Ski Town Animal Hospital Steamboat Springs, Wyoming

We were staying in Steamboat Springs on vacation and our labradoodle became ill, we called our vet at home and they suggested getting her to them or finding a local provider - we would not have made it to our vet at home in time to get prompt care, so we researched local vets, saw all the five star reviews, and gave Ski Town Animal Hospital a call, not only were they incredibly responsive - they actually called so we could get her in earlier due to symptom, they provided thorough and loving care, and even called back to check on her the next morning. Very grateful we found Ski Town Animal Hospital. I would recommend them without hesitation. Thank you for the excellent care for our girl.

Had to take our Evie girl there to have a drainage tube out. We were passing through in our rv and only there for a long weekend. The staff was so friendly, took her right in and was quick and affordable! Thank you to everyone who took good care of our sweet girl!!

Aloha! Getting my girls to Hawaii was one of the most stressful things I've ever done; Especially living 60 miles from Steamboat. They moved mountains for me and cooperated with me when in making some tough decisions. I would not be in Hawaii without all the girls at Steamboat Animal Hospital. MAHOLO.

We have taken three of our four dogs to Ski Town. Two of our elderly babes passed at home within four days of each other and the entire staff was so compassionate and Dr. Reese was taking my phone calls over the holiday weekend. We are just so appreciative of their sensitivity to our feelings. Now our two go to them and our big guy is under the best care with Dr. Evie with his allergies and knee and so on. We just love Ski Town so much!

This was our first visit to Ski Town Animal Hospital. Our dog isn't quite sure what to expect in these situations. Dr. Reese was kind and went as slow as he needed to get comfortable with her for the exam. She was knowledgeable and shared insights on on his needs and treatment. We'll definitely be going back.

I feel like my dog, Charli, is loved here as much as she is loved at home! And, she really likes the snacks:) Always quick to get in when I need, Dr. Reese always remembers details about Charli, and the staff is always kind. I would never go anywhere else.

My experience with Ski Town Animal hospital is always professional and caring.

I can't express how amazing these people are! Firsts of all I called in advance to make an appointment, get the prices for a general check, shots, registration etc and the lady on the phone took her time to explain each of them in particular. No rush, no let me put you on hold like forever. :) I got a Pomeranian puppy a few months ago and she was having food issues once in a while, she would vomit and had no energy at all sometimes. I had to take her for emergency an early morning one day and the staff was so accommodating and so caring. My puppy was barely breathing. I ran to them like a single desperate mom with her baby in her hands asking for help. (sounds funny now, but I was going crazy back then). They brought her back to normal right away; a couple shots and we switched food for and I haven't had any issues since. MY PUPPY is Happy at all the time, along with me! They will also follow up with you and make sure your furry family member is doing great and will advise you with any questions you might have! PS: If you loose your tag is just $2 to replace it! Hats off!

Dr. Reece and all of the staff at Ski Town Animal Hospital are fantastic! I have been able to get my pet in for an appointment on short notice and have also had to call Dr. Reece after hours for an emergency. She responded immediately and helped me through the situation. Dr. Reece and her staff always go above and beyond to make sure my pet is taken care of. Highly recommend!

My dog met the sharp side of a porcupine. Showed up unannounced... The staff was so great to me. Treated my dog with love. Left a happy customer - plus they had COVID precautions. Go ski town animal hospital!

This place is awesome! Our doggie got porcupine-d and the folks at ski town took great care of our girl. They were so pleasant, did the job quickly, and at an affordable price. We even got a heart-felt follow up letter in the mail. Highly recommend!

I hadn’t even thought of writing a review until a friend in from out of town went to another clinic and had a terrible experience; her next visit was to Dr. Reese and it made all the difference. I’ve been going to her for my animal roommates for a few years (Dinger/Dagger/Danger/Pongo are all doing great and send their love! Well... except Dagger. We know how he can be) and I’ve always had a great experience with her and the staff in office as well as prompt and helpful follow ups, before and during COVID. They’ve been empathetic and honest when we’ve had to discuss treatment options because of cost, which meant a lot when I lost a job and had a very sick kitty at the same time. They’re clear on the opposite side of town from me and it just doesn’t matter... I’d drive to Hayden to see them if they moved. But please don’t move. PLEASE.

Thank you, Ski Town Animal Hospital! I was a stressed, nervous wreck after 5 days of a sick pup and a terrible second visit to another vet in town while visiting Steamboat on vacation. They were able to get me in immediately and showed the level of care and compassion my dog deserved. They actually looked for an underlying cause to her health issue and helped us identify a potential serious, yet treatable health condition. They made me feel like they cared for my dog as much as I do. We're back home and following up with our primary vet. Thank you so much!

We are visiting from out of town and our dog got sick. They were reliably available and provided excellent care at an affordable cost! We highly recommended this place!!! Wish we could use them as our regular vet!
