Boarded my dog here, when I got him back he was acting scared and when I was petting him he started whimpering and yelped in pain. I called alpine and asked if anything happened while he was boarded there, and they said no, but offered to prescribe him some antibiotics and pain killers (which seems weird to offer if nothing happened) I looked at where my dog was hurting and there are scabs and what looks like a wound from a bite I will never bring him back there again. Clearly lying about nothing happening.

I was very impressed with this office this week. My husband typically take our pets to the vet so this was my first experience here and Dr. Traphagan was so great in treating my dog. They got us in the same day I called and explained to me in detail what they thought was going on and how they could fix it. Very appreciative of this experience.

Went in and the staff was nice initially. When I started asking questions about what they wanted to do for my pet and the pricing, they got rude real quick. Then the ointment they prescribed magically doubled in price at the counter. I care for my pets- that’s why I take them to the vet when I see something concerning. But financial times are hard so I have the right to question what procedures are necessary and what things are going to cost so I can make sure I can also take care of my family, including my pets. I don’t think we will be back.

Went in and was told the appointment would be 61 dollars but then they charged us 93. Our dog had a abscess on her neck that they charged us 250 dollars to drain, which we paid because we didn't think there were any other options. Overall the staff was nice and supportive but it was very expensive compared to others. Originally I posted a lot lower review but given a few days everything cleared up on our dog and she's doing a lot better. I appreciate what was done but wish it was less expensive.

Staff was incredibly rude except techs. They held on to my dog for an extra day despite not responding to questions about pickup information. The charge was dropped due to not informing us about pickup for boarding which we drove 6 hours for I might add in hopes of picking her up on the date agreed. I proceeded to receive a nasty phone call stating the bill will either be paid by me or they will send me to collections. Ridiculous place, there is a reason it has only 3 stars trust me. My one nice thing to say is the quality of their vet techs. We later noticed how poorly they treat their own techs… it’s your pet, your call, but We personally will NEVER be returning based on this experience and their unprofessional office manager Taylor. If you want my money ask nicely and own up to your agreements.

I have been bringing all my animals to AAH for last last two years of being in Laramie. I have horses, dogs, cats of all ages and stages of life and also rescue a large number of pets each year. They have always been friendly on the phone, easy to work with, get me in quickly if it is an emergency, and great during any after hours needs. There are some very negative reviews on here that I don't agree with. They are a vet clinic working with animals. We have had a procedure go wrong that shouldn't have but they then worked extremely hard late into the night to fix it. They are not over priced and they do really care about the animals. I would absolutely recommend using them.

The boarding rate is per day and not per night, so the stay was twice as much as expected based on phone conversations. I also paid for one on one time for my dog and they gave it to her right before her pick up, which is very poorly timed. The staff seemed friendly enough but for the price I'll be finding other accommodations for my dog next time.

None of the front desk employees were wearing a mask... in a medical facility, during COVID pandemic.

We had to call after hours unfortunately due to our dog being very sick and not acting like herself. We were quickly/easily patched through to Dr. Edwards who listened to all of our concerns and was more than happy to come meet us at their animal hospital. She met us around 3am and was very friendly and helpful. She did a full exam and provided us with medication to help her nausea and the office followed up with us after our appointment to see how our dog was doing. We're very appreciative of her meeting with us at a crazy hour and taking care of our pup!!

When my cat was sick, really sick, this was the only vet in the area that would see him. We had just moved to Laramie and he was not yet established at any practice. Dr. Maria is amazing. She is our family vet now, and we love her. She has even made a home visit for one of our pets. She is kind, knowledgeable, and caring. She has cared for our cats and dogs. I wouldn't choose anyone else!

I brought my cats here for their vaccinations and to get my one cat looked after due to his herpes flare up. The staff were very friendly and the space was very clean and organized. The vet tech (her name was Logan I think?) and Dr. Fred were very gentle with my two cats and very informative on what they recommended and what they were going to do. I had a great experience and will go back. Prices are competitive.

I have taken my dogs to this vet for awhile and kept giving them chances. If you do something they do not agree with, like diet, they will treat you horrible. what crossed the line for me is I recently had my dog neurtered and asked for …

I always have a good experience here. They were the only vet in town who would take time to see me when my cat was sick. I’ve even had them come to my house to check out my pet. Definitely recommend.

This place is very caring, passionate, and trustworthy. I came home to find my dogs had- somehow- got into some chocolate. Completely- 100%- my fault no matter the circumstance. I called and brought my dogs down immediately. My dogs had to induce vomiting, get activated charcoal treatment twice, be on IV's, get fed stomach friendly stuff, and stay overnight. They gave me plenty of options to not stay overnight, save money etc., but I took every measure to make sure my dogs were taken care of and went with the most caring options possible. This included a final blood test and making sure all vaccinations were current. Dr. Hisaw actually took the time to call me during his lunch break- in between surgeries- and let me know how my dogs were doing. This meant the world to me. I knew my dogs were taken care of, and the staff are caring and passionate people. You can tell the doctor truly cares and- for all I had done with two dogs- I am impressed with the price. I can tell you I will be back to this veterinarian without a doubt and I am thankful for them saving my kids (dogs).

I’ve been bringing my animals here since I’ve lived here (4yrs). Tonight I call about my dogs paw, it’s 10 til 6, closing time. They tell me if it’s after 6 I’ll be charged the after hours fee. I arrive right at 6. The doors are locked and she rudely tells me that it will be an after hours charge. Thanks lady! Construction, slow drivers made me a minute late. Appreciate your help. I will be finding a new vet

I started going to alpine after another vet in town treated us and my dog like we were an just a number to them. Went to alpine and the vet dr. Edward's sat in the room and actually went though my dog's records and discussed and listened to me and after that one visit after multiple vet visits at the old vet alpine listened to me and took a biopsy of my dog's lump where the other vet never listened or cared. I moved all my other pets over to alpine best discussion I ever made . They treated my dog with compassion and treated me the same and actually answered all my questions and concerns

Alpine has always been so helpful with my pets. They always talk me through what options I have when there is an issue with a pet and they are very open about their prices. The area is always very clean and front desk staff are helpful.

I kenneled my dogs here on 2 separate occasions. I the 1st time one of my dogs came home with a bump the size of a golf ball on her neck. We took her to the vet when we got home and it was filled with pus. I called alpine and they said she didn't leave there like that even though I noticed it less than an hour after leaving their facility. The 2nd time my dogs were kenneled my other dog now has kennel cough. I would expect more from a place that identities itself as an animal hospital. I would expect a higher quality of care for the animals they are entrusted with. I would NOT recommend Alpine Animal Hospital whatsoever.

My wife and I boarded our dogs with Alpine a year ago and it was a positive experience and didn't require any additional shots or charges. However, this time the experience was the exact opposite. When we dropped our dogs off to be kept for overnight, Alpine was understaffed, didn't have additional people to take our dogs, and the rooms looked a lot more rundown from the previous year. We were told our two dogs needed a shot in order to stay boarded and we agreed that would be ok. The next day we came to pick up our dogs, we were given additional charges on top of the shot that we did not agree to or was disclosed to us before agreeing to the shot. Our dogs just had a vet exam last month (with a different vet) and Alpine charged us per dog for a full wellness exam stating it was required for the shot and apologized that it was not disclosed to us. Also when the dogs were brought back to us, my family's 103 pound German Shepherd was let lose in the lobby without a leash. While our Shepard is not dangerous we know that the 103 pound excited dog lose in the lobby made a ton of other people scared and uncomfortable and we felt that was extremely unprofessional.

I've used both Dr. Edwards and Dr. Peterson and have been happy with the service and skill. I recently boarded my dogs for a week and it was a good experience, and they took good care of them while I was gone.

Tried to call for an emergency about my dog ingesting chocolate and they refused to help me because I'm not an existing patient.

Went in on a Saturday and tried to pay for services with a credit card. The girl at the front desk was not smart enough to work their “new program”. She handed me my credit card and said it wouldn’t work and asked me for another card or form of payment. I gave her another card and she said it worked. Got home and found out she had charged both cards the same amount. I went back in a couple days later with my credit card statements showing that they charged me twice. They denied it and said they would have the owner call me. They never called back and basically told me I was lying. They screwed me for $240 dollars. Don’t go here or ever hand them two different forms of payment.
