Dr. Langford was so great with my dog Daisy. I loved how kind and concerned he was and took away all my fear for her health. I’m from Michigan and was there in Alabama visiting my friend. When I go back for another visit I plan on stopping at just to say hi. Highly recommend. All the workers were great too!

We absolutely love Dr DeWitt and staff. He has taken care of over 30yrs of dogs for our family for 3 generations. None of our pups have ever had an issue. Ever! They treat you and your pets like family. I drive about an hr to come here because the trust and care you receive is unmatched. I do recommend forestdale vet clinic if you love your pet and want the best for them.

I took my puppy to the pet yesterday & they gave him some antibiotics injections that I confirmed told me to bring him back the next day for more fluids but I knew he was down bad that’s why I took him to the vet to get treated then later on that night I took him home & my boyfriend picked him up & said he was dead I cried all night because when I called the next day to tell them the lady said the vets knew he probably wasn’t gonna make it but they never told me that because I would of took him to the hospital

These people are rude and incompetent. If I could have given them 0 stars I would.

Yes we transferred our animals from mercey because we moved and most times smaller locations tend to take better care but not these people first of all they gave my 14 yr old the wrong medication without even asking us and put stuff down in her ears and asked us to come back in 2 weeks well we told them she was still itching but not as bad then he gave her the wrong kind agin and my dog all of a sudden went into a panic attack and was helping all might colud barely touch her that's when I pulled out the paperwork and realized what they had done gave her something different so we would have to continue to bring her back and charge us wouldn't recommend them to anyone

I can’t stress enough the lack of professionalism here in record keeping, and just generally not being rude. They don’t listen to what the client is telling them their animal needs done; on multiple occasions I asked for specific tests or vaccines (on the phone and then confirmed in person) only to leave and look at the receipt later and see that they didn’t do it. They lost all of my dog’s records at one point and had to ask me to bring them back in so they could make copies again. They try to make you feel like an animal abuser when you bring your pet in for what they consider a preventable treatment, even if you explain you did your best to try to prevent it (and that you’re now paying a lot of money to take care of) and then try to sell you their products based on that guilt. I could go on, but the bottom line is I plan on switching vets and I would recommend the same to others.

My fur babies really love this place. The staff is really sweet and take extremely good care of them. We recently had an emergency with one of our pup a and they let us bring her in right away. Also, they are extremely affordable, a routine visit will not break the bank.

This place is legitimately the worst place to take your animal. Took my dog in to get a heartworm test, Lepto vaccine. We made the appointment for this, and we confirmed this when we got there. They gave her a stomach de-wormer, and a vaccine she didn't need for two more months. They completely ignored it. One of the women there who answers the phone is extremely rude to my wife, they don't keep up records the way they should. Its just all around a horrible place. We are switching Vets. This was the last straw. Don't even bother taking your dog there. Also, side note. When my wife took my cat to get a stronger de-wormer. We have treated and treated, and he's on flea meds. They were very condescending insisting that we didn't have him on any kind of medication. Even though they admitted themselves that he had no fleas on him. They were lucky they did this with my wife. As I would have made a bit of a scene.

This is one of the best veternarians in Alabama. Dr. DeWitt had many awards and certificates for his lifelong service to animals. I wouldn't bring my pets anywhere else. They get a veterinarian who has served the community for many years. Animals are the number one priority. Check it out. We recommend.

Awesome team. We have been experiencing a lot of health issues with our oldest dog who is only 7. Doctor has gone out of his way to make sure my dog is back on track to recovery. The team is amazing and always takes my calls even when I psycho dial!

1200 dollars later dont know whats wrong with my cat very dissappiunted. Nice people seem to care but guy said come up with 300 than i take my cat and bill for total of over 1200 dollars and not sure of diagnosis. Confused on this
