CMBAC excelled in caring for my dog. The staff is super friendly, and the vets are well trained.

Took our puppy here after he swallowed a rib bone from Miss Myra's BBQ up the road. Very kind and thorough with good instructions provided.

I’ve been taking my two dogs here for a little while now and the staff is so friendly and attentive. They make sure to keep notes of dog reactivity and accommodate for such. Overall, I love bringing my dogs here because they love coming to interact with the AWESOME staff!

Took our Archie here for his first vet visit. The clinic staff and veterinarian were so attentive, and answered all of my "First mom" questions. They took the time to love on him, and made sure he was comfortable.

Sharing on behalf of my godfather, since he doesn't share online. His experience is very high prices and not well run. In particular, he boarded his dog there this past weekend and they gave him the wrong dog when he attempted to pick her up. They disputed his claim that something seemed odd at pickup, insisting she was the correct dog. The next day, they call and informed him that dogs of the same breed had been confused. This created a good bit of confusion, but also concern and danger for the dogs out of their familiar surroundings and routine.

July 1 surgery to remove aural hematoma. No after surgery care instructions sent. Follow up on July 8. Attending vet’s orders countered by clinic staff. Patient sent home without clean dressing or cleaning of ear. Messages and emails to clinic not responded to. July 11, trip to vet ER required for infected ear.

They always take good care of Forest. Even though we’ve moved away from Cahaba Heights, we make the drive from Hoover to ensure he gets the same care that CMBAC always provides. Thanks y’all; the service is appreciated.

The Staff are very loving and absolutely love my fur babies! I would love for things to get back to normal and be able to go into the building...hope that happens soon...I really have not every met the Dr. who takes care of my babies but, I have had to trust the staff that I do work with! And they are great so I trust that the Dr are as great!???

About 11 years ago my family became pet owners. We took Scooby to Cahaba Mountain Brook Animal Clinic the 2nd day we had him. Dog U (under a different name at the time) trained US and Scooby and we've been fans every since! The clinic staff members are like family. Dr. Schofill has cared for us since the beginning. She is AMAZING. Whenever I drive up to the clinic, Scooby gets so excited and can hardly wait to get out of the car.

From the first time I came to the Clinic, I knew my animals were going to be safe and cared for. The passion that this team has and the care they put into every animal is astounding. My dog use to be afraid of every single vet we ever went to, but when I brought him here, while still scared, he wasn't shrinking away from the vets or the techs. He didn't pull away whenever they brought him inside for exams, and in his final moments, I know that even with the pain, he wasn't scared

I have been taking my dog to Cahaba Mountain Brook Animal Clinic for almost five years and I am never disappointed! They also treat Layla with great care and are straight forward with what she needs, especially as she has aged. Unlike other vets I've been to they aren't pushy on unnecessary tests or treatments and have decent pricing! Highly recommend them for your pet! They will treat them (and you) like family!

They were so gentle with our Sweetheart. She had been a feral cat, but after about a year, she finally adopted us. We were worried that she would be very stressed at the vet's, but they have Sidney - the cat whisperer. Thank you for taking care of Sweetheart. I've been the parent of a "patient" here for many years. I have never called with a worry about my dog that wasn't addressed quickly, professionally and completely. I usually get worked in for an appt. on the same day. My only complaint has been about the cost, but then, one usually gets what one pays for.

They saw my dog for an eye infection and I would 100% be back! The staff was awesome and I was super super pleased!!

Took my 14 year old golden retriever in to have a lump looked at. Everyone was patient and kind with my old man. And Dr. Schofill took the time to explain everything and answer all my questions in the parking lot while they are still curbside only. Highly recommend!

I took my dog here after being diagnosed with and not being put on medication for heart failure. I was told when I made the appointment that they were still doing curbside only, which made me worried about being separated from my dog. To my surprise, the staff made me feel very comfortable and only had him for a few minutes. Hunter and Dr. Williams were very knowledgeable and went above and beyond to take care of him. We will absolutely be back, I am so glad to have found this vet clinic!

They are so welcoming and enthusiastic about picking up my dog from the car. The vet came out and spent time talking about the issues and was very patient with answering my questions.

The best vet, day care, boarding, in Bham by far. I’ve used all their services for several years and have never been disappointed. They know your name and your pet’s name when you walk in the door. A big Thank You for all they do.

I will start by saying the ladies in the front are always so helpful and so kind. They are about the only thing enjoyable about our experience with Cahaba Mountain Brook. Not only did we utilize their vet services but we also used their groomers. I had spoken with their head groomer and got my dog on an every other month schedule to be groomed because he has a very thick undercoat. Upon taking him to be groomed last week we received a call stating that they needed my fiancé to come up to the office because they want to shave him. This alarmed us because his coat was not in the type of condition to be shaved when we dropped him off. On top of that the groomer told us AFTER already trying to groom our dog that she had no experience with wooly coated dogs. If she had no experience she should have told us and we could have taken him elsewhere. We picked our dog up and did not allow them to shave him. After getting him home we discovered multiple bruises and spots where his skin was actually coming up from his body from them pulling on him so hard. His undercoat was completely matted up to the point where it was hurting him. I called and wanted an explanation and was given excuse after excuse on the phone by one of the vets and even was told that this situation was our fault. The condition they left my dog in was absolutely unacceptable. I would not ever recommend anyone to get their dog groomed here.

We are first time dog owners. We chose Cahaba Mountain Brook because they are conveniently located and offer many services. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. They took time with us and made us feel very comfortable.

Wouldn’t bring my dogs anywhere else.

This post is LONG overdue. I can not say enough positive things about the Dr. Schofill, Dr. Cobb and the rest of the lovely team at CMBAC! They go above and beyond, and it truly feels like a family. Our boy, Duke, started out here as a pup and saw them until he was 5 years old. Then we moved to Colorado. Just a few months ago, at 8 years old, our sweet boy was diagnosed with hemangiosarcoma and he died shortly after. Dr. Schofill and Dr. Cobb continued to advise us from afar as they consulted with our vet in Denver multiple times to look over x-rays, bloodwork, etc to help us make the very best decision for our sweet boy. Nothing was off the table. They never gave up on him, they managed our expectations, and they did EVERYTHING humanly possible to help Duke in his final weeks. I will always remember the love they gave us during such a difficult time. After we decided on a course of action for his end of line care, they regularly called to check in on Duke and wanted to be kept in the loop until the very end. The staff and the doctors at CMBAC have created a very special practice, where the best interest of your pet is at the core of everything they do. We have been back home in Alabama during the quarantine and we just got a new puppy. Our new puppy has had his first round of shots and checkups at CMBAC, and we wouldn't have it any other way! They are simply the best in Birmingham and I can't recommend them enough!
