Nice office and convenient location for a pet visit. The staff is very nice and helpful with my crazy dog Lola. She does not do well with strangers but they were very patient with her.

Ok so I had an emergency situation with my dog's ears. She had a very severe bacterial infection, which had been there for months(I work out of town and wasn't made aware of this issue until I returned.) Anyhow, we live in Texas but are currently visiting my wife's family for the holidays. My wife called and explained the situation and without any hesitation, they squeezed her in that same day. Extremely professional, friendly and efficient. I also really appreciated that they didn't give me a hard time about my dog's condition...as I felt bad enough about it as is. Bottom line, I will recommend this clinic to anyone & everyone.

Staff super sweet and very loving with my dog

One of the best bet clinics I've visited! The front staff is always very pleasant on the phone and in person. The techs love animals and always show a lot of affection to our 2 dogs. Dr Wright has always done a fantastic job on any surgeries as well as him and Dr Norris taking great care of our older dog Niko when he had a health scare a couple years ago and he had to stay there for most of the week. I would HIGHLY recommend them for your pets.

I am not sure why I have never taken the time to leave a review here, but these people so deserve it. Both of our pups go to this location! Every. Single. One. Of the receptions and techs are just lovely and caring and LOVE my babies. Niko, the westie, is friendly to all, but my scottie is standoffish with strangers yet he never was with these people. That tells me a lot. A couple of years ago, my westie gave us quite the scare. He is 13 years old and he had a bad bout of what seemed like pancreatitis (all tests showed that he didn't but he had every symptom.) He had to stay with them for about 4 days and we were absolutely terrified that he wouldn't pull through. The techs and Dr. Norris who was caring for him saw me boo boo cry many times and they were very comforting and assured us that they were doing everything they could and that they were praying for our boy. Dr. Norris went out of her way to go buy our westie some chicken just to try to entice him to eat. I don't know if any of you know how special that is, but not every vet is going to do that. I promise you. They even let me call and check up on him and come by and sit and visit because I missed him so terribly! Ultimately, he wound up pulling through and they were more than reasonable on our bill. We LOVE you all and are especially thankful for Dr. Norris. This is the only place I will take my pets and I suggest you give them a try if you are looking!

I brought my cat here several times over the course of a few months for urinary issues (blood in her urine, going outside the litterbox, frequency). I saw at least 2 different veterinarians, Dr. Mann and Dr. Wright. Each time they would unsuccessfully try to get a urine sample, give her a steroid shot, and send us home with antibiotics. Eventually after the 3rd or 4th visit and no improvement, I took her to a different vet who immediately did an X-ray which showed that she had been living with a bladder full of stones for months and needed emergency surgery. I would never bring one of my pets here again.

We had previously used this vet for our two dogs and two cats. We recently found a very sick stray. We offered to foster her for a few weeks through a rescue organization. We recommend Cahaba Valley Animal Clinic. I was SO shocked to hear that they don’t give even a small discount to rescue organizations and their pets. I will not longer be giving my business to this vet. We will search elsewhere for a vet that supports rescue animals and organizations.

We have used this clinic for 30 years. We started there because of the location. When we moved to a new home, we tried a fairly new, very large clinic closer to our new home. At the new clinic, our 2 yr. old dog actually unexpectedly died in his crate while they were supposed to be watching his reaction to a medication. We switched back to CVAC after we lost our sweet boy and have used them for 29 years since. I have very much confidence in the Drs. at Cahaba Valley Animal Clinic!!

Took my cat there for a minor ear inflammatory, he came back with flea's so bad I had to pay to get my place bombed. They also said they tell me before assigning any extra charges and then did not, of course.

amazingly helpful and gave great advice both pre and post exam, which I greatly appreciated while dealing with a bad off 16 year old family pet, very fair pricing as well

Every one is very professional, but the best part is that they are all super sweet & friendly! Definitely will be my family's vet from now on.

These folks care a lot more about the pets than separating their owners from their cash. The staff is friendly, helpful, and professional. I've seen that with my own pets as well as relatives that have also used their services.

Great care for our animals!

Our first time visit was wonderful. From the minute we walked in we were greeted with smiles. The nurses and Vet were kind and you could tell they really love pets! Our cat was calm throughout the visit.

Cahaba Valley is a loving, caring, professional vet practice. We have three dogs that are treated well, and we love bringing them there for anything our pups need.

We recently began to take our two dogs to CVAC. What a great experience ! The staff from the time you walk in until you walk out are fabulous, friendly and seem to understand exactly what you need and want. We received excellent care and advice without anyone pushing you to do anything. I feel they truly care and understand. Take your pets here!
