Recently moved here from IL and we’re hoping to find a vet that we, and our 2 standard labradoodles, liked. And we found it!! Everyone we came in contact with at Friendship Hospital was cheerful, friendly and helpful. We are very happy ????

They are always so kind and gentle with my senior cat and make sure to give me the information I need to make the best financial decisions for me and health decisions for her. I appreciate their integrity and they are very accommodating of my schedule. Wouldn’t want to take my cat or future pets anywhere else.

Every time we take our pet to Friendship Hospital for Animals we are treated as if we are the only clients that they have! They truly listen and show such caring towards all of us.

Dr. Higgins and staff have always been wonderful. I have been taking my 4 ferrets and dog here for roughly three years, never once did I have a poor experience. Thank you everyone for taking care of my little babies for me!

Everyone at Friendship Animal Hospital in Fort Collins has always been wonderful & professional. Not only do they give excellent care to our sweet, old kitty, they are kind, compassionate, & loving! They accommodate us every visit given the fact that our cat has extreme anxiety. They always make it as stress-free as possible!

All of the staff is very friendly. I also really appreciated Dr. Holmes taking the time to explain what was going on with my dog and what our options were.

Good care for my dog. The doctors are aware of my pet's issues and history so we can quickly work through any issues.

I was very appreciative that Dr. Lisano agreed to see my dog on short notice as a new patient. She was very knowledgeable and patient with all of my questions. My dog has a great deal of anxiety and she did a wonderful job handling him. Everyone at the front desk was also very friendly and helpful. I am happy to have found such a great veterinarian!

I've been at a different veterinarian clinic in Fort Collins and this place has, by far, this vet provides better service. Not only the staff is nice and helpful, but technicians are also knowledgeable and very friendly. I need 3 doctors here and they were all compassionate and they all took time to answer all my questions. My 2 cats came here for check ups and treatment and I was impressed with the high level of professionalism they took care of my cats. They also follow-up the next day to check on your pet. Recently, I had to put my cat to sleep and I couldn't have chosen a better place to have it done for her. They had a room prepared with a cozy blanket, the treated all of us with patience and gave us comfort the whole time. The doctor was very nice with my cat, pet her with love and explained the whole process. They also gave us time to be alone in the room with our cat, before and after the euthanasia. They also helped us with cremation services.

I seem to know more basic things then these vets. We are no longer going to use them. Told me one of my cats was fine, he died 3 days later, now they told me one has a bladdered infection , gave her a shot and sent us home, last night she was peeing blood and i have an over 3000$ bill from having to run her to the ER Vet and we arent sure she is going to make. Thanks for nothing

My pooch and I have found a new veterinary home finally! After visiting the vet closest to our home several times, I was frustrated with their lack of responsiveness to our needs and their constant pushing of expensive procedures. Friendship Hospital for Animals got us in quickly and everyone there was kind and seemingly very happy to be working there. We decided on a conservative approach to my dog's problem and they have promised to contact me back in a week to check in on her. It is a breath of fresh air to experience a vet clinic that operates with care of the patient and its owners in mind. I am SO glad to have found this place -- Very satisfied so far!

This was my first time visiting. I took my rat in for some respiratory issue and some skin scratches. Everyone there was very friendly and helpful. I definitely felt that Snowflake, my rat, was well cared for and got everything she needed. Looking forward to continuing to take all my fur babies here. I would definitely recommend this animal hospital.

I would highly recommend friendship hospital for animals. They saw my baby Loki for a tooth extraction, they were very attentive to her needs and kept us informed of her condition every step of the way. They sent Loki home with a custom care bag. They care about every pet they see and the are very affordable.

This was our first visit to Friendship with our two 11 year old sibling rescue cats (Luke and Leah) for their annual checkup. Scheduling an appointment over the phone was easy and efficient and when arriving for the first time the cleanliness and professionalism of Friendship was impressive. Even though we had scheduled a tandem appointment for both cats together. when we arrived, only one cat was on the schedule, but we were immediately accommodated and both cats were seen together. Thanks ! Only two items made this first visit a 4 star instead of a 5 star - the bill for both cats was a few hundred more than at our previous vet and although we were promptly called with the blood test results for one cat, we had to contact Friendship several days later to get the results for our second (unscheduled?) cat. However, we were very promptly called and given those results once the issue was raised. Thanks again ! Overall we are happy that we have chosen Friendship as the new caregiver for our two feline buddies, recommend their professional service and look forward to visiting again in the future.

Friendship Hospital for Animals has the # 1 vet practice in Northern Colorado! Dr. Julie Smith & Staff go above & beyond to make sure that my pups receive the highest quality of care! The kind, compassionate, expert approach to their care is like non other.

Friendship was able to get us in the same day. The technician and Doctor were very friendly and professional. The treatment for our dog follows a scientific approach without going overboard right out of the gate. They were also very conscientious of the costs of the approach and the prescribed medications. Our dog is sometimes very timid, but at Friendship he was outgoing and friendly....because everyone there was that way to him. Thank you.

Honestly love my vet here but the wait time for pick up is INSANE. I was told 10-15 minutes. I got my pup an HOUR later.

Exceptional service and care. Friendship Hospital lives up to its name, with an outwardly compassionate crew of experienced professionals — from the front desk staff to the techs to vets and surgeons. All communications were concise and prompt from the start, and all post-op instructions were clear. I took my 2-year-old Great Pyrenees in for an initial evaluation before scheduling his neuter. (He also had an ingrown left dewclaw that required swift action; and they discovered while putting him under that a minor yeast infection had developed in his right ear.) Friendship was able to get us on the books for surgery the following week. Dr. Holmes kept me updated every step of the way, and was super succinct and thorough in her explanations of his status as well as post-op treatment. Five days later, my guy is doing great — dewclaw’s back to normal, yeast infection mostly cleared up, and incision is looking great and nearly healed. After enrolling in their annual care plan (roughly $70/mo. for the first year of neuter/spay is required; $35/mo. for each consecutive year — includes unlimited check-ups, vaccines, and much more), I only ended up paying around $220 for everything, including an E-collar and meds. I highly recommend Friendship Hospital to anyone who wants their veterinary care professionals to care as much about their animals’ well-being as they do!
