Hwy 280 location is a Really nice store. The crew on duty did a good job on getting me what I needed. Good customer service and the only chain pet store in the south of Birmingham Al area that was stocked up and had everything I came for. Overall great experience.

The store was clean and every associate was happy to help us. With me being pregnant and my fiance helping me around, all the help and friendliness is more than welcome. Thank you Petco!

There was a dying bearded dragon in one of the enclosures that had to be removed, and when we got home we found out that the box for the bulb we purchased was empty. Additionally, all the crickets in the cricket to go boxes were dead.

Not acknowledge when arriving in the store. I needed information regarding Cat products etc. no one assisted, even though no other people were in store. Cashier talking on the telephone.

I really hate to give anybody a bad review but went there to get me some tropical fish after asking for help and being there an hour and a half I decided to help myself then I go all the way to check out and they told me that I could not help myself I had to have someone else get my fish so I told him to put them back that I would go somewhere else and get my fish

Highly Recommend! I'm getting my dog trained here, and its definitely worth the money. Cheaper than anywhere else and our trainer is very good

Best the store had looked compared to previous visits. Lots of people I hadn't seen in there before. Corporate? Labor Day sale? If they could do this level of fishkeeping and store maintenance on a regular basis I would give them a five.

Most of the fish were either lethargic or dead. Many had ich or fin rot. It was really depressing to see so I hope they end up fixing this. Go to Petsmart instead they have better selection and healthier animals.

My roommates and I just got 2 puppies so we went into Petco for toys and training treats. The cashier was very nice and extremely helpful. The store was clean and laid out nicely. I was a really good experience.

Very obvious that the employees here love the field that they are in...That's very important as most people truly feel that theirs Pets are family. That's why I continue to shop here for our bullmastiff mix Benjamin Blu.
