My dog love this place!! They do everything!

They were not patient with my older dog and did not follow directions. I was charged more than before and was not informed of the price difference until i arrived to pick my dog up. At pick up i was told my dog should go to a groomer in a vets office with no further explanation and they stated he became really agitated when they tried to trim his nails ( this is my dog's third time going there and if they would have bothered to read the note in his chart it clearly states his nails are not too be trimmed!!) They just want to get as many dog's in and out the door as possible and they don't want to take the time to be understanding or patient especially with older dogs. I do not recommend this place and will never go back!!!

A great place to take care and train your dog!!

The Dog Stop is an excellent Daycare/ full service exstablishment for your fur baby. The dog trainer Peyton is especially wonderful. She is very knowledgeable and will treat your pet like her own. I will recommend her to anyone that needs any type of dog training. I am truly grateful for Peyton and all the people at he Dog Stop.

Great service for your dog

Called a few times to get info in boarding my dog while we went on family vacation and I didn't get call backs after I left 3 messages. Although I have heard good things. But I didn't have much luck.

Very over priced. Was quoted $243 to have one dog vaccinated to be boarded for the weekend. I was boarding two.I got in touch with All Creatures Pet Hospital in Gardendale. $143 to have them vaccinated for their stay. Also very friendly staff in Gardendale.

The staff is very friendly, professional and welcoming. I have two puppies and brought them to the Dog Stop for their first haircut. The groomers are extremely professional and had a phone consult with me first. They exceeded my expectations and both puppies came home very calm and happy. I HIGHLY recommend The Dog Stop in Trussville.

My daughter works there. They board and groom dogs. They have a day care and they bathe and dehair dogs. I highly recommend this place but they stay booked up quite often. ???? They take very good care of your Fur Baby.

Our dogs stayed here for about a week and when we picked them up they said they did not have time to give them a bath but bring them back and they gladly do that. I've called two different occasions and have been turned down both times. Just need a good company to service their clients.

I would have gladly given 5 stars but it is continuously advertised as offering live web cam...it hasn't worked in 2 yrs. Otherwise, we love Dog Stop and Scout is always a happy pup.

I had my dog groomed and was pleased was results. The employees were very pleasant and I intend on trying daycare and boarding.

Our babies LOVE the Dog Stop! We brought home two black lab puppies, Maggie and Marley, and took them to training with Peyton. Peyton worked with them during the day while we were at work, and then she would send us videos showing us what they were working on and how we continue the training at home. We would talk on the phone after each training lesson and Peyton would give us tips, hints, and ways to continue the training at home until their next session. She would listen to our feedback about how the girls are doing at home and suggest things we should try or do differently. Our puppies have made so much growth and it is all because of the time Peyton took to work with us and our girls! We found training at the Dog Stop a great experience and value because every day they were there training, a full day of day care was included. Even though our training with Peyton has concluded (and Maggie and Marley miss her so much), they still attend day care about once a week and absolutely love it! They come home worn out and exhausted every time!

I've never been, spent an hour setting up online account. Tried to schedule a grooming, couldn't figure out how to do it online. Called, line was busy for awhile, when it did ring, nobody ever picked up. Friends us the dog stop, so I was going to give them a try. Guess I'll be looking for a different groomer.

We love The Dog Stop in Trussville. We started out with our pup in doggy daycare. We found out that they did training and were very excited. We met their trainer Peyton Jackson and felt very comfortable with her. She did such a great job training our pup Zeus. Peyton was very friendly and outgoing. She answered any questions we had. She also was kind enough to send us some pictures and video of our pups progress. I would strongly recommend Peyton at The Dog Stop for training.

This was the first time that I left my dog behind when going on vacation. I did a ton of research and finally settled on The Dog Stop because of previous reviews, price, amenities, website. It was the best price $30ish a night (can’t remember exactly) and you don’t have to pay for extra things like giving treats, not bagging food, playtime. He came home very happy after 10 days and smelling so good (he got a free return home bath). The only thing I’d want is for the petcam to be active or some more pics on Facebook ☺️

I was fostering a dirty beagle puppy. They were so patient with him. Dropped him off scared, picked him up after he had a ball all day. And he smells great!

My dog Hannes enjoyed his visit to The Dog Stop! The staff was very helpful and even had great retail items. Hannes was nice and tired after a day of play and his grooming. Would recommend!
