We had an emergency with my mom's dog the day of new year's eve. Thankfully this vet was able to get us in within the hour and helped us through the process of saying goodbye to our sweet Blossom. It was a very straightforward process and they made sure to make us and Blossom as comfortable as possible. I really can't say enough good things, thank you so much for the kindness of the staff and Dr. Miller during this difficult time

REALLY HELP MY PET & I WITH NO PROBLEMS AT ALL

Great people and I can always get an appointment when I need it. I went to 2 other vets after I got my dog but had issues with both. ZERO complaints about Altadena Valley Animal Clinic Would give them 6/5 stars if I could.

I was more than excited about taking my kitten here as it was very close to home. I had high hopes as majority of the reviews were 5 stars. To start off when I walked in for my appointment I didn’t get greeted. I walked up to the counter and all 3 of the girls up front just stared and finally one said “do you need anything” I replied with I’m here for my appointment with sprocket. She had me fill out paper work. When I finished the paper work I took it back up and she just took it. I wasn’t sure if she would need more information and she just stared awkwardly at me so I just turned around to go sit back down and wait. I also want to add my appointment was at 10:30 I showed up at 10:20 so I could fill the paper work out and not mess up anyone’s schedule. While waiting one of the girls came from the back into the front counter spot and started gossiping with another girl just whispering away and rolling her eyes. No one ever told me “hey the doc is running behind we will get to you in just a moment” I just sat there till about 10:45 and finally they took me back. The vet checked my pet out and she treated my kitten very sweet but gave me an attitude the whole time. I asked multiple questions which each one she shot down. She didn’t try to inform me to make me feel more comfortable with why she was saying no about the things I was asking. Over all I still left with a bunch of unanswered questions. Got an attitude from every staff member except one of the vet techs. I didn’t feel welcome and I certainly felt like I was interrupting everyone’s time and day by being there with my pet. Couple weeks later my pet got sick and my husband took sprocket back and got the same treatment I did. I’m disappointed because there were so many good reviews, this clinic is walking distance from my house and I had such high hopes. I’ve been to many vet clinics over the years with my various pets and families pets and this is by far the worst experience I’ve had anywhere.

Great place to bring my dog for vet services, Drs. Grimes, Miller, & Foster are so knowledgeable and kind. Grooming services are so good, have to book several days in advance!

They are the best veterinarians you could ask for! When my dog was ill he was very ill, that I had to put him down, there was nothing left to do. They were so so kind and caring. I will never forget how they were with me and how caring they were with my dog !!! My Luppo was their patient from puppy years to adult years (15). That’s when he passed away. Even though Luppo was an aggressive dog Luppo made friends with all the staff at Altadena. It had to be the staff and how he was cared for.

Great business. Everyone is friendly and professional and all our pets have received great care here. Groomers are fantastic and the vets take time to discuss any concerns you may have about your pet. They also review any procedures that are being done. Glad I've found them for all our pet care needs.

The condition of my pet was not good when I picked her up from boarding. Her weight loss and nervous condition took a few days to calm. She had been walking in her own excrement and it caked and dried there. So....never again.

These ladies are so nice. The vet stays with you the whole appointment and is happy to answer any questions.

Great experience! Altadena Valley Animal Clinic has been our vet for years. This week my dog had a freak accident while playing outside. They were awesome! Took excellent care of Henry and me. Even sent photos of him after surgery. Staff is knowledgeable, nice and super compassionate. Bonus- the bill didn’t break the bank! Highly recommend!

Came here as a second opinion for one of my dogs after Brit Animal Clinic didn't did what I felt was a poor evaluation of an issue my dog was having. Thankful I did too, because the issue was causing major discomfort and they were able to help my dog. The staff was extremely friendly and polite and I would highly recommend this vet, and will be swapping both of my dogs to being here as their main vet.

I cannot recommend Altadena Valley Animal Clinic highly enough. We have been clients for years, and they only provide the best service. Their prices are competitive and they are easy to work with. The doctors are top notch and you never wait long for your appointment. I also really appreciate their record keeping and the fact that they send reminder for vaccine updates and appointments. Great options for boarding, vet services, grooming, day care, and training.

They've taken care of our dogs since we moved to Birmingham. Great, caring staff. Fair prices. Never even thought about changing vets. We got lucky picking them first. They board as well.

The staff here is great! They always treat us well and take very good care of my flying gargoyle. The veterinarians are very knowledgeable and take their time with us.

They are Purr-fect!! My cat was completely comfortable with the staff. They are so gentle and kind. The car ride is the worse part of the visit.
