highly recommend this place.
