My cats have PTSD and I have been given the RUN ROUND about prescribing GABOPENTIN for weeks!!! Unbelievable

I wanted to share my experience with them today. I never feel humiliated this like before! I called for the appointment for my kitten. The person on the phone asked me about my reason to get appointment. I only went to a vet one time in my life for my bunny before. So, I don’t have much experience with vet. I have a kitten this time. I asked how much would it be cost to me visit for my kitten’s probably worm problem. She said they don’t have any available appointments until January and she said they have more valuable patients and they need to give their time to their old patients. I was shocked. Then hang up on me. After that, I realize she thought me as a beggar or something. How humiliating! I never ever treated like this before in my life. I am still don’t understand why she act like that. I never forget it and never forgive her.

The staff and everyone I encountered at Holmes were very polite and knowledgeable. The lobby was clean and the atmosphere was clean, and pleasing.

Dr. Holmes and her staff are wonderful! They are both caring and professional.

This place is a little more expensive than your average veterinarian, but it is worth every penny. The customer service is top notch, Dr. Holmes takes the time to explain the whole process each visit. Never going to another vet again!

I just took my girl to Holmes Feline Clinic Monday. I used to go to Metro Cat Clinic, but after multiple issues we decided to swap. I loved Dr. Holmes. She was so gentle and sweet with my anxious kitty. Actually listened to all of my concerns without seeming rushed and she thoroughly explained any questions I had regarding some testing/treatments we’ve decided to do. 10/10 would recommend.

Dr. Holmes definitely knows what she’s doing. If you have a cat and want a dog-free vet experience (I love dogs but my cat gets stressed with any barking), then this is the place for you!

Great people! I feel so comfortable letting our Cat Speedbump visit Holmes while we're away. Beautiful and comfortable place for your kitty to stay.And the staff are very professional and kind.

One of my cats started limping and not moving around to the point that he pooped and peed outside the litter box or next to our bed because that is where he was the whole day. It was so SAD! I went to two local vets where I usually take my dog and 5 cats and the only thing they did was take more money from me, making me come for more visits and offering random things. Dr. Holmes fixed the problem in ONE visit. The first medicine didn't work, but it was truly an odd case. We simply gave her a call to let her know and she said that she needed to do some research and let us know. A few days later, she called us back to pick up a new medicine WITHOUT asking us to bring our cat or charging us for another visit. Second medicine resolved the issue and my baby is behaving completely normal again! I cannot even explain how grateful I am. She is the cat expert!

I like that she specializes in cats. My previous vet had more dog patients than cats, so I felt she might have less expertise.

Dr. Holmes and staff are excellent. Our elderly cat has boarded there several times with no issues. We have been very pleased with the Healthcare he is receiving.

Dr. Holmes runs an outstanding practice. With them being feline only, my cats are less stressed when at the vets office. Her manner of care is patient focused, incredibly knowledgeable, and super professional. They have an amazing staff of Vet Techs who work their tails off to make sure your cats stay healthy and live long lives. Recently, I had an emergency visit due to a severe infection, and Dr. Holmes allowed me to bring my cat in at a moment's notice and made sure he had the care he needed to be back in top shape. This is the only vet you need if you're in the Birmingham Area and have cats! Great people, great practice!

We absolutely love Dr Holmes and her whole staff. They have been taking care of our cats for 3 years and we wouldn't go anywhere else! It is always a positive experience when we see them. They have a true love and compassion for cats! Highly recommend their clinic!

Dr. Holmes is your ideal cat vet for checkups, for major repairs, and for cat boarding. We have trusted her with four critters and always come away pleased with the staff and service. My only regret is that she’s not able to run a full-time urgent care for seven-day availability!

I love Dr. Holmes and her entire staff! They are helpful and kind. Appointments run on time and I feel like the doctor listens to my concerns and cares my cat and myself. The boarding here is amazing! My cat gets his own little room with a window so he can see out into the office. Everyday he gets his time in the larger play area. The best part is that i know he gets love and attention so I know he's happy while I'm away.
