Vet tech Abby and Dr. Cobb were amazing with my dog, Jax. I was so nervous to trust anyone with my dog, but they made the experience great!

We took our 11 year old cat to this place on Wednesday and picked him up on the following Tuesday. The bill was $2557. I called and complained and was very upset as I wano nice. Their was response was to tell me to find another vet. They are money hungry thieves who care for nothing except money. Hold on to your wallet when you take your animal to them. They might as well held a gun to my head, I was robbed. You go there at your own peril!!!

We have used them for over thirty and has always had wonderful experience with all our pets.

They were ALL caring and concerned. Couldn't be happier.

They are always super friendly, courteous, and professional! They have always taken wonderful care of our dogs, whether it’s a vet appointment, boarding, or a bath! I would not take our dogs anywhere else on 280!!

They repaired my dragon and she was feeling better then tragedy's hand came and took my baby on her appt day and the hospital was so sympathetic and made me feel they really cared.

An amazing place that accepts all of my babies, whether they be rats, a bunny a dog or a cat. Thanks to them, my albino rat Eve is recovering soo good and their prices are amazing! 10/10 I recommend

Riverview's Dr. Campbell messed up when signing my animal's health certificates to travel. My cats are no longer flying on their booked dates, costing hundreds to reschedule. I will also have to reschedule my flight. I paid $216 to have these papers signed and that couldn't even be done properly. I made to drive 40 minutes to to talk to someone as soon as I heard about the error since no one would answer the phone. They nearly declined me because I didn't have my cats with me. I now have to send these papers myself when they are responsible for sending them off, I never once got an apology. Apparently "We don't do this very often" is a good enough excuse for ruining literally everything booked.

Vets here are competent, without question. However, their “system”, app and support staff are well below par.

We've been taking our pets to Riverview for years. The techs and medical staff explained everything and answered all my questions courteously and completely.

We have been seeing Dr. Dodgen for several years. She knows my dog. She’s excited to see my dog. She calls me personally to tell me about bloodwork - not a lab tech. She’s had unexpected dental surgery by Dr. Tate - wonderful communication and very well healed surgery. She had planned dental surgery by Dr. Atlas - again, perfect on her very small, very fragile jaw. My girl gets hurt. She gets sick. She’s expensive. She’s worth it. The prices at Riverview seem fair to me - no weird extra fees, straightforward billing. I trust them with her life. I therefore only board her there when I have to leave town without her. They keep an eye on her health and give her an extra half hour outside with a tech. And all her vets got their DVM at Auburn. For this very narrow purpose, they are the best in the country. Superior minds and truly superior spirits. Roll Tide. I recommend this clinic wholeheartedly. It is a huge practice, but when they’re ready to give your baby their undivided attention, they heal and care.

I drove an hour to bring my rat to Riverview, all of the exotic vets in my area were closed and he unfortunately got a cat bite. Dr. Kerlin is by far the best vet I've seen since living here, she looked over Sushi (my rat), and was very realistic about his condition. He's now on two medications, and critical care omnivore and seems to be perking up. I would recommend them pretty highly to any one with exotics.

Dr. Wood sees all of our pets and he is an amazing vet. His staff at the front desk however, are very rude and somewhat condescending (especially the redheaded lady). Also, they don’t tell you important information when they should (like bringing your pet the night before certain procedures), then they are ugly with you about it the day of when they never told you about it in the first place. Other than those two problems, I’d give 5 stars.

We have been using Riverview for many years. During this time the doctors, technicians and staff have always been professional and easy to work with and communication is always outstanding. We're made to feel as though our pets are the most important patients in the office. Over the years we've seen all of the doctors in the practice and without exception they are very knowledgeable and up to date on the latest developments in veterinary medicine. The recent change to text check-in and their app have made an already exceptional facility even better. We've had a dog with heart issues, an ancient dog with digestive problems, dogs with allergies and the usual run-of-the-mill things. We also take our snakes and bearded dragon for their medical needs. In every case we felt our pets got the best possible care. When it's been time to say goodbye to a beloved family member, that process has been handled with sympathy and kindness. We recommend Riverview every chance we get and feel there's no better veterinary care in the area.

Took a long time to get in and out but doctors were informative and kind. I appreciate the options I was given when it came to preventative care of my elderly rabbit. I was able to bring in my cat and my rabbit in the same day and get checkups and shots in one visit

Riverview’s move to greater ease in use of technology to text to check in upon arrival as well as their new app to quickly make an appt, chat with a vet tech is AMAZING. I was able to get in a last minute nail trim for two dogs almost immediately by using these tools! Thank you to the team for guiding me through the process!

Front desk staff refuses to speak to u would rather have u text this number than treat u like a human

Dr. Atlas was wonderful. He was patient and explained everything in detail including what the treatment option is and what other options I had. Would recommend this place to anyone with Rats.

The vet and assistants are fantastic!! I can’t say enough positive things about them and the treatment of my puppy. ???? They’re patient, upbeat, and kind to the animals. You can tell they enjoy what they do. Everyone took their time, answered all of my questions, and did a thorough exam. I recommend this vet office 100%!!!

Riverview Animal Clinic will ALWAYS get a 5 star review from me! My wife and I have always brought our 3 cats and 1 dog here and the staff is absolutely amazing! From Dr. Atlas to Dr. LeBlanc and everyone in between, they always treat us and our animals like family!!

They are the best they helped my dog that almost died while giving birth to her puppies but thankfully we got one and he's perfectly happy and healthy ???? ????????????

First, the HOURS are unbeatable. It gives me so much peace of mind to know that I have options if anything happens on the weekend. Still, none of that would matter if the staff wasn’t good, and they’ve been amazing! Dr. Dodger is so kind and knowledgeable, and she took the time to answer all of my questions thoroughly. Everything about the clinic is so convenient, and they make me feel so valued as a client! Highly recommend taking your pet here :)

100 dollars wasted. Look at my parakeet and just tell that it could be a tumor or something and give me some antiflammatory and that’s it all for 100 bucks like seriously I could have gone to my local vet and got the same treatment for thirty. Just want to milk your wallet not help you.

Best Veterinary Staff In Birmingham! I discovered them through a pet store I worked at for 5 years. They helped us treat rabbits, guinea pigs, various birds, & some reptiles. When I adopted my cat, Riverview Animal Clinic was the clear choice for us. The staff has always been patient, understanding, & very helpful.

Excellent care, services. The Dr's are a five. The technicians, front desk, all very good. They have a phone app. It's a top shelf Vet and man do you pay for it. That's why 4 stars. Crazy expensive. You won't walk out of there for under 100 for anything and 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 hundred bucks isn't unusual. If you can manage that the animal expertise and experience when there is good
