I really love the staff at The Meadows. I switched vets a little over a year ago and have lost three pets (due to age) in that time and they were very comforting to us. They helped my Dane through his medical issues which I attribute to depression/sadness when he lost his pals.

Read reviews I made my appointment for my cat rabies shot $38 for a 1 year shot or $92 for a three-year rabies shot. I was told upfront that I would get charged a $69 fee for a head to tail check up that must be done with all new customers but I would get $25 off. So by my understanding I would get charged $82 for a 1 year and $136 for a 3 year. I got charged $201. Apparently my cat also needed a feline combo vaccine 3 year, a feline leukemia vaccine for 1 year that I was unaware of. While the service that was provided for my cat was great, the fact that I was charged for fees or vaccines I never approved of got me really upset. Please beware.

I've had nothing but great experiences here! The whole staff is professional and I can tell they genuinely care about my dog every time we go. They take the time to answer all my questions and thoroughly explain my dog's treatments. Highly recommend!

Everyone at The Meadows has been great to work with. They always take care of my cats as if they were the top priority and not just another patient. They provided great care for my Alford all the way to the end. He saw all three docs at various times and all were great. I still have 3 more cats, so we have a lot of care needs in our future.

You always take such good care of Roxy! We especially appreciated you fitting us into the day's schedule so we didn't have to pay the ER appointment cost. You were kind and gentle with Roxy making sure you did what made her comfortable and kept her safe. We also appreciated the tiered treatment plan to wait and see how the first tier worked before moving to the next. Thank you!

They booked my appt for 8:30 am on a Monday. Loaded doggie up and had her ready and then they call me AS WE ARE PULLING IN PARKING LOT to cancel. Their reason...a miscommunicated scheduling error, on their part! So took hour off work this morning for nothing. We really needed to see a vet this morning. Will find a more professional practice to take my dog to.

The vet and clinic seem really nice and I like that they're doing in-person visits but during the visit it felt like they were pushing medications, extra services (lab work), and extra vaccines. I was also quoted that the heart worm and tick & flea medications they recommended would be $130. I even confirmed, multiple times, that the price for both, for the year, would be $130. When I got my bill, it was $240. I unfortunately was in a rush to get out of there and didn't pay enough attention until I got home that I was charged an additional $110 from what they quoted. When I called back to ask about the price difference they said the $240 was the correct price and there was nothing they could do about it (and even questioned if I just heard them incorrectly - which I definitely didn't). Their prices just seem really high (over $700 to neuter my 6 month old puppy) and it is frustrating to be quoted one thing and charged another. This was my first visit to this vet and I will definitely be finding a different vet that isn't as expensive and charges the prices they quote.

Me and my husband have moved around a good bit and this has been the best experience we've have had with a vet all around. They were kind, answered all of our questions, and gentle with my super anxious pitbull. The shot and medicine we got has already significantly helped our sweet pitty. Thank you for calling to checking on him! I will refer anyone looking for a vet here! (: Thank y'all for caring for our fur baby<3

Best waiting area ever! The kids corner was perfect to distract my littles about how nervous they're new kitty was for his first vet visit. And it was fully stocked with snacks. Makes a huge difference to this mama. The nurse and doctor were very attentive, good listener and didn't recommend anything unnecessary for an indoor kitty. I also really appreciated that they told me the cost of everything before they did it. Vet care can be difficult to budget for and we don't use credit cards, so this upfront communication was really important to our overall experience.

Had the most amazing experience at The Meadows yesterday! From the moment we walked in with our sick puppy the staff was empathetic and answered all sorts of questions we had. The prices were great and the doc even took some things off of the bill for us and told us to just come back next week and reevaluate what else we needed to be done. Lani is already looking better and it hasn't even been 24 hours! Thank you Dr. DeBell & vet tech (whose name I didn't grab)!! You guys were awesome and we will definitely be making you our primary vet from here on out!

Our sweet Annie was diagnosed with stomach tumors about a month ago. Unfortunately she had to be put down yesterday. Dr. Engel and her assistant made a house call, and made the process so comforting and respectful. We have taken Annie to them for years, and they feel like family. Thank you for your honest concern for us and our puppy through this whole process.

While very kind and inviting, I left in a panic because of the stacked up costs they presented me with. My cat had a lump on his neck that I needed checked out. Right off the bat, they tried to sell me a bloodwork package without even looking at the the lump. While I love my cat and want to make sure he's getting the preventative care he needs I was there specifically for the lump. After they did an exam and charged me extra for testing the lump they presented me with another blood work panel, dental work, and lump removal. My two options were $820, or $1035. Feeling stressed, I decided to get another opinion at Mountainwood Vet in Windsor. They also suggested getting it removed but I paid $250. HUGE difference for the SAME services. And they focused first and foremost on the problem- didn't try to sell me extra things.

I love this place. They take such good care of our precious pups without making us feel like we have to mortgage our home. They are loving and reasonable about what to do that will have the most impact on our dogs’ quality of life without sending us to the poor house. Is it expensive, no more than anywhere else, but we chose to have these dogs and we will care for them to the best of our ability and The Meadows helps us do that.

As many others have noted on here, this place is definitely on the expensive side and will put pricing before your pet's needs. I have seen a very reputable Holistic Vet in Fort Collins for years. Because she works out of her home I had to …

I would just like to say this is by far the best veterinary office I have ever been to. The doctors are so involved and they truly care about their patients. They are also super affordable, they offer a plan that gives you a percentage off of different services, even blood panels are included for free! It's only 50 dollars per month which is amazing since its essentially pet insurance. Every time we go in, its not just the doctors who are wonderful, the entire staff is so dedicated to giving the best possible care they can to their patients. We drive 45 minutes out of our way to visit this office and it is completely worth it with the consistent high quality care they give, I highly recommend coming here for your fur babies!

Staff and facility are great. No complaints and state-of-the-art. Downside is pricing for services and inflating what your pet needs. After having several dogs over the years in various locations, I realized the number of things recommended, the level of lab work "needing" drawn, number of services, and pricing for same, were higher than I was used to. My dog is healthy, and I got a postcard telling me what he is "needing" done. Called another vet with an excellent/equivalent reputation online. That vet only recommends 3 of the 5 items in my otherwise healthy dog, and the items needed are a better price there too. Yet, this other facility is also a 4.8 to 5 star vet according to the online reviews. For that reason alone, I am transferring care. Back in August I got a postcard from The Meadows saying my dog was "due" for his 6 month check-up. Now, I love my dog, but even I don't visit my doctor for wellness purposes every six months, so we didn't go to that one. First vet that has ever told me 6 month follow up is necessary in a healthy animal. Life is expensive and quality care is important, but I need to go where it costs less to still be a very responsible and vigilant pet owner. Again, staff and facility here are great, but if you are newer to pet ownership, be aware you might get more than you need here.

I've been blessed with pets all my life, and with that have met a lot of veterinarians...never one like Dr. Paternoster. The love and compassion she showed for my kitty, Todd, is unparalleled. Todd went to heaven Tuesday. I miss him dearly, but I know he had the best care possible and more love than anyone could give. Thank you, Dr. Paternoster!

We are new to CO and our 14 year old Corgi lost the use of his back legs yesterday evening. We called Meadows Veterinary this AM, they saw us at 12:30 and confirmed what we already knew. The compassion of the Vet and the staff could not have been better. They were so supportive of our decision and explained everything that would happen. This was so hard for us but the compassion and concern they showed our family was just the best. Thank you so much.

Competent, friendly, caring staff. They present gold standard treatment options and yet are reasonable in working with our family to follow best possible treatment plans within our financial constraints. Dr. Paternoster is passionate about delivering excellent veterinary services, but she's not pushy.

Friendly staff!! where amazing with Cooper (even when he peed on everyone and the whole room). Very patient with Cooper and also answered my million questions and concerns, didn’t try to force me to make any decisions or up sell any products. Gave me the best options for my pup and explained everything to me in detail. Love this place and the staff!
