The staff here are amazing, kind and knowledgeable. However, I wouldn't recommend going here unless you have bottomless pockets or aren't a pushover... My "free first exam" from the shelter I adopted my kitten from turned into $80 when they told me I'd need to provide a fecal sample to test for worms she didn't even have, just in case. My subsequent visits for vaccines were run up by $70 physical exam charges they don't ask you beforehand if you're ok with. They attempted to put my kitten on a treatment plan for heartworm, flea and tick prevention that would have cost me another $30 on top of my $148 bill, the tech who was going over my costs barely explained it and I could tell he was trying to rush through it so I wouldn't be able to decline. Otherwise the vets, techs, and desk staff are all fantastic, I would love to keep coming here but as I survive off minimum wage it will be impossible.

Amazing workers! So kind, caring, professional, and really puts 100% in to taking care of animals! Definitely recommend. They make sure to have a calm environment for your pet & are very gentle with them. These are people who genuinely care and I couldn’t be more thankful!!

They scheduled an unapproved shot and pressured me into things I didn't want. When I disagreed they were pretty rude.. the vet and the techs that walked him out. The front desk guy is great, very nice. But I feel they aren't aware of current practices and laws since the vet gave me misleading information on laws regarding shots (I researched it as my dog has a waiver from another vet for health reasons). So unfortunately I can't recommend them, I would go elsewhere. Doctors are such a hunt, human or animal. I write this to save some time for people who take selection very seriously.

We brought our baby to VCA after a long life to be sent to doggy heaven. The experience was tough emotionally, the staff and Dr made is the best experience. We have 4 dogs they service and take care of for us. We have used other vets in Fort Collins (Raintree animal hospital) and the cost is lower for all services and the care is phenomenal at every turn. Thank you VCA of Fort Collins.

I recently had to put down my beloved 18 year old cat, Slim Shady. With a recent kidney failure diagnosis, I knew that his days were numbered. When that day came, VCA accommodated us with very little notice. I was emotional and terribly saddened by this event, but every staff member I encountered was exceptional. They followed up with a sympathy card in the days that followed with heartfelt sentiments.

Do not go here! They charge a 60$ fee for a "wellness/health" exam each time i tried to get a only 30$ vaccination for my kitten. Regardless, if she had one not even a week ago. They are out for your money and don't seem to care otherwise. The vet has now twice has absolutely pushed their biased opinions on me and my decisions as a cat owner. I will be happy if i can even deter one person from going to this vet with this review.

We are in the process of moving to Berthoud and having previously been a part of the VCA network, I decided to call the Fort Collins location when our fur-baby started limping. I am so glad I did. We have been under the care of Dr Kizzy English who has been so great. With every phone call she takes her time explaining and talking to me, and also listening to any concerns and every detail. When 1 medication wasn't helping, she immediately said "lets try something else and find out what does work" And the rest of the staff is all so friendly and caring as well. I get good feelings with every single interaction with them. Highly recommend everyone there. :)

The staff here is super friendly and knowledgeable. They are always reassuring that my baby is in good hands; even though my little boy is a little timid they do great with him! They are fair priced from what I've experienced- everything has been less than expected. I would recommend them to anyone needing a loving place to take care of their fur baby!

Dog was still happy after the visit, so that's a win to me! They're doing contactless now (take pet from parking lot), but the phone conversation I had with the vet while she was with them was very helpful to me as a new pet owner. Update - Not very happy with the care club - no noticeable savings, their out of state customer service is terrible, almost as bad as comcast, and I've yet to hear back on lab work from like 2 weeks ago. Not worth the drive after a few frustrations, although maybe its worth it if you live close.

We have 3 dogs, all with various and sundry medical issues. VCA Fort Collins has been thorough, kind, professional and all we could have hoped for. We are there a lot and they have supported all our needs thru the pandemic. We enjoy everyone there, by this time I suspect we've interacted with all the doctors and staff. I love the complete explanations we get after exams, that helps tremendously since two of our dogs are seniors and we're trying to keep them as healthy and happy as possible in this stage. Thanks all!

They truly go above and beyond at VCA fort collins. Dr. Cook is fantastic, always tries to find out what is best for my kitty Tabitha. Tammy in the boarding center makes sure that whenever I go out of town I know Tabitha will be adored. Everyone I've interacted with here have been knowledgeable, caring, and considerate.

This review is actually for the administrative staff (since we haven't been there to see a vet yet), they are exceptionally professional and courteous. I spoke with Devyn once and a young woman (maybe Paige or Peyton, I really wish I could recall her name), both of whom were amazing. I had to cancel our cat's first appointment there, but they left me with such a good first impression that we will definitely be taking her there in the future, and I felt inspired to give them a shout out. Thanks to you both for being so sympathetic and accommodating, you represent VCA Fort Collins very well!

Thanks for reopening day care. The puppies are much more manageable and I felt you are keeping all of us safe

Super professional and friendly despite COVID-19 related restrictions. Was in and out quickly and my beautiful senior cat was well taken care of for her yearly checkup/vaccinations. Staff walked us through the new process and made sure we stayed informed even though we had to wait in the car for the appointment.

My dogs actually WANT to come here. I do have to pay at time of service like human drs. I feel confident about my dogs being here and to get the most honest diagnosis. My dogs come out happier... and good natured... amazing for one because he's Jatzu. Good honest care. Try them and you'll see.

My wife took our dog here 2 weeks ago and they told her he needed to come back for his booster shot in 2 weeks and it would be $35. When she got there, they insisted that the dog needed to see the Vet for a checkup again and it would now be $100. Give me a break, he just saw the vet 2 weeks ago, perfectly healthy, no surgeries to follow up on, just a way to increase their revenue. Go somewhere else unless you have deep pockets or like throwing your money at random people for no good reason. (Just happened 10 minutes ago). Bad business model VCA!!!!

I’ve been taking my two cats here for a few years and I absolutely love it. The staff is always so nice and all the vets here are incredibly kind and caring. They are a little pricey, but I always feel my cats are getting the best care.

I have been coming to VCA Fort Collins for 7 years, and have always received the best care for my pup Beazer. I had to say goodbye to Beazer today, and the staff at VCA couldn’t have been more amazing through the entire process. They provided a comfortable environment, showed true compassion, and made the process really wonderful. Thank you for giving Beazer the best, I’m forever grateful.

My pet was taken excellent care of! Becausee of Covid-19 the rules of entering and communicating has changed. I felt that the care was better than usual. My pet was somewhat cranky my first appointment. I was given medicinema to relax her. I had to return the next day. My pet was more relaxed but still angry. Everything was taken care of anyway. I have complete trust in everyone at VCA. They all are very professional and sensitive to you and your animals needs!

I have used 3 different VCA clinics in the past 11 years. Happy with their vets and services but if you are on a budget it can get very expensive.

My parents had two pets get into some edibles and VCA got us in very quickly and treated the dogs quickly. The recommended next steps were clear and extremely supportive. Thank you, team!

The veterinarian was very thorough in the exam, took her time and asked questions. I wish I could afford to have the care plan but they are not affordable. :(

I loved the staff as soon as I walked in they were eager to help me. The vet was one of the far most best ones I've found. I will always take my pets here.

Visited with Dr. Cook multiple times for our pet dog. She's considerate, knowledgeable, experienced and always takes the time to explain the diagnosis.
