Mountain View Veterinary Hospital Sheridan, Wyoming

We were traveling through Wyoming heading home and had an emergency situation with one of our dogs. We called the clinic and they were able to work us into their schedule immediately. We were impressed with all staff members we interacted with, their professionalism and kindness did not go unnoticed. Our dog was treated efficiently, given they had other scheduled appointments at the same time we were being seen. When it came time to pay the bill, I was shocked at how LOW the price was for the treatment that was provided. I would highly recommend this Vet clinic to anyone with lives in the area or for emergency situations.

The staff at Mountain View really helped me out when I was in a bind with my cat! I needed some place for him to stay for just a few hours before we headed home after a wildfire evacuation. The staff was so accommodating, friendly and understanding, and their rate for day boarding was so reasonable! I was so grateful for their help and courtesy during a challenging time.

Not sure of the quality of the Veterinary team at this Hospital. I couldn't get past the phone Receptionist. She was incredibly grouchy, unprofessional, and grudgingly gave out information. She quoted a price of $350-$450 for spaying my 6 month old female dog. If her attitude indicated the care my pet would receive, I will find care for my sweet dog elsewhere.

Great staff that really cares about your pet. Thorough examinations fully explained with kindness and compassion. This is the first vet my little Corgi is not afraid to walk in to. They always call later to see how Arwen or Kedi is doing

Have to admit I’ve never used this clinic but when calling for a quote for neutering a dog I was quoted $375.00 to $450.00. Vet clinic in Hardin Montana is $160.00 and Ranchester Wyoming is $130.00 to $160.00. Me thinks this clinic is a bit overpriced!

Dr. Chris is great. He takes his time examining our dogs and explains thoroughly what the prognosis is and what we should do. The staff is very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. The facility has fantastic modern diagnostic equipment. We feel fortunate to have this kind of care in Sheridan. We want to personally thank Kate and the rest of the staff for taking great care of our beloved Jack during his last hours with us. The grief was hard, but their empathy made it easier.

Dr. Peter Pelissier heard and watched the exchange in which I was upset with policy through his monitoring system. I left his office in tears and angry. Instead of calling me he called my husband about me he says, "out of concern." Evidently Dr. Pelissier believes in patriarchy because instead of calling me out of concern for me he chose to call my husband to tell on me. If he was concerned for me he would have called me to explain or apologize. My husband was not there. My husband was not the care taker of the animals. Yet he bypassed me to talk to the husband. I would suggest female pet owners use another veterinarian as this one would rather talk to the husband than female caretakers of the pets. Lucky for me, after leaving, I found out how much I was overpaying.

They've been extremely helpful and tentative to my dogs needs, around the clock. Great doctors and awesome staff!

We are from Texas and were vacationing in our beloved Bighorn Mountains when it happened. Our little Cairn Terrior had been struggling for a month on our trip, i.e., off and on vomiting, diarrhea, not eating...we had taken her to 2 other vets along the way, but knew it was something serious by the time we got to Sheridan. The doctors and staff at Mountain View treated us like family and helped us through the most difficult time in our lives. We will be forever grateful to these very special, empathetic individuals. We have taken Sweet Pea's ashes back to Texas and we know she is at peace. We especially appreciated the sympathy card signed by the entire staff that we received when we got home. You can be sure that these people care; that your pet is in good hands with them; and you can put your trust in them. Thank you Mountain View, for all that you do for our fur baby families.

This is hands down the best veterinarian establishment I have ever been to. They treat your pet like it is one of theirs. They are all very professional and don't mind explaining what is going in with your pet in depth. Dr. Chris was amazing in saving my dogs life and ensuring he got all the proper treatment needed. Mountain View has been our dogs' Vet since day 1. Everyone on staff is amazing. Our dogs LOVE going, whether it is for a boarding trip or just for an office visit. It is a very clean place, from the waiting rooms to the exam rooms to the kennels. We wouldn't take our dogs anywhere else. They know our dogs are a part of our family and they treat them like it, too.

I have been going to Mtn View since 2006. In that time they have stitched, consoled, admonished (fat dog) and provided extensive surgery and, of course, had to help ease the end of life for at least 4 of my animals. At the most painful and potentially vulnerable times, the entire staff is respectful and honest about outcomes. I appreciate that so much. Just because we have the technology doesn't mean we should always implement it. Most recently, I was faced with a big financial issue for my young dog. They patiently sat through endless questions on numerous visits. I went ahead with their recommendation. I seriously can't recommend this crew highly enough. I'm so grateful to have this level of veterinary care and support staff in this town. The front desk is better than a 4 star hotel. Follow up - unbelievable. The cards I have received for each of my friends that have had to be put to sleep are keepsakes. They all REALLY care. Love them all.

These guys are great! Many years ago, Dr. Pellissier saved the life of my girl basset, and I've been taking my animals to them ever since. It's always a good experience!

The facility it great, people are great, service is great, if you think your dog should be treated like a human. They go all out, even called the next morning after our puppy got his first shots to make sure he was acting normal. My children's ped doesn't even do that! We were looking for a simple in and out for our ranch dog with minimal cost and found something much different. Just depends on what kind of service you're looking for:)

Mountain View has been taking care of my dogs since Pete Pellisier came back to town. From the vets to the receptionist everyone goes above and beyond to be kind to my animals. I wouldn't go any where else. They are amazing!!

This is a place that I feel most comfortable taking my dog. Everyone from the front office to the vet techs are nothing but professional, kind and experienced.
