Amazing Tails Pet Salon Dallas, Alabama

Took my 12 week puppy here last year for his first grooming. I waited 3 weeks for the appt because they were so booked. I’ve taken my other two dogs there before that and they were done well. But when I went to pick up my puppy I paid around $85 and then waited for them to bring him out. When she brought him out he had not been shaved like I requested or nails clipped. The lady was extremely rude and said ‘you shouldn’t bring your dog to a groomer if he isn’t used to being groomed yet. He wouldn’t stop moving so all he got was a bath. Train him and then bring him back’ what?? That made no sense at all. I bathe him every week I didn’t need to pay $85 for a bath. I took him to another place a week later. She shaved him fully and clipped his nails and plucked his ears and said he was an angel. So clearly the girl (I think her name was Alicia but I can’t be sure) didn’t want to work that day. I thought I left this review after it happened but I never did which is why I am doing it almost a year later.

I have a golden and a great Pyrenees who os 12. Hes not big on the grooming thing any more, but was in great spirits beautiful and happy when we picked him up. The Golden is only 2, and loves baths and grooming so he of course was happy too bit oh so beautiful.

I moved here to Dallas Georgia, from Lawrenceville Georgia, these ladies are Awesome, both my dogs loved them , my 2 year old Lab mix has never been to a groomer and she did amazing they gave her a bath and cut her nails , both my dogs look great and feel so soft , my mini poodle will be back end of the month to get fully groomed , I Recommend everyone to go there with their dogs , prices are great.

My dog has a lot of anxiety when he is separated from me, but when I pick him up, I see no drooling. That shows me that he is comfortable at Amazing Tails.

Front desk receptionist was the best!! Very sweet and polite. My boy's grooming job was great. He came out smelling great, and his fur was so soft. Prices are very reasonable. Will definitely be back!

We love Amazing Tails pet salon, all of the groomers are caring an professional they ask you questions before they just go ahead an cut down your dog's hair, like they called me a Lil bit after Chloe's appointment that she needs have her hair cut a bit more than I thought I was like that's fine, the hypoallergenic shampoo they use smells great

I was very excited to find a place near us to take our golden retriever. Prices are good. Unfortunately, she came home with a burn on the top of her nose that took a couple of weeks to heal. I will not be taking her back to this groomer.

Amazing Tails does an excellent job grooming our cat, which isn’t easy! They take great care of her and make sure she’s groomed correctly. I highly recommend their grooming services.

Wonderful groomers! They take fantastic care of my giant beast of a dog (150 lbs and at least 30 of that is fur), so they can for sure handle whatever anyone brings to them. Ask about their maintenance plans because that is an amazing deal.

We have been going to this location for about 5 years. Our dog breeder recommended them as she has all her pups go to them. For the last year or so, it has been an issue with the salon. For starters, the last two visits our dog has came back sad and scared after his appointments. We wrote it off a bit but was paying attention. The recent event was when we dropped him off for a simple nail trim, the lady at the front desk (covering for the rep that was on vacation), was extremely rude and unprofessional. When it was time to pay, she was handed the debit card and while returning it, she threw it on the counter. After the did the same with the receipt, she did not say thank you for coming in . Nothing. She proceeded with helping the next customer. When asked are we done she said "Yea, you good". The next customer was Caucasian and was treated differently. The following one was a African American male and received the same poor treatment. Our dog had an upcoming full groom appointment in a few weeks and we cancelled and will NEVER do business with them again. I was not there but my adult daughter had to experience this foolishness. I called and spoke with the manager and she advised the regular girl was on vacation and the person up front is a groomer and offered a $9.00 credit to make it right. Regardless, customer service skills should be a priority for ANY business. And a $9.00 credit for poor treatment was a slap in the face. This does not make it right and my fur baby is our baby, I don't trust this business any longer and knowing she's a groomer probably abusing dogs of African American since she seems to have an issue with us is even more horrifying. We are taking our business elsewhere.

They did a good job and my pup came out happy. Just be sure to be specific if you need more attention to detail in certain areas. They are very accommodating.

Great work at very reasonable prices!!

They were very professional and organized. When I got there with my cat for a nail trimming there were folks coming in with dogs for grooming. The waiting room was full and they processed everyone quickly and efficiently and sent someone out to take care of my ???? and I didn't have to wait long at all!

We used a local Pet supply for our dogs grooming for years. We heard good things about Amazing Tails and decided to try them out. The service is quicker, competitively priced, and the dogs always look great at pickup. we have been using them for over a year now and all 3 of our family dogs go there now. I highly recommend!

I was in desperate need of a new groomer and after calling around to at least 10 other groomers that were booked out for weeks, I called here. The sweet receptionist got my fur baby in within the hour and after letting Kayla know what I was looking for, my dog looked "Amazing"! The customer service and professionalism were out of this world and for the quality of work... extremely affordable! Thank you Kayla for making my dog look and smell great again!

Amazing Tails has been great so far with my pup Bella. We are new to the area and I was nervous to try someone new but we are pleased with there work and my dog come home happy. They are on time with appointment times and my dog hasn't been there more then 2 to 3 hours. Prices are fair.

Rescued a dumped and neglected dog 3 days ago... covered in mats from head to toe all the way to the skin. Vet I took him to said they did not have the proper tools to do the job. Looked up several groomers in my area and they said they did not take severely matted dogs or were booked out until June. Called them and these angels got me in so quickly! They were so sweet and patient with my guy. He was so bad off and they were unable to completely get all the mats out but they got sooo many and you could tell felt so much better. But these angels called in contacts and get me an appt at a vet for the very next day. My boy is there now getting the help he needs and I couldn't have done it without them. They are sweet and amazing people who really love the animals and it shows! Thanks to everyone at amazing tails pet spa!!

Our puppy has been to this groomer for the 3rd time today he is 5 months old but can grow hair being an aussiedoodle. He always looks amazing when I pick him and the ladies are soo great with him. They really make sure the dog is comfortable and don’t push them if they seem unhappy. Highly recommend this place!

My first time there. I have an 8 month old yorkie. I took him in for a grooming and nail trim. They only did his feet, his private area and around his face. They said that he was too scared to go any further with the grooming. They were very kind and very friendly and seemed to care about my dog but I don't feel like I got my money's worth when I picked him up because he almost looked the same as when I dropped him off. I will try them 1 more time because they are close to my house and have great reviews.

I was referred to Amazing Tails by a friend and I have brought my chocolate lab to them 4-5 times now, along with my parents yorkie who just had her first visit. I loved everything about this place, they did an amazing job with Milo and he always comes back super clean and soft with the cutest bandana on! I highly recommend Amazing Tails, they have great packages and prices and all the workers are super awesome!

They were very patient with my fur baby. I will continue taking Libra Beauty there for grooming needs.

This was our first grooming experience and we could not be happier!! We have a sheltie named Bella and she is very fluffy so we were kind of nervous how her cut would turn out. However, Kayla Howard did not disappoint!!! She did a fantastic job and made our fur baby look amazing. Bella was also VERY happy when we picked her up which spoke volumes on how she was treated! We already rescheduled her next appointment! 10/10 recommend this groomer and Kayla Howard.

I have a Great Pyrenees St.Bernard mix he is 140 pounds as you can imagine I always have to spend more because of his size and I wouldn’t have it any other way! First time I went there I was blown away by how friendly the girls were and then going to pick him up the price was so low I was actually shocked.. 10/10 recommend you taking your fur baby here!

Jennifer is so good - very kind and patient with my Great Pyrenees. He's a giant dog with a ton of hair (and a few problem areas). She is able to brush or cut the matted areas in his coat without it being too noticeable. She blends in the clipped areas very well. He always looks so handsome after a visit to see Jennifer at Amazing Tails
