Green Springs Animal Clinic Birmingham, Alabama

My dog started having issues here recently and I brung him here to see what was wrong . I knew something bad was wrong with my dog by the things he was doing . They told me he had Anxiety and charged me a lot of money to tell me this was what was wrong . Later he continued doing what he was doing but also started to have Seizures. I brung him back and they then said that it may be grandma seizures and that he’ll need some muscle relaxers and pain pills . Here we are months down the road and my dogs now dying from the issue that could have been found early enough to save him . Just really hate that this has happened to my lil buddy who has so much more life in him and now he’s slowly dying .

We have had four different vets because we've lived in four different states; and, by far the vets at Green Springs Animal Clinic our absolute favorite! Dr. Tucker, Dr. Rutter and Dr. Allison are the best! We have a new puppy and feel like we've gotten the best of care medically and behaviorally for him to give him all the tools to be the best dog he can be thanks to their expertise! These doctors were also so amazing with our previous pets (a dog and cat both 15 years old) that we put down summer 2020. Aging pets can be very hard and they were so caring and helpful in the final years and at the end. I would be remiss if I didn't also talk about the rest of the staff. From the front desk to the vet techs, we feel like we're a part of the family every single time we enter the doors. They are the most welcoming, friendly and caring group of people. GSAC really knows how to put a team together that you feel so comfortable with. Obviously, I cannot say enough good things about this place; we love it and everyone there! PS- We also board here and it's phenomenal as well.

Very professional and friendly staff!

Had to put my 17 year old dog down this week. It was heart breaking, but Dr. Tucker and staff were amazing. They comforted us and helped us remain calm. They all clearly love animals and want what is best for them. In a sad situation, they were all an amazingly supportive and we are so thankful for them. Highly recommend.

Very friendly. They learn your pet fast and they treat your pet nice. They took good care of fluffy both times and I really appellate it. Very informative and helpful. This is where I'll continue to bring her pet everytime.

Everyone there is so loving and kind to us. Tia has been recently adopted from the GBHS and she was taken to this clinic and she was well received and taken care of.

This is the best Veterinary clinic we've ever used. The people here very friendly and accommodating and Dr. Davies is awesome! They have taken great care of our pets.

Service was fine. You get the sense they really care about the animals. A bit pricey. You get what you pay for - I guess. They didn't twist our to visit their clinic and informed us of their prices in advance. So...you know. We had choices.

Very Friendly and my best friend(Max) is always look at with the most care that can be given.

We visited this animal clinic twice this week to have 3 of our 4 dogs groomed on two separate visits. We really wanted to like this clinic that also grooms because it is very convenient for us but, unfortunately, neither experience was great. The first visit was rather messy; the receptionist failed to tell me to bring the shot records, causing us to have to run back home, and she very rudely argued with me that she had told me about the policy, even though two of us heard her on speaker phone and knew that she did not. The grooming ended up being just ok on this visit. The second visit was pretty smooth, other than when we were checking out. The staff charged us for a dog over 25 pounds. This happened with our other dogs too, but I wasn't sure they were under 25, as they fluctuate some between 23-24. But with the third dog I knew he wasn't over 25, as he only weighs 20-22 at the most. The staff argued that he weighed 26 1/2 and then finally offered to reweigh him after I insisted that he has never weighed anything near that. On the final weighing he was less than 22 pounds. They changed the price, but the experience just didn't sit well with me. I felt like they were trying to up the price for a few extra dollars, which is sad considering that we won't be returning to have 4 dogs groomed several times a year. I hate that our experience wasn't great at this clinic, but that's my feedback.

I have been a client of Dr. Tucker's for years. I rescued a dog from the pound, and after a few days, it began to have what I thought was a reaction to the food. Dr. Tucker helped me with nutritional advice and in few days, he was eating well and playing like a healthy, happy pup! I can't say enough good things about this office and the staff. I owe them big time for saving me time and money over the years.

Fur parents of three right here!! We have searched far and long for a vet and love GSAC! Their front office staff is so friendly and knows our faces and our pups. Great prices and they are always good at sending us reminders for appointments!! Vets have even gotten on the phone with us and calmed us down when we were stressed about a pup cough, even of being the kind of place that just wanted to take our money. Definitely recommend.

I would not take my fur babies to any other clinic! After a horrible experience at Standifers Animal Clinic, I came here and feel so good about the care my babies receive. The doctors are so caring, and knowledgeable. The staff is made up of young people I know from HHS, and I am always pleased with the care Kricket and Bella received. I have boarded my babies here; they have had surgery, shots, etc. and are treated like family. My fur babies are family to me! I highly recommend this clinic on Carr Avenue! Even my grand cats go here!! ????

I was referred to Dr. Tucker to help diagnose a rather peculiar problem with my Italian Greyhound/Chihuahua Steve. Without going into detail here, the description of my little guy's situation required giving Gregg a significant amount of detail, so as to properly explain the timeline and various changes in Steve's behavior over a period of about 6 months. The level of attentiveness and patience that Dr. Tucker demonstrated was absolutely amazing. Not only did he listen to and absorb every word I said but his responses and suggested courses of action were tied directly to very specific and deep levels of detail that I had conveyed along the way. It was crystal clear to me within the first few minutes of our conversation that Dr. Tucker not only cares deeply about the animals he treats but also has a tremendous compassion for the conditions their owners sometimes face when their babies aren't well. If you're looking for a trustworthy and highly professional vet for your family pets, look no further than Green Springs. Dr. Tucker is an absolute gem.

Great customer service but my only issue is that we pay for bare min. 9bath,trim) in grooming anything extra is very expensive. flea shampoo,nail shaving,etc.

Excellent vet the past few times I have gone. They always are friendly and give the animals plenty of attention and comfort to make sure they are calm and happy. They explain things in a clear and concise manner so you understand what is going on. I would completely recommend this vet to anyone looking for animal care!

Green Springs Animal Clinic is amazing! I was immediately welcomed to a clean and friendly environment. The staff was helpful with my pet as I tried to complete some paperwork. After meeting with the vet, who was also very friendly and knowledgeable, I knew that this is where I would be bringing my pet for all of her vet visits and boarding.
